Room was very comfortable and clean. good facilities. TV was amazing. Lots to choose from on it. Microwave for cooking supplied. Fridge also. Washing facilities if required and all Free! Staff were amazing. So very accommodating. Listening to all your needs and running with all your requirements. Very friendly team. Beds are very comfortable. Situated within walking distance of hospital and lots of places to eat around as well. A mall is not far away. Prices to stay were excellent.

The hotel is in a great location across the street from the town hall. The rooms are nice and clean with comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and even a washer and dryer. We had a great stay. Sid was at the front desk when we checked in. He was so welcoming and friendly.

Comfortable hotel in Heart of City. Booked a room using points as a Gold Elite. Requested quiet room and was appointed 3rd floor over traffic lights so receptionist kindly moved me to a room on opposite side. It was quiet however the walls are thin and I can hear a lot of noise this morning - a lot of noise. Room service eggs were excellent, as was bar service last night. They know how to make a good drink. I was a bit annoyed as mini bar knocked this am and said she thought there was “no one in the room” whilst I was on a call. Not so professional. Can recommend as a good hotel in Christchurch (I’ve stayed in quite a few)

I stayed at this hotel again principally because it is an Accor property in the CBD (as I am an ALL Platinum) - but that is really about it. The hotel is passable for what one expects of a Novotel, but it is getting quite dated and the carpet stains in the room are too pointed a reminder of the hotel's age. The bed is soft and the generous number of pillows and cushions make for a very comfy night in. While it is in the CBD, it is a fair walk from most places of note in the city. Since my previous visit, the reception staff have improved in service and manner. I was disappointed that as I left a shirt in my room's cupboard, I had to call a few times to follow up on its search as the promised return call did not come until I called again (the shirt was never found). What is most disappointing is the restaurant. While the quality of the food is acceptable, it is quite overpriced for Christchurch and the restaurant's setting. Despite only having a handful of tables for dinner, I had to approach the wait staff when I wanted a table, to order, get a drink, or receive the check. Similarly, the bar staff are not as proactive as one may expect to come to tables and take drink orders, even when one is the only patron at the bar. My biggest complaint is the breakfast. On one of the mornings I even had to set my own table. Empty juice dispensers are not refilled for quite some time; the only eggs served are scrambled, the only non-meat ”hot” offering are potatoes and beans. Perhaps there is is a concern that some patrons are allergic to tomatoes, green leaves, salad, vegetables, and mushrooms? After two nights I moved to another hotel in Christchurch and am much happier.

Had a great experience at Rosewood Court Motel for 4 nights. The place was cleaned every day to a high standard and very warm. The shower pressure was amazing. A very comfy wee unit that also supplied a lot of cooking utensils and items which is unlike a lot of motels these days. The service was amazing, the host is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend to anyone and will be staying here again.

I stayed for a week in the downstairs unit facing the street. I was worried about road noise but it was fine although I think the road noise from Fitzgerald Ave was louder although no worse than any other motel near a main road. Otherwise the motel was well appointed and had eveything I needed including a bath. Unit well insulated and nice and cool on very hot days and nights. Good air flow from door and deck sliding door when I needed it. No instructions for heat pump (tricky to operate) and while I could have asked I found the instructions online. A big bonus was having my car under cover. Towels etc changed every day and bed tidied. Electrical plugs in all the right places for charging etc. A relatively easy 15 minute walk to town centre and bus hub. I will definitely be back although I can't speak for the other rooms.

Everything about Lylo Christchurch has been good except there is no storage room to keep your luggage, however locker is there to rent with $2 per hour. Room is really clean and neat, comfy, everything just perfect (except the walking distance to airport need around 15 mins and is pretty straightforward right from behind the hostel) . Overall all has been a good experience, thanks Lylo!

It's my last stop before I fly back home for good after a 2 weeks holiday in NZ. It's a total disaster experience as the lady restaurant manager (working on 23 May 2023, 9pm), was plain rude when I approached her politely wanting to ask her whether the restaurant was still operating since it was late already. She was then holding a tray of empty cups, gave me a stare, and whispered an insincere 'sorry' with a frustrated facial and dashed right past me. Mind you, there was only 1 table of 2 guests in the entire restaurant. Not wanting to spoil our mood further, I have decided to walk away calmly, be the bigger self, and head to the bar instead. Honestly, it was totally not the busiest day since it's a Tuesday evening, the bartender was so impatient in trying to wait for us to make our orders (we are only ordering 2 drinks my dear), he wasn't helpful in trying to provide alternative (since one of the drinks we wanted is OOS) or wait for JUST another minute for us to look through the short food menu quickly to decide what food we wanted to add on to our order. He quickly decided to push us to the restaurant if we wanted food. Hello? If we were ordering drinks at the bar, why would we want to order bar food to eat at the restaurant? Perhaps we aren't looking too groomed to garner his prestigious service that's why he was pushing us away? My goodness... this is the worst ever experience I had in my entire stay here. Every other accommodation service staff we have met was friendly, polite, and treats us with loving respect. I honestly do not expect a reputable hotel to have such horrible service.

Is just walking distance to the Christchurch airport (less than 5 mins). There are a big Woolsworth Supermarket and many eateries around the area too and probably takes about 10mins to walk from the hotel. Hotel room is spacious and clean , modern and price is reasonable.

PPengguna TetamuExcellent location to explore Christchurch attractions. Very clean and well appointed room for an excellent price (I was wondering what It may be getting into). The room quality was a 3+ star for US standards. The only negative is the lack of parking (only offstreet parking or may have to drive a block away for parking). The clean room, friendly staff and excellent location and the overall niceness of Christchurch and it's people in general made us quickly get over the initial stress of trying to find a place to park. PPengguna TetamuStopped here for a night after arriving from a seriously long haul flight, and it was perfect. Nothing to better to perk up than clean rooms and facilities. Anya was highly accommodating and helpful even though my flight in was slightly delayed. She even put up my extra party member for free! Breakfast is readily available in the rooms so for those who are heading out from Christchurch first thing, it's highly convenient! Location wise, near Northland mall, which has all the essential stores needed to get ready for an NZ road adventure starting from Christchurch. Love the red and white theme!

PPengguna TetamuExcellent location! So close to everything in the city centre, we used the valet parking service and didnt take the car out once!, we could easily walk everywhere. We stayed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom suite, which was nice and clean, well appointed, and with a super comfy bed. They even had a wee sewing kit and a toothbrush kit, which are definitely things we've needed on our travels! Facilities in the hotel were great and staff were very friendly and attentive. Quintin from concierge was so helpful, and helped make our stay extra special by organizing wine and platters and delivering balloons to our room for our arrival :) Breakfast was also really yummy. Thank you Fable Christchurch! We really enjoyed our stay :)

PPengguna TetamuExcellent hotel just a stone’s throw from Cathedral Square, and a few minutes walk from the bus interchange. Lovely staff and spotlessly clean large room. Was lucky enough to be there the morning they first opened for breakfast in the L5 restaurant, which I can highly recommend - the home made lemon curd yoghurt and granola was delicious! Looking forward to staying again.

Walls are thin as anything could hear everyone’s conversation and 5 different people snore. Will never be back.

Bathroom with good shower - good water pressure and toiletries. Ordered room service for evening meal - it came quickly and definitely hit the spot. Tempura battered fish and ribs. Good location about a 10 minute walk into Christchurch CBD. On-site free parking. Laundry facilities - washing powder and tokens available at reception. Would recommend.

Really impressed. Lady at reception was so so helpful and finally a hotel that provided real milk upon check in. Old fashioned some quaint anomalies I havent seen for yonks. Roomy, neat and tidy. I toddled up to reception in heavy rain to order continental breakfast and the same helpful lady was so helpful, gave me a few tips and showed me how to get back to room undercover. Complimentary drink at bar, free guest laundry so friendly staff in restaurant as well, good food. Very rarely give 5 stars but Redwood deserves them! Am looking at riding around south island next summer and if I do, will definitely stay at Redwood again.

YYANSHUII booked 3 bedrooms apartment with 3 queen beds and 1 sofa bed. The room is good. The only negative feedback is about the extra charge $30 each for children over 2 years old per night, as many hotels don’t charge children under 11 if they use existing beds. And more importantly, those hotels provide the info on Trip. I was surprised when I was told about the extra charge $180 for 3 children for 2 nights, eventually negotiated down to $90. I would suggest the hotel put children policy on Trip so that people is aware of extra $30 per child (over 2 years old) when they make the booking instead of checking in.
