The hotel is a few blocks from the train station on one side and a few blocks from the city centre on the other, with a Spar supermarket a block away. One thing to be aware of is that it's unattended, you get the check-in details shortly before you arrive so you need reliable Internet connectivity before checking in.

Upon the denouement of our stay, when inquiring as to the modality by which the hotel administration intended to redress the aforementioned concerns—namely, the electronic disruption, the unilaterally accessible bed configuration (notably unsuitable in light of my recent knee surgery), and the glaring absence of a vehicular drop-off point coupled with an attendant porterage service—I was proffered a breakfast voucher, which I was constrained to decline due to time constraints, and a superfluous parking permit, the utility of which was rendered nil by the dearth of information proffered during check-in regarding the hotel's parking amenities. Perfect for a stopover driving between Austria and Italy. The location is extremely convenient for driving - easy access from the motorway and just a stone’s throw from the centre of the old town so you can walk to cafes, shops and restaurants in a few minutes. We very much appreciated the underground garage (additional cost €15) with direct access to the hotel. The hotel was in immaculate condition and looked brand new. Everything was completely spotless. Shoutout for the fantastic huge walk-in rain shower!

Mooi Hotel op een prima locatie tegenover Mini Mundis. Ruime, goed ingerichte kamers en van alles voorzien wat je van een 4 sterren hotel verwacht. Het ontbrijt is heerlijk en zeer gevarieerd. kortom; niets mis mee!

We got locked out of our room on the first night, after going out for dinner. As the reception shuts at 8pm, we rung the emergency number on the card, which went to voice mail. We left two messages, to date no one has returned our call, and so we slept on the sofas in the reception! No apology, and after persistence, I got my money back for the night. The hotel needs to review its out of hours procedure. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast good. However I would question whether its really a 4 star venue.

Hotel is very luxory, in the center of the Old Town. Super confortable rooms and beds. Very easy access to the hotel. Fantactic view from the roof -top restaurant. Parking from Saturday/Sunday is free-of charge on the street. Garage is 2 minutes walk. Kalgenfurt has very interesting architecture. Nice solution for city break tour.
