excelent location with great lake view and very much convienent to play at the lake! you can swim in the lake, have a boat, and many water activities. Very helpful staff! Clean and spacious rooms with newly decroted! Delicous food! we stayed there for 2 nights, and really enjoy our summer vacation there. I think hotle stadler is one of the best hotles around attersee. Highly recommended.

I recently organized a weekend getaway trip for a couple of friends of mine. My best friend is getting married, and I was in charge of organizing the bachelor’s trip. Usually, this would entail renting a villa in Ibiza or Marbella for a weekend of partying, which we have done many times before. However, this time we decided to head to the Wolfgangsee to enjoy the beautiful mountains and lakes. We all lead busy lives, with kids, so this time around we wanted to take it easy and be active. After doing some research online, I came across Cortisen. It had everything we were looking for - a stunning waterfront deck with access to the lake, a pool with a spa, a fine wine collection, and much more. From the first moment I spoke with Roland on the phone, I knew we were in for a warm welcome and professional hospitality. During our trip, we explored the spectacular hiking trails, cycled the breathtaking roads on our road bikes, and hung out by the lake - they even had paddle boards, which added to the cool vibe of the place. We were fortunate with the weather, which made our stay even better. For those reading this review and wondering what a bunch of 34-year-olds were doing in a town full of retired couples, well, our stay didn’t go without a tiny hiccup. We did get a little noisy one evening, to be exact, it was only 11 pm (remember, this is Austria where people like to go to bed early). As responsible gentlemen, the next morning we personally apologized to Roland and the guests who were a little bothered. Roland was incredibly understanding and maybe even had a little smile about it. I think deep down, it was refreshing for him to have a group of guys hanging around. I highly recommend Cortiseen to all those who wish to stay in a sophisticated property. Their staff made us feel very welcome. This is the type of place that requires a certain level of respect and class from the guests, and I knew my friends would be respectful of Roland’s credo. Next time I will come with my wife. Alone. We have just had the most fantastic 7 nights at this charming hotel in St Wolfgang, just a few minutes walk from the lake. The whole Wolfgangsee area is beautiful, and this family run hotel is the perfect place to stay while you explore. Staff are so helpful, rooms are a lovely size and spotlessly clean! As for the breakfast….just incredible! So much choice and beautifully presented on lovely cake stands. I even had my own vegetarian platter! Swimming in the lake at the private beach area was perfect- especially in the mini heatwave the area was experiencing! Thank you family Furian, we loved our stay!

Es ist ein ehemaliges Arzthaus, das Stiegenhaus beim betreten sehr muffig und alt. Die Haupteingangstüre lässt sich nicht versperren. Der Türschließer im Türstock ist ausgebrochen. Es könnte jeder ein-und ausspazieren wie er möchte. Im Zimmer abgeschlagene Wände, das Licht im Kühlschrank kaputt. Ein absolutes No-Go. Es wurde nicht kontrolliert. Der Balkon: verrostetes Geländer, abgeschlagene Fliesen, teilweise nicht mehr vorhanden. Geschirrspüler gibt es auch keinen. Ein kleiner wäre sehr fein. Im Badezimmer löst sich die Dichtung von der Duschtasse, Wasser dringt nach außen. Ich habe alles auf Fotos festgehalten. Das allerschlimmste, im Stock darüber, war eine Männer-und Frauenpartie. So an die 6 Leute. Bis halb 4 Uhr früh wurden Tische gerückt und Lärm gemacht. Dafür haben die dann bis mittags geschlafen. So geht das absolut nicht. Das hat das ganze zu einem Horrortrip entwickelt. Nie mehr dieses Haus. Von Romantik sind wir weit weg.

Beautiful historic hotel situated on the lake in picturesque St Wolfgang. The cuisine was excellent as was the extensive wine list. The Stunning bathing area with its exclusive access to the lake was perfect for afternoon lounging with a drink or two. Gudrun and her team were amazing with special thanks to Munee in the restaurant and Zoltan and Alexandre for their hospitality. My wife loved the frozen yogurt shop also… We look forward to returning soon

Um nicht in der Emution zu bewerten, habe ich mir bis dato Zeit gelassen um meine Eindrücke heute hier zu schreiben. Es war schon Ende Mai 2023, als ich mit meiner Familie, wir 4 samt unserem Baby, daß Restaurant des Landhaus zu Appesbach in St.Wolfgang am Wolgangsee besucht habe. Ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art, glauben sie mir es war wie im 7. Himmel. Im Landhaus zu Appesbach bist du nicht nur Gast, nein du bist Freund und fühlst dich einfach gesagt großartig und sehr willkommen. Das Personal und hier möchte ich die Herrn Thomas Peterseil und Christopher Pinegger ganz besonders hervorheben, ist in seiner Freundlichkeit und seiner Zuvorkommenheit etwas ganz besonderes, es gibt nur wenige Häuser in Österreich, die sich mit solch freundlichem Personal rühmen können. Die Speisen-und Weinepfehlungen der beiden Herren waren so perfekt, dass wir gleich zwei Flaschen, von dem uns empfohlenem, geleert haben. Die Speisen von Thomas Höfler und Lucas Mitter suchen ihres gleichen. Frisch, regional wunderbar zubereitet und sehr gelugen am Teller präsentiert, war die Gaumenfreude nicht mehr zu bremsen. Ich kann nur eines sagen, einmal Appesbach immer Appesbach. Ich wünsche der Geschäftsleitung, mögen sie diese 4 Herrn, die wir kennenlernen durften, niemals verlieren, sie sind einfach großartig und wunderbar. Hier ist der Gast Kaiser.
