I have stayed in many hotels and even I'm also a hotelier. Requested for early check in at least 15 minutes earlier but the reception strictly allowed to check in after 3pm only. This budget hotel is located in front of Komtar where are the buses stop. For transportation it is not a problem. The airport bus also stop at Komtar,and if you are going to jetty,then the bus stop stop just 3 minutes walk in front of the temple. The hotel door is always lock, so you need to push the bell if you are the first timer. You need to climb up the stairs as the lobby is located at second floor, be reminded there is no doormen to help you carry heavy luggage. Be careful while you are climbing the stairs as some steps are broken. The lobby has plenty of sitting with nice decoration for those who like Instagram pictures. At lobby area also have a small open air space,maybe for smoking. The room I booked is a twin room and facing the backyard,so it is very quiet. Front room will be very noisy as the traffic is endless around Komtar. The room is OK in size and cleanliness,but a bit dark. Inside the room there is a small working desk but you won't be able to use it as the kettle is also sharing the desk. My bad experience is the safety box, it is out of order and not able to use it permanently as the batteries leakage have rooted the whole panel. The bathroom is bright and looks very clean,the water is good with hot and cold water. This hotel is near restaurants, as Penang is so famous with food. If you like walking,then everywhere is within walking distance such as the night food street, the Weld, the old city etc. Considering the best location and best room rate,I will certainly return to stay.

Bilik ini bersih berkilauan, saya menempah bilik deluxe twin, biliknya besar untuk saya, suami dan bayi berusia 4 bulan saya, mempunyai kemudahan asas seperti peti sejuk, tetapi saluran TV tidak jelas namun ia mengganggu kami kerana kebanyakan masa kami berada di luar..aircond juga tidak terlalu sejuk.hotel ini terletak berhampiran tempat tarikan dan restoran seperti line clear,nasi kandar sulaiman,ada dobi di lobi, ada free flow coffee juga.. Saya pasti akan tinggal di sini lagi jika saya datang ke pulau pinang

We stayed with the Ascott group numerous times for its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities around the world, and Citadines Connect Georgetown is no exception. The building is renovated from a historical building which gives the hotel a mixture of cultural and contemporary vibe. It's a 3-story newly-built hotel and everything you see is brand new and tidy. The lobby is not large, but there are plentiful spaces to rest for a while. The room we stayed in is Studio Executive, and it's clean enough. The air-conditioning system utilized a touch panel for you to easily adjust to your liking. There are no drinking bottles inside the room but a water dispenser is just in the hallway, both environment-friendly and convenient. One of the things worthy of notice is the tap water system, where hot and cold water may be installed conversely. The hotel itself is located around minutes walk from Komtar neighborhood, and you can easily take buses to the airport or to other areas of Penang via the Komtar terminal. Several malls are also in this area to give you the convenience of shopping. The well-known hawker food centre at Lebuh Presgrave crossroad is also close by, where you can easily grab most of the famous and delicious local dishes here. CAT bus station is also not far from the hotel, and you can tour the UNESCO sites with it for a day trip. Overall, it's an excellent choice to stay here for its brand-new facilities, and its convenience regarding transportation, shopping, and dining.

Takde towel untuk lap kaki. luar tingkap banyak puntung rokok. Bilik dan karpet dalam bilik tidak bersih, saya dan anak2 alergik habuk so gatal habis hidung. Pool ok je. Boleh la anak2 mandi tapi toilet yang area pool tu kotor. Akhir kata, tak akan repeat hotel ini!
