Stayed here for work, found checking in easy, room was clean and comfortable, Had dinner in restaurant and the meal was lovely. The bed was comfortable, air cond wasn't noisy like some places I have stayed in, it kept a constant temp & was just right considering it was very cold outside :) The meal the steak was cooked perfectly with the sides to match. Overall great place to stay & will return again.

what a great place check in was so easy and welcoming Donna checked me in helped me with a microwave toaster and put my heater on as i was coming late to make sure my room was warm when i arrived thank you to all staff for making me feel so welcome definitely a family place

I stayed at st albans hotel last week.Staff are very friendly.Rooms are net and tidy. Close to airport and train station. Food was excellent manager on duty offered discount for us. Break fast packs were so handy on the go. Looking forward ro stay at St Albans hotel soon.

I had a wonderful stay in my apartment. The hotel staff were so caring and helpful to ensure my needs were met. Such a great service. My room was lovely and so clean with everything I needed for a week stay. The toiletries were beautiful and the coffee was great. Close to transport and shopping. Will definitely stay again. We booked a week long stay with our daughter, we missed the first day of room service attending to the room we put our sign out for a clean on Good Friday and received a text message to say all room cleaning would resume the following Tuesday. Good Friday I can understand as it’s a very significant holiday but the Saturday Sunday and Monday I found to be bizarre and the only place I’ve ever had this occur. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and in a fantastic location but the lack of servicing over a long weekend when you have a family holiday doesn’t really work.

We arrived out of hours and were expecting trouble however it was a simple phone call and we got our key. We got a great deal on our accommodation, which had more than enough for our needs. The facilities (pool etc) were great and everything in our room worked perfectly. the air con was cold and quiet, the TV was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I noticed was the walls (toilet) and curtains (main entrance) are a little dirty (probably due to being a specific room for lots of children?) however this is just fussy. I will most definitely stay at Discovery Park again without any hesitation. From check in to check out it was easy, quiet and stress free exactly what I needed

I stayed here for one night (corporate booking), due to nearby work. I was filled with dread when I saw I was booked at a hotel. When I booked in, I found the rooms to be quite modern, very clean and fresh looking. I was extremely impressed. I will definitely stay here again if I work in this area again. The room was very quiet. Super impressed!

We arrived to find the reception closed and was directed to bottle shop, the guy finally came and told us to go to the hotel bar, we entered and he pointed to see the other guy at the bar who was very pleasant, got our key and entered the room to find no iron but an ironing board. So went to get a bottle of wine to take for dinner at bottleshop and had the same mid 50s/60, guy, we had when we first arrived. After paying for my bottle I asked if they would have an iron as there is a ironing board but no iron in the room , he replied we want have one they get pinched, so I replied 'so you can't provide one for me? He replied i said ' I'll have a look 🙄' asked my room number and I went back to my room in absolute disgusted to be spoken to so rudely. He then dropped one of with no apology or a word... We had been on holidays for 8 days and going out for dinner and wanted to iron some clothes ... understand they get stolen but didn't need to be spoken to like this🙄🤔😡

Visited this hotel for 5 days second week of April, the check in was a bit vague with the reception laying more attention to the guest trying to get money to play the pokies than the actual check in process. Hence I wasn’t really indicated where the room was or how to head up to the elevators or presented with any of the other facilities of the hotel, until I asked of course. No complaints as the receptionist was adequate to the standard of the Australian hospitality service. Room was quite on the second floor and spacious but bed wasn’t very comfortable. Also the showers lack water pressure but this is very subjective. The restaurants are okay and they offer a variety of meals nevertheless no buffet breakfast but there are plenty of choices around the area too thst you can Uber in. The reason it gets 4 stars for me it’s because of the location which is convenient for me and it has the facilities I require during business travel. Overall a nice hotel and the rooms were dressed every day which is also a plus on this lack of service environment we live in today. Oh it also has free parking and I didn’t find it too noisy as other people have complained about.
