This accommodation is located within a Medieval themed property which is currently undergoing major renovations and upgrades. When the theme park is closed, guests can walk around it. The king room I stayed in was pleasant. Housekeeping a bit hit and miss. Clean sheets but rumpled and soiled mattress protector and electric blanket underneath. Mugs and dishes provided not well cleaned.Free chips and water provided in the mini bar. About 15 minutes drive from Ballarat, on the Melbourne side. No parking near the rooms. About a 300m walk from the car park up the front steps of the castle and then further walking on cobbled paths. Given the low price I paid I was happy with my stay.

This is a hidden gem. On the outskirts of Ballarat, but all major attractions are only 15 mins away eg Sovereign Hill, Lake Wendouree etc. Spacious rooms, clean and comfortable, light breakfast provided. Very helpful staff, communicate well prior to your arrival. Indoor heated pool! You’d be mad if you didn’t eat at the Ballarat Providore restaurant right there. Excellent variety of hot meals, takeaway, and amazing cakes and chocolates (and home made jam) for sale. Comfy open fire. Lovely workers too. Next time I’m back in Ballarat I’ll be staying there ! And eating there!

We stayed at Eureka Lodge Motel as were attending a family event in the heart of Ballarat. It is only a 5-10 minute drive into town centre, close enough to the shops, however far enough away to make it a quiet location. Comfortable bed, couch in room, electric blanket and heater were ideal for a cold and crisp weekend, basic cutlery and crockery provided, even though bathroom has older fixtures very well maintained, the decor in room has been updated and everything is clean and tidy! Check in was straight forward and owners pleasant and welcoming. Bonus Indian restaurant across the street which had tasty food at a reasonable price! Could possibly have more people coming and going in the summer months being opposite the Eureka Swimming Pool.

We had booked ahead, however for family reasons we had to change our dates and weren’t sure how many days we could stay. The staff were so understanding and let us just take it day by day. We ended up having 4 nights at their lovely park, clean ,tidy and the new drive through are great. Top G’Day park👍

We had an ensuite site (site 31), a good sized site with a paved pad for the caravan. The ensuite was really good, nice shower and plenty of room. Camp kitchen was very nice, well equipped. Plenty to do in the park for kids with pedal carts and a good size playground. Only complaint was the poor quality wi-fi.

So many positive things to say about Sovereign Park but the 2 memorable standouts which will have us returning would have to be, the SERVICE and INDOOR HEATED POOL & SPA! The booking & check-in process were both so easy. Jen served us throughout our stay, she was immediately warm and welcoming. After checking out and having mentioned we were going to explore the Wildlife Park nearby, we had a call from Jen about some precious plush toys our daughter had left behind. She knew how important it was to get it back to us so she wasted no time in contacting us before we made our way back home. The family room was comfy & cosy, clean and included all the amenities needed. The kids had the best time in the pool, spa & sauna. Mummy even got some time to spend in the gym, nothing flashy but complete & practical. Thanks so much & keep up the great service. This is a little gem! I really recommend staying here. My room was great. After hours check-in was fantastic. The room entry technology is amazing! The shower was nice and hot, with great pressure. The bed was very comfortable with equally comfortable pillow. There were two spare pillows. Air conditioning very good. Lovely couch in the room. Awesome cathedral ceiling - always very impressive. Full size ironing board available, microwave, toaster, kettle all included. Fridge in room. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand towels and three bath towels all provided. Room smells clean on entry. The bathroom is a bit dated - especially toilet - but it does it's job. The room is huge in size. Great size room. Not much to fault with this place. There is a pool, but didn't use it and it's a bit hard to find the door to it. I would recommend staying here. It's clean and comfortable and very good value for the price. Stay here!

It's in a reasonably close location from the train station. I arrived just after 1pm however the entry door was locked, so I had to call the phone number I received in my email booking to gain entry before 2pm. It's self sustaining with no reception, although I did see a cleaner there the following morning. The room itself is what you need it to be, a comfortable bed, a fan which cooled the room down, a heater for the cooler months, and lots of charging points. The fridge and freezer were quite large, tea and coffee facilities were decent, the shower and toilet were fine with good flow and solid hot water. While it wasn't luxury, I was happy with everything, and it was very good for the price. It was very quiet as well with no traffic noise. The pub itself wasn't open while I was there nor did I see any signs of when it was reopening, but the leagues club across the road appeared to sell meals and drinks.
