Terrible! Do yourself a favour and do not stay here. The room I booked via their website was a ‘classic room with 1 king size bed’. For $250 per night. What I got was a room in the staff service corridor. It was excessively noisy with staff running past, noise from reception and the car park entry to the hotel. Staff arrive early in the morning to yell out loudly to each other outside your room. Housekeeping is right outside your door and this area is best described as a forgotten corner of a hotel not suitable for guests. Yet, they are using this as a guest room for $250 per night. I’d booked a 2 night stay and on the first morning I waited in reception for a long time for staff to show up. I asked to be moved to the guest area instead of the noisy staff area. The receptionist told me it was my fault because I’d selected a ground floor room with my online booking. She insinuated that I was poor and obviously not able to pay for a higher room and therefore deserved the noisy and staff corridor. I insisted on a change of room and left the hotel for the day’s activities. It took them many hours to get back to me to say it would an extra $60 to move to level one ‘but the room would be the same’, just on level one. I was out for the day so couldn’t view the area. I didn’t feel like $310 per night was viable so asked them to cancel the night and refund me. I’m still waiting for the refund. The most disappointing part of this is the attitude of the staff. They had no regard for my concerns and no ability to manage my complaint or request for a change of room. They just insisted it was my fault for selecting that room. Their website certainly does not describe it as a noisy staff corridor across from the housekeeping and reception hub. In addition, the room was musty and damp (obviously not used often). The pillows were dirty and one had someone’s else’s makeup marks on it. They had shoved an extra bed in the room, meaning there was no couch as per the online picture of the room I selected. This meant no bedside tables or access to PowerPoints. There was no privacy from the street. When you opened the curtain, the cars and people outside looked straight into seeing you in bed or getting dressed. The TV is ceiling mounted to damage your neck. The online photos showed a business desk for work which I needed. It didn’t exist either. I was prepared to overlook all of this, but the noise and staff movements outside the room was unacceptable. Avoid this hotel and their lack of care at all costs.

Place is within walking distance to all restaurants and the beach. Booking process needs to be looked at as I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to respond to my call after I was given a wrong Pin to access the key. I found it a bit weird that the microwave and fridge were in the bathroom but its minor and i could live it that.

Whilst recommending La Vida On Anzac recently to an interstate couple, I realized that I had not submitted a review for this excellent establishment. My wife and I took out a 6 month lease to enable us to purchase a local property at our leisure. The second floor, 2 bedroom apartment was perfect with two balconies facing north and west. The apartment was clean, neat and tidy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. La Vida's location is unbeatable. It is located across the road to a local mall including a Woolworths supermarket. Another minutes walk puts you on the beach and the entire range of restaurants and shops on the main Redcliffe esplanade. One of the unforgetable aspects of a stay at La Vida is the wonderful, friendly hospitality of the managers and staff. Having such comfortable accommodation with friendly hosts made the relocating to the city from the country a stress-free exercise. We have been recommending La Vida ever since we left. Staying at Oaks Mon Komo was a very easy experience from us booking online, we received prompted confirmation of our booking and other holiday information. On arrival the receptionist where very efficient and welcoming and collecting the keys and parking vouchers when very quick, we requested other parking vouchers for our friends who were staying with us but arriving later and this was no problem at all. Our room was very spacious and well-appointed with everything we needed. The views were awesome. The outside space was a bonus, we spent most of our time during the day and evening there enjoying the fresh sea air and views. We had everything at a short walk distance, and after a busy day out and about we slept like babies. We will be back to stay when we need to stay on the peninsula again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

Our 3rd time staying in this fabulous location, apartment with exemplary customer service at all times. Nothing too much trouble. Great celebration for my husband's milestone birthday. Close to great restaurants, beach, cafes, general shopping, supermarket. We loved it yet again and will be back. Apartment immaculate and well presented.

I had an excellent four night stay at Ainslie Manor. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very well equipped with little added extras such as a wine/ beer opener and very nice bathroom products. The balcony was very comfortable and a great place to rest up with great views of the pool which I used every day of my stay. Situated very close to all amenities. The host Lynne, was very helpful in answering my email queries and extremely kind as she took and dropped me off at the train station at the end of my stay. I would highly recommend Ainslie Manor as a place to stay.

We stayed 5 nights over Christmas in a 3 bedroom apartment . The room we were given slept 6 people but seating in the lounge was a 2 seater sofa ! The kitchen was poorly equipped (I don’t expect coffee machines but I do expect enough plates for everyone and basic utensils like a spatula) , one room stunk of pee. The main bedroom had 2 single beds which was bizarre - they had single headboards so looked like they were not meant to be pushed together .We changed rooms which was better for the last 4 nights . The carpet was disgusting, which we were advised of as apparently it was about to be replaced , but at least we could all sit together on a sofa in the lounge and the kitchen was better equipped.

Saw on FB hotel bistro has been renovated & menu revamped soo decided to try it. Turned up with no booking on a Saturday night and it was busy. Outdoor area has nice seating and small area dedicated for children play (slide etc) and several families using it. Indoors bistro is clean, well spaced tables, warm welcome and waitress found us a table. Menu has lots of choices and price ranges. Order via QR code or at bar. I ordered via QR code which was easy to navigate & friend chose the bar option. We all had the roast dinner (seniors $17:90, non seniors $22:90), Coke Zero ($5:50), friend had different wines. Food arrived quickly, good portion and nicely presented. Meat was cooked well as were potatoes & pumpkin, other veg slightly over cooked but I prefer al a dente. Definitely will go back

Loved this place, reception staff are always so nice the rooms are that of close to a 5 star rating the only reason it’s not a full 5 star is the pool is small and no gym facilities etc but rooms with spa in them are amazing will definitely be back!!!
