Nice view and Cocktoo coming to welcome us. There are plenty of free car park at back of the hotel, don't nees to pay $30 for the hotel parking

Pre booked (room 12 car park view) over the phone / $160 night (2 night stay). We were arriving on a Sunday where the reception is closed, so accessed our room key via a key safe (simple to use). We chose a car park view since we only used the motel to sleep. Room: Pretty small / tight for space around the bed. Limited storage space. Balcony area over looking the car park - noisy when people came and went. Large fridge in the room - too big really, as a smaller bar fridge would take up less space. Lamp by the bed side, but no plug socket. No washing up liquid for the cups provided. Comfy bed. However, there were display cushions and runner with stains on. Full length mirror. Bathroom: Small!! Shower curtain made the shower feel very tiny. Poor flush on the loo. However - a nice stay which we would use again. Decor pleasant.

2nd visit, 2night stay at this property. Found the room good for a short stay, very centeralised to everything in the area. It Did the job. Easy to get to. First morning had housekeeping knock on door to clean up room while we were getting ready for the day. Dont know if they didnt know we were staying 2 nights instead of the 1. We were lucky we had chain on door. On site thai restuant was good. Didnt have to go far for dinner. However it did change hands / name change since last visit. Down side is that the Room this time didnt have a dvd player in it. Purchased cheap 1 from jb hifi. The room doesnt have a microwave either to heat up left over food if needed to. Lastly, beds can be more comfy. Single bed in twin room was bit hard to sleep on due to the steel frame it was on, and a bit too high as well. Was more comfy on the double bed with the friend i was with to watch tv. (He didnt mind) Also, price had gone up a little as well since last visit.

When booking was told only one room left King Ocean view at $275 !!!! a night Advertising says stunning Ocean views True if u can see the ocean thru the massive trees right in front of the Balcony Certainly not clear Ocean view and as time goes on the view will be more restricted Don’t know who owns the land the motel or council If council then the motel should be asking for some pruning or indeed get rid of them If the motel own the land then change the advertising because it is not stunning views if u have to Bob down or up to see the wonderful view The Motel is old old old The room does not provide plates etc only some useless wooden knife fork The reason I was told Everything removed due to covid and now there is a rest But only open for dinner Wed to Sat so ??? Not even a tea towel in the room The fridge was one of those absolute mini jobs about 40cm x 40 cm very very small and fits virtually nothing Kitchenette very small. . Balcony extremely narrow two people can’t pass and u can sit but can’t stretch out Some carpet stains to The air con one of those old big in the floor Jobs very noisey but have to say it did cool well if u can stand the noise The pluses yes u can walk to the water The room was clean linen bed no problems all very good. Overall found it very old very expensive and the in room facilities such as plates steel cutlery etc should be a given Luke so many Motels around Aust now this one needs some updating

Excellent stayed 3 days every week for 8 weeks. Stayed in different rooms - each one excellent, size, amenities, cleanliness, bed could not have been happier. To have a kitchen - microwave, stovetop, washer/dryer, good size fridge was great. The staff, were polite, courteous, and fun. Housekeeping - Excellent - always with a smile. 2 x Bottles of Water upon arrival - much appreciated Walking distance to Restaurants, Cafes, Beach, Walking paths and Crown Central. Car parking was at the back, easy to access. Would I stay again Differently 5/5 stars

Booked this online, and although not cheap was very good. Roomy lounge /dining/kitchen area, and doors onto a spacious balcony. Bedroom good, also with door onto the balcony. Bed very comfy, and the shower was really good. Bathroom had a bath & separate shower and the toilet was totally. separate. Very quiet street, with about 700m to the beach & port, nice walk. Parking was very good, undercover & secure and FREE. Would be better if the toilet had a small hand basin, otherwise have to go into the bathroom to wash hands. Laundry was tucked away in a hall cupboard, was great to use. Really enjoyed the stay there.

Room is small but functional. Issues with the widows, which is great they can open, but unable to fully close so there was a whistling noise. Bed isn’t great. Location is great for the city. Rooms are not soundproof so other doors slamming can wake you up. Also noted it’s near the Police station, so the occasional siren can be disturb sleep. This hotel used to be Ibis Wollongong, but now charges a lot more for a room which isn’t great

Booked for convenience to family. The rooms have been renovated and are exceptionally nice. Very clean and tidy. For two people the bedroom was just big enough with everything we needed. Most happy with comfort of the bed and pillows (which were just right!). We usually have an issue with enough electrical sockets due to phone charging, cpap machine etc (normally we take a power pack and extension lead).... but they have given each side of the bed two sockets AND a phone charging usb port in the middle. The bedside lamps are wired separately. Most impressed! Breakfast was supplied as a pack with milk, cereal and plastic container and wooden spoon. Tea and coffee making facilities with fridge in room. Hairdryer available from reception but I always take my own. The bathroom was spacious with a rain shower head which I didnt want to leave. Very well designed and decorated. Air conditioned with dark blind. Only downside (if it is really) is that being a pub they have music on (we stayed on a Saturday night). We expected that might be the case and you could hear muffled music upstairs but 10.30 on the dot it finished so we had a perfectly quiet nights sleep. Only downside would be for someone who could not navigate the stairs as there is no elevator. So good were staying again this weekend!

Very spacious, clean and comfortable room with comfortable bed and quality bed linen. Close to all amenities and shops. Secure On-site parking easy to access. Very easy place to stay. Pleasant staff - would happily stay again
