BBirgit GWow....I was not sure about this place as we are not religious but we are so happy we stayed here. There is a wonderful history and there is no religious push whatsoever. As a retreat it would be perfect as there are plenty of activities and yet there is a peacefulness here. Despite not speaking French, we were warmly welcomed and together we muddled through our reservation. Our room was basic but provided everything necessary and it was meticulously cleaned. For TV watchers, please note that there is no television but the room has free wifi and ports built into the bedside lamps as well as the desk provided. There is a refrigerator in the room as well. The bed was very comfortable and we were also able to open the windows. This was an excellent stay despite not seeing the grounds as much as we would have liked due to the weather. The history of this place alone, was worth the visit.

PPengguna TetamuMes attentes étaient élevées pour cet établissement qui en principe est un des plus luxueux des environs. Séjour en décembre : la piscine et le restaurant de l'hôtel étaient fermés. Impossible d'utiliser la table de pool. L'agente à l'accueil a été cordiale mais de niveau agente de stationnement. Elle était là pour donner la clé et faire payer la facture, et non pour donner un service accueillant comme on s'attend à ce type d'endroit. On m'avait mentionné qu'il était possible que la piscine ouvre dans les jours à venir, mais j'ai appelé récemment (soit 3 mois après mon séjour) pour réserver en avril et on m'a dit que c'était toujours fermé. Les employés donnent l'impression qu'ils n'ont pas besoin de clients. Avec tous les services fermés en décembre, on ne m'a jamais offert une réduction, rehaussement ou autre. Et lors de mon appel récent, j'ai demandé s'il y avait un forfait ou une quelconque réduction et la réponse a été ”non” sans aucune autre interaction. Je souhaitais donner une seconde chance à cet établissement mais j'ai réservé ailleurs. La chambre était OK, mais de niveau standard sans plus. J'aime St-Félicien et ses habitants, mais l'hôtel en question n'est pas à la hauteur. Il est bien situé et l'édifice semble en bon état. À mon avis, il serait approprié d'investir dans la ”formule” et de travailler sur les aspects qui permettrait de redonner à cet hôtel la réputation qu'elle avait à ses débuts.
