Rooms are nice and spacious. Fridge and microwave are in room which was a nice touch. Friendly front desk and maid staff.

This Hilton Homewood Suites hotel stay has been incredibly disappointing. The cleanliness is subpar, there's a persistent unpleasant odor, and the customer service is severely lacking. The pillows and sheets emit unpleasant smells, and the sofa bed is not only dirty and smelly, but also repulsive. The mattress on the sofa bed appears to be decades old, with springs protruding uncomfortably. Despite bringing up these issues to management three times, no action was taken to address them. On one occasion, a front desk staff member even claimed that all rooms are equally problematic, leaving me stuck enduring these conditions for nearly 8 days.

The Good: WiFi and hot water worked well. Bathroom functional although shower leaks onto the floor. Bonus that there was a handicap grab bar. Quieter than one might expect even on the highway side. Adequate number of electrical outlets. Nice bed linens and towels. No insects. The Bad: Bed and couch both well past retirement stage, very saggy and quite uncomfortable. Kitchen not stocked with the items it was supposed to have. A request for the saucepans and frypan that were supposed to be supplied with the room took many tries and several days to arrive. Due to the problems getting the pots, we went out and purchased the other needed items. Little control of room temperature, always cold. One TV worked, the other didn’t possibly due to the remote. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, and only a small opening at one window meant it stayed damp in the unit. Black deposits on the ceiling near the air outlets. Mold? Key cards needed frequent replacement. The Nasty: Very dirty carpet. Based on the amount and variety of hair and glass on the carpet this unit hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a long time. Cigarette smell and visible ash on the carpet, in a room advertised as non smoking. Overall not up to standards, IHG hope you do some secret shopping.

We recently stayed there for 4 nights (Fri-Mon), and for the entirety of our stay, housekeeping did not clean our room one time! for the first 2 days (Sat and Sun) we had a knock on the door before 9AM. For a weekend, that seems to be rather early to attempt to start cleaning rooms. Either way, they never came back to clean our room later in the day. There were a few different times that I had to go to the front desk to reload on towels, and even had to get someone to reload the soap in the shower. Otherwise, the room was clean when we checked in, I was traveling with my wife and two small children, so it would have been easier if they had more space for working out of multiple suitcases, but oh well. The location was convenient enough for us, and the pool was good enough for our kids and never got crowded, but the lack of attending to our room, really caught me off-guard. I was just not expecting that and thought they would be more persistent correcting that, especially if I'm coming to the front desk multiple times in one stay to pick up towels. I would at least think they would wonder what was going on that I just kept needing more towels.

Easy check in. Called to let them know I was checking in late and they very quickly found my reservation and made a note. When we arrived the process was very streamlined and we were settled in our room with our dog in minutes. My husband had and nice sandwich at the restaurant. I noticed we were close to the elevator and we could hear the sounds slightly but we were not bothered by it once we fell asleep. The walls are well insulated because our dog did not hear sounds enough to make his bark which makes it easier for us to travel with him. Great sleep in comfortable bed with nice pillows and sheets. Extra blanket was great. Lovely bathroom and storage for clothes. Beautiful towels and supplies in bathroom. Nice sized sparkling bath tub. Comfy chair to relax in. Overall great place.

Our group has a charity lacrosse tournament every year and it was Toronto's turn to host this year. Glad that this hotel is the closest to the TRAC. Conveniently located just off the QEW but no rooms face that busy highway. Rooms either face the atrium (indoor pool) or parking lot. Don't worry about ice machine or elevator noise because there is a thick door that separates the rooms from them. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are spacious. And unlike most hoteks there is daily housekeeping without requesting. The in house restaurant/bar has great food (breakfast buffet was especially good. I thought it was pricey but then remembered it was in CAD so the price was quite reasonable). If you want to go out for food many options some walking distance. All employees I interacted with are great and cheery. They even let our large group assemble in the back of the parking lot so we did not disturb other guests. If you need to charge up your Tesla no worries - there are many charging stations. Thank you for everything.

This place has really gone downhill. Stains in the bathroom on the ceiling. The bathtub is extremely small. Rooms are outdated, and mattresses are hard. The pillows are comfortable. Wifi is not that great. The gym is extremely small with outdated equipment. The day staff is friendly. Parking is free.

They've hired quality people for the front desk who were all extremely helpful with any questions I had, day or night. Bathrooms are gorgeous, and the room and beds are good. Right next to some excellent shopping. Wendy's and Tim Horton's next door for late night food, though they have an excellent pantry for purchase. Pool is small but nice to have.

For under $100, my stay included freshly made breakfast and fast internet. I also liked: (1) Heater/AC unit works very fast, and super quiet whether it's low or high fan level: noise level feels like about 30-40dB. (2) There were many bright lamps (800 lumens), 4 USB outlets (2 at bedside, 2 on the desk lamp), 3 wall outlets near the shoe tray, a height-adjustable chair and plenty of desk space for work. (3) Coffee machine, fridge, hair dryer and shower hot water work very fast and quietly (4) Mattress is firm and duvet is light and warm. (5) Blinds and curtains are easy to use and keep lights out (no gaps) at bedtime. (6) Bathtub and hallways are clean and well lit. (7) Breakfast served well by staff. (8) Front hall hot water and coffee machines (regular and decaf) are well stocked. (9) Early check-in and late check-out available. (10) Location is easy to find and parking was easy and close to by. (11) Check-in and check-out process was safe and fast. (12) Front desk, kitchen and cleaning staff are all welcoming. Some items on my wish list: (1) The fridge is too small -- can't put in a 1L bottle water or medium pizza box. (2) The pillows are too soft. Memory foam ones would support my neck better. (3) The lamps use cool daylight colour light bulbs which are really hard on my eyes when I work. I'm used to bright and warm white light bulbs. (4) There is no elevator -- I didn't have luggage carts but my computers + briefcase were heavy.

This is a decent conference hotel. Lovely team on site, decent size rooms with a kitchen facility, and a really comfortable bed. The included breakfast is decent and nice choice (including some fresh fruit and porridge). We had some problems with our room but it was dealt with quickly and we changed rooms. It’s about 40 minutes west of downtown Toronto but easily accessible by taxi or the local (Clarkson GO) train station which is less than 2 miles away. The hotel has a 24 hour gym and a swimming pool (quite small but OK).
