Definitely not a Four Seasons experience (June 2024): The good: Excellent location. Management and staff were efficient and attentive. Security is excellent. María in reception and Freddy (staff) were especially helpful, their level of service and professionalism would be the only reason I would reconsider staying at this property. The staff go above and beyond. The bad: Looking at all the 5 star reviews, I see a lot of one-line reviews, so now I’m rethinking the legitimacy of these reviews. After staying in other FS hotels, resorts, this particular property felt a lot like a regular nice hotel with certain amenities. The building itself and lobby are definitely pleasant. I stayed four nights in an upgraded suite. Furniture was dated. Breakfast was not included even though I paid well over 2K. A couch had stains (this was fixed promptly). I understand some tear and wear is normal. Aside from the bed, it did not feel like I was staying at a Four Seasons. I think the potential to elevate the property standard is there, maybe their sister property in Bogotá is more on par with what people expect of FS. I switched to a Marriott property (not for these reasons), and in retrospect, I wish I had just booked the Marriott for my entire stay in Bogotá. Breakfast was included there, and the furniture was nice and the room seemed maintained.

Four seasons has 2 properties in Bogota. The landmark building was built in 1946. The decor, Art, furnishings give a cosy feeling of a home set in the mountains and you want to curl up and stay for a little while. I booked a Grand Premier Room through my Amex Platinum Fine Hotels+Hotels benefits which include: room upgrade when available, 12pm check-in, daily breakfast for 2, WiFi, late check out, $150 spa services credit. The hotel recognized all but the room upgrade. The room I booked was beautiful. With a fireplace which the hotel will light for you upon request. Large tool with a beauty seating are, wood floors, huge closets, and of course the Four Seasons bed and bedding. The kind you don’t want to get of on the morning. The only downside was the TEENY TINY bathroom! 2 people sharing is impossible as only 1 person barely fits at a time. Great water pressure in the very dark shower, and great products, but, uncomfortable bathroom with a window to the building next door. The room had no view either. An upgrade of same room with an actual view would have been wonderful and maybe a bathroom larger than a box. With zero counter space, which all women need. Maybe a shelf or cart of some sort would be good so as not to have everything falling in the sink because there’s no room on the bathroom counter. Toiletry amenities were standard for Four Seasons and expected. Turn down service was average nothing special. When it’s is exceptional, the housekeeping staff tidies up the room and your toiletries have a linen placed underneath and cords get rolled up, sometimes a eye glasses cleaner under your glasses or a jewelry pouch under jewelry. Little touches that say this is Four Seasons service and you are special. None this happened so it was average. Room was dark anyway for lack of view so not a difficult task to close drapes and turn down the bed. Breakfast buffet was incredible! The speakeasy in the basement had the best cocktails and ambience and I preferred hanging there. The courtyard with afire going was a great place to work and have a glass of wine or coffee. I enjoyed the spa and the staff in the spa. Enjoyed the area and coziness of hotel and staff. Would have enjoyed an actual upgrade and a larger bathroom but I will stay here again.

A grand old hotel in the heart of Bogota. Retains lots of character and charm. Good position for exploring the center of the city. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. We would recommend the excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel is single glazed and the noise of traffic is clear in the early morning especially. Not ideal for light sleepers. Some of the 'glory' is a little faded but we really liked staying here.

Usualmente no repito mi estadía en hoteles pero definitivamente repetiré mi estadía en este hotel. Me pareció muy seguro, la atención muy amable y profesional, y el servicio excelente. Inicialmente creía que no tenían muchas opciones de canales de televisión pero luego me di cuenta que tenían Netflix. Lo único que no me gusto mucho fue la ubicación del hotel, pero realmente es algo que no afecta la calidad del hotel.

Despite everything the agent could say, my experience was good, they received me with kindness and were very helpful at all times, the room I had was on the second floor but I was calm the entire time, the breakfast was very varied and Delicious, the staff tries to serve with great kindness, it has a cardio area and a Turkish bath, I did like it and I will return soon, the only thing is that they do not have constant security service, but nothing bad happened.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. Very much enjoyed the stay. It’s a large hotel. Location: A. We could walk to a few restaurants and was close to our office as well. Room: B I was upgraded to a nice large corner room for my Platinum status. Bathroom was nice and big with great water pressure. Bed was comfy. However the decor seemed a bit dated and not modern. Many JW Marriott’s have dated decor but was still a bit of a turnoff. Gym: B+ Decent size has a good selection of machines and weights. Needs more treadmills. Staff: A Everyone was super attentive, helpful and friendly thought out. Lounge: A Full breakfast and a made-to-order omelette station. If you can get access take advantage.

My stay was very pleasant and amazing at the same time! I have created a TripAdvisor page just to give all the credit to the one who most impacted my stay! THAT GOES TO EDWIN the Bartender at the beautiful cocktail bar in the lobby, yesterday was my last day at the hotel, my friends and I room 834, we were hungry and went out to eat but it was already late and all the places had been closed. We went at the bar in the lobby, where Edwin was working, but he was already closing his shift, Not only did he greet us with a genuinely smiling face, he also provided us with his full attention and amazing service!! Even though all the items were cleaned and already stored in the cabins, he took his time to take everything out and went above and beyond to make our drinks; apart of that, he also called room service for us and we were able to eat at the bar!!! He deserves a Raise!!! He stayed with us until late, put music for us, and we had a great time! THANK YOU EDWIN FOR MAKING OUR LAST STAY Such A MEMORABLE TIME!!! Please share this with him!!!
