The hotel is wonderful, I enjoyed a lot the breakfast. Rooms are very clean and cozy. There is a special zone for the children. The staff is extremely kind. If I go again to Copenhagen I will book again the same hotel. I highly recommend it to my friends

This hotel is in the middle of a sport complex next to the stadium with many sports associations in the same building. As I am not a sporty person, if I'd known that I wouldn't have booked it. The room was very basic. The bathroom smelt. The whole building was polished concrete with a drab finish. This hotel caters more for the sports rather than families or holidays. I ate in the restaurant which was unusual as half looked like a school canteen on one side and smarter on the other side. Although a buffet, and everyone was very friendly and polite, the food was good but very pricy. This is a personal view but this was not a good choice for me. That said, the clever camera angles and dressing of the rooms for pictures give a false impression

Lovely hotel, very nice staff, good room with comfortable beds, fresh clean decor, good shower. Free cocktail on arrival. Quiet district, calm atmosphere in the hotel. Near the train station, easy access to all the tourist atractions. Wild Horses cafe across the road for a cool vibe at breakfast (and much cheaper than the hotel itself). Would totally recommend.

As the title says, the only concern I had with this hotel is the staff. The rest was great for price and value. Because of very intimate reasons given by the loss of a very close family member, I thought I couldn’t go to Copenhagen to see a person I care about who lives there. So I called the a&o Sydhavn and tried to explain to someone who claimed to be ‘Dionas’ how delicate my situation was, asking not even for a refund; but at least which one were the options I had with the booking I had already made and paid for completely. His only answer was he couldn’t help me because I booked through Agoda and it was Agoda’s responsibility to help me, not theirs. I tried to tell him, due to the little time I had to take action, Agoda would not get my call at the time and that since the hotel is on a business with Agoda, it is not only Agoda’s responsibility to help their customers, but also a&o’s responsibility. At one point, stressed by his useless and definitely non-helping statements, I asked him to talk with an Hotel Manager or at least a superior several times and he told me he couldn’t let me, without giving me an exhaustive explanation to why he could not. Nearly at the end of the call, I was still insisting to talk with a superior and I started hearing various laughters in the background, which were clearly other people from the staff. I hope you guys had so much fun laughing about someone who suffered and is still suffering the pain of a suicide in his family and just asked to be helped, which should be your work. I’ve never had such an unpleasant and unprofessional experience before. I would definitely not rely too much on them. The only thing I can tell - which is positive - is that during my stay (I decided to go since I had no options for a refund) staff were nice and definitely different from who answered my phone call. This is to say that as long as you do not have any problem you need to solve, then the place is good. They’re good at giving you clean towels if you need them. Dionas, I don’t know if this is your actual name since how unprofessional you were. But anyway, I don’t want you to get fired. Just please grow up and learn how to work because you can never tell what someone is going through in their life.

Everything was great but except one thing. I know that room cleaning service would be applied only when I called. Although, I informed about receptionist, there was no any cleaning in my room.

Close to s bahn and shopping possibilities. Breakfast good, rooms small. Hotel service very good. Price and quality is good

My stay at Scandic Glostrup was ruined by a severe bed bug infestation, an ordeal that revealed a disturbing contrast in staff conduct. As a service engineer with over 18 years of experience and roughly 200 hotel nights annually, this was my first such encounter in a Nordic hotel, resulting in significant personal loss and distress. The sole bright spot was the hotel receptionist during check-out. Her helpful and caring demeanor provided a glimpse of proper customer service amidst this nightmare. However, this professional conduct was starkly overshadowed by the manager's shockingly inappropriate behavior. My urgent Friday morning email went unanswered until Monday, displaying a troubling disregard for guest welfare. Even more appalling was the manager's late-night email, rife with offensive insinuations. He had the audacity to suggest I remove my honest review and implied I might have introduced the pests myself. This attempt at victim-blaming was not just offensive, but entirely unacceptable for any hospitality professional. Adding insult to injury, he made an irrelevant comment about hotels not fining guests for bringing pests, further implying guest culpability. While a refund was eventually offered and a belated apology issued for the tone, the damage was irreparable. The chasm between the receptionist's professionalism and the manager's grossly inappropriate conduct highlights severe issues in leadership and guest relations at this establishment. Despite promises of improved pest control, I cannot in good conscience recommend Scandic Glostrup to anyone. The risk of enduring such an ordeal, coupled with this level of managerial misconduct, far outweighs any potential positives. This incident calls for a serious reevaluation of both their pest control measures and, more critically, their approach to guest relations, especially in handling urgent situations and respecting honest feedback.
