Hotel terbaik di Costa Calma

This hotel is about 45 mins drive from the airport probably 1 hour by coach. Great hotel, it is at the southern end of Costa Calma so little out of the way if you don't have a car, but taxies can take you into the town, not as there is a great deal there. Check in was smooth and efficient but we arrived separate from any coaches so not sure who quick it would be in you used the holiday company transport. The reception is on the 5th floor which is also the location of the main bar and lounge. Most of the rooms are down from this Our room was a junior suite with sea view very nice spacious actually a lot of it was empty space, the room sort of Pizza wedge shaped wide at the entrance and narrower at the balcony though still enough rooms for two loungers, two chairs and a table. Bathroom with walk in shower, reasonable amount of wardrobe space, as this was a suite there were two dressing tables so plenty of drawer space The room had a safe, a coffee machine with pods and a fridge in the room. Unfortunately, not a kettle so could not make tea in the room Beds were 2 large singles pushed together, good lighting in the room, a TV in the bedroom and the sitting room though we never used them. On arrival there was a litre bottle of water in the room, this was not replenished but there were machines at the bars and in the dining room that dispensed filtered water so not an issue. Food was generally good, food counters were not over loaded which means the food was regularly refreshed. Around the main dining room there were stations providing hot food cooked whilst you wait. Main courses were varied but the deserts were a little repetitive. In the dinning room after the first couple of meals we noticed that one corner seemed to be far better serviced than the rest of the main hall this was down to the person tending the table, Ibrahima he worked tirelessly was always pleasant and attentive. This was noticeable on the Thursday when he was on a day off then the service whilst still acceptable it was not quite to the same standard. We had booked all inclusive and please to find that drinks included a selection of international brands. The Pool bar served food through the middle of the day which was standard sort of fair. In the evenings there was music in the main bar from around 8 to around 9 or 9:30 mix reviews on this, some where good others not quite so. The pool bar had entertainment from around 9 until 10ish again mixed reviews, some we loved others where questionable. One big difference between the two bars in the evening. The main bar upstairs had plenty of staff and waiters where the pool bar tended to be undermanned and this meant quite a wait to be served at the bar. In a hotel where all the staff where always polite and helpful, as some have commented in earlier reviews the default language seems to be German but we never had a problem being understood speaking English. We have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday at this lovely hotel. We were so impressed with how clean and tidy the hotel and grounds are kept. All of the staff are so hard working and extremely friendly. There were very few English guests, which did not bother us at all - it gave my daughter a chance to practice her Spanish! The pool area was very nice, and there was never an issue with obtaining sun loungers, there were always plenty available. The food was also very good and there was certainly plenty of choice, and something for everyone. My daughters especially loved having fresh watermelon and ice cream every day! I cannot fault this hotel at all. The resort of Costa Calma is very quiet. If you are looking for a lively resort with lots of bars and restaurants, then you would be better going to Corrajelo. We only wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday so this resort was perfect for us. Thank you to all of the staff at the hotel for making our holiday so wonderful. We are already considering booking again for next year!

We booked a family room and arrived at the kids bedtime. On entering the room it was clear the sofa bed was unmade and no bed linen was provided. I phoned reception at 19.20 and 19.35 to ask for the bed to be made. Both times I was assured someone would be there immediately. After the second call I went to the end of the corridor and got a spare sheet from the linen trolley. I made the bed myself. Once the kids were asleep with the duvet from the main bed I left my wife reading and went for a run. At 20.40 when I returned from my run no one from the hotel had brought any further bedding. At the point I went to reception in person. The second duvet was brought to the room 5 mins later. This was disappointing service from a hotel with the assigned star rating and pricing. I was offered a complimentary breakfast in a bag which I declined due to check in early.
