Hotel terbaik di Autheuil-Authouillet

We made the mistake of arriving on a Sunday, thinking that as it had a bar and restaurant that they would be open. They weren't. I can only think that the three star rating for this place is due to the fact that they have such facilities. Pity they're closed at weekends. We had to drive a few miles to go to dinner on the town. We had to ring a phone number to be let in on arrival, which is not very welcoming. The hotel is in the middle of a tatty industrial park, and we did worry about parking our car there, but it was intact in the morning. We had a kettle in the room, but no cups or tea or coffee. The Receptionist provided cardboard cups etc upon request. The room was OK, basic, but we didn't pay a fortune to stay here. It was clean. Breakfast was a shambles. The Receptionist and a colleague were setting tables, but it turned out that they were setting them for dinner. As we went to sit down, staff removed placemats etc. Simple verbal communication would have been useful, there was no attempt to speak to us in French or English to explain what was happening. We managed to get the last couple of croissants and pieces of bread before they ran out at 8.30. Otherwise we would have had to manage with fruit, yogurts and ham. We did hear some people quite rightly grumbling about it. Upon departure, no-one asked us whether we'd had a pleasant stay, or even wished us ”bon voyage”. A man merely took our key from us with a ”merci”. Bottom line is, that I wouldn't stay here again. There is plenty of choice closer to Evreux.

Très bon accueil, lieu des agréable. Chambre correcte manque juste une poubelle car il n’y a qu’une petite poubelle dans la salle de bain, pas de cafetière ni bouilloire mais un bar et une fontaine à eau au niveau de la réception. Petit déjeuner correct par contre la personne qui s’en occupe n’est pas très agréable (à ces têtes) ne surtout pas lui dire qu’il y a des manques dans les produits proposés sinon elle vous en tiendra rigueur pendant tout votre séjour. Nettoyage des table qu’en fin de petit déjeuner. À vous de nettoyer les restes des autres. Lorsque vous arrivez.

Un hotel très agréable, en bord de Seine, où nous avons passé 4 nuits. Le restaurant est par ailleurs remarquable. Un conseil cependant, si vous comptez y passer plusieurs jours comme nous, il vaut mieux choisir une chambre supérieure. La chambre de base, que nous avions choisie, était très confortable et très propre, mais un peu petite pour un séjour de plus d'une nuit. Pour le reste, je conseille vivement cet endroit charmant.
