Hotel terbaik di Pintac

Booked in advance for my father and myself to stay in whilst visiting a stage of the Tour de France. No complaints about the location/rooms/carpark. Reception was fine upon arrival and no issues with payment booking breakfast etc. Getting a cold beer to sit outside was a little more of a challenge as the offered draught beer was 'unavailable' however no great loss. Dinner was awaited as we were pretty hungry after 7 hrs on the motorbikes, but oh dear what a car crash! The 'waitress' that was on shift was the most miserable/rude/obnoxious/ ignorant that I and my father have ever experienced, and we're both well travlled throughout Europe. Rude to the point of downright vile whilst placing our order, unpleasant in the way the literally threw the food/drinks on the table and basically needed removing from the business!! Kyriad we know you can do better, but for the sake of your business you need to sort out the 'large' middle aged woman that was on shift on Thursday night!! I'm sure you will serve up some platitudes in your response but I can personally assure you fellow travellers - beware of the the risk you take!! (Or equally a pleasant 20 minsute walk gets you to a superb French locals restaurant - L'AILE ET LA CUISSE) Don't risk your time here. Ps Breakfast was good and the girls on shift a pleasant start to the day!

En arrivant j'allume la tv qui ne fonctionne pas très bien, l'image est saccadée. Au moment de passer au lit, j'ouvre celui-ci et découvre des horreurs, des poils, des traces jaunes, je descend donc à la réception faire savoir mon mécontentement et le faire constater, de là, la personne de l'accueil m'explique que j'ai mal ouvert le lit et que ce n'est que l'alaise... PARDON, tout les draps ne sont pas changé entre 2 clients ? À une époque où les punaises de lit font l'actualité, je ne serai pas surpris d'apprendre qu'il y en a ! La chambre suivante idem, je me resouds à dormir entre les bons draps. Toute la nuit, il fait comme en plein jour, des lumières extérieures devant toutes les fenêtres sont d'une puissance à en éclairer la chambre même rideau fermé. Je pense que mon voisin de chambre doit être dans la même clarté, quand vers 3h du matin une forte odeur de cigarette m'interpelle. Bref, cet hôtel est pitoyable, surtout à fuir rapidement.

As other people have mentioned on here, Tarbes is not usually a destination (though we very much enjoyed our evening in this very friendly and somewhat old-fashioned city) and like others, we were also just passing through on our way to somewhere else and needed a last-minute overnight stop. We therefore considered ourselves very lucky to have found this hotel quite by chance. Yes, it's ”old fashioned” (but in the best way - owner managed and family run rather than staffed by others; beautifully-made beds with pure cotton sheets and a boutis quilt, all immaculately ironed and tightly tucked in; and YES the shoe polishing machine on the landing deserves its own mention!). However, the rooms have been fairly recently modernised - to French tastes, not yours or mine maybe, but they are super clean, spacious and very well-equipped with air conditioning, hair dryers, powerful shower, safe, fridge etc. The biggest selling point for us, though, was the owner, who grew up in the hotel when it was run by his mother, and whose warm and friendly welcome set the tone for a very happy stay. He is an absolute gem, and was full of local knowledge and recommendations. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a good choice of restaurants and bars, but even sleeping with the windows open, we were not disturbed by any street noise as another review mentions - maybe because our room overlooked the interior courtyard. Finally, one review mentioned the poor breakfast - well, by French hotel standards we found it fine, with juices, cereals, pastries, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit all on offer and in abundance.

Mucho mejor de lo que esperábamos. La habitación perfecta para lo que necesitábamos, con dos camas grandes para dos adultos y dos niños de 7 años. El baño estupendo, equipado con una moderna y relajante ducha. Lo mejor: el desayuno. Por 17 euros desayunamos los 4, mejor que los buffettes habituales. Todo riquísimo y de calidad, con la variedad justa. El salón acogedor y con música jazz de ambiente que hizo el momento especial. El recepcionista atento y amable, nos hizo una buena recomendación para cenar y nos permitió desayunar sin aviso previo. La localización en Tarbes estupenda. El precio muy aceptable. Sin duda una buena opción.

Chambre septième étage avec terrasse privée équipée d'un petit salon de jardin et une magnifique vue sur la ville et sur la chaine des Pyrénées . Quel beau moment que le coucher de soleil en direct !! La chambre est agréable, bien isolée du bruit , climatisation, salle de bain neuve et WC à part (un + apprécié) L'accueil est très bon, le personnel est attentif . Bravo nous savons où nous irons lorsque nous reviendrons à Tarbes !
