Fantastic service. Quaint rooms, comfortable beds and great breakfast. Owners went out of their way to get vegetarian alternatives, and were generally very welcoming and friendly. Affordable and close proximity to Canterbury City, would 100% recommend to everyone. Also a gorgeous dog on site!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and was impressed by the outstanding customer service. From the reception to the breakfast team, the staff provided warm and friendly hospitality. Special thanks to Murahi, Rohitha, Mellon, George, and Joel for their excellent service and for making my stay feel like a 5-star experience. I look forward to returning for another stay!

I booked one night here for my partner's birthday, which I booked through Secret Escapes. The check-in was easy, and we also got a welcome drink on arrival. We had a lovely time at the fire pit restaurant and a lovely breakfast at the Cowgirl. Still, there were a few things that needed improvement, particularly communication and customer service. Our booking faces us a £35 voucher each to redeem in the restaurant. When this was mentioned to the what seemed restaurant manager she loved at us both confused, anyway we ended up paying the full bill over £130. Upon our check out we explained this the reception staff who advised us to email the hotel manager, one week went by …no response. I copied in the restaurant, 2nd week… no response. Finally I copied in the general reception team … by the 3rd week with no response. Due to my working hours I have tried calling on two different occasions with no answer. I am extremely disappointed by the level of service I have received from this establishment What lengths does it take to spoke to someone about this matter? As a paying customer I value customer service and this place lacks it, I won’t be returning.

The room just been done up but very small with small double size bed. Bathroom is good. We stayed for 2 nights. We told the manager that it is too hot in the room, no air conditioning or fan. He said there’s nothing he can do. So I told him we have to open the window, but it will be noisy so said it’s not his problem. I also informed him that the window latch is broken. He said he will get the maintenance fix it that day. But when we came back it’s still broken. Spoke to him again and it was full of excuses that maintenance didn’t came back and no one to fix it. So we Went back to a very hot room and my friend fix the window latch with a twissors so we can have some air. We also notice that the extractor fan was not working. My friend found the switch. Turned it on. Breakfast- no one to greet you. So we thought we can seat anywhere as there were 10 sets of empty table. We got our coffee and tea ourselves. When finally someone comes out from the kitchen he told us off as we should only seat on two seater’s. When most of the guest are only in two’s. There are so many of them in the kitchen no one made us feel welcome or we are quests.

優點：房間乾淨、收拾及時。早餐不錯，且一樓餐廳的牛排味道可以 略貴。 缺點：沒有電梯。 不過英國這種老酒店有電梯的也少。
