Hotel terbaik di Covenham Saint Bartholomew

We have been twice this week for a meal for 2 separate birthday celebrations. Both times the service and food have been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. for the wonderful staff here. We had the Greek gyros. Gorgeous. Blade of beef. Succulent and tasty. Hot and tasty. Love the ambience of this venue. We sat outside for the first birthday. So lovely. This has been our 4th visit. Cant wait to come again. Lovely place to celebrate special occasions. Good menu. Coctails are lovely. Price is worth every penny. Many thanks. Beautiful location and especially friendly staff. Nice food and good drinks. We would always come back here.

The staff were friendly and the actual hotel was quite elegant. The grounds were amazing, and there were plenty of lovely places for photos with colourful flowers. We ate dinner in the hotel and the presentation of the food and the quality was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. The mushroom risotto wasn't quite as good as it had some crunchy bits of rice in it. It needed about 10 minutes longer on a slow heat, and then it would have been perfect; as it wasn't that hot either. This hotel boasts that it has a spa, swimming pool, and lots of different spa room experiences. Normally, when you use the leisure facilities connected to the hotel that you're staying in, they provide towels free of charge. Not this one. We walked over with our swimwear and room key card to be told that towels were £1 each. We explained that we didn't bring a wallet, money, or a phone to pay with. We asked if they could charge it to our room. They couldn't!! They said that you can use the one in your hotel room or walk back to the hotel reception and they'd give us them. Not helpful at all. Then, we went in to find the two foot spa's didn't work, and when I said it to the leisure centre manager, his reply was ' I know as I reported them last week'. But not a sign on them to say that they weren't working! Overall, the hotel needed a bit of a spruce up; but they made up for it with friendly staff. We paid to play a 9 hole game of golf and the staff in the golf shop was amazing.

This place (a terraced house on a back street) is close to the train station, clean, and a good size. We couldn't fault the property itself. You just collect a key from the main hotel across the road and off you go. Parking might've been difficult, (unless you can park at the hotel across the road) but we came by train so it wasn't an issue for us. However, we were on the ground floor at the front of the property and the noise travelled. My partner didn't sleep at all on the first night and wondered if the place was used by contractors, out late and up early. The shower was nice and hot and the temperature of the room was OK. Good to have an iron and ironing board in the room too. I liked the firm mattress but my partner found both mattress and pillows too hard. I kind of agreed re the pillows but it didn't stop me sleeping! When we visited, this was cheaper than the Premier Inn. The service just involved giving a key but it worked efficiently. I'm not sure about the services at the hotel. I'd definitely use it again.
