The property location was great, very near to the cliff, that's the greatest advantage. Rooms are just ok only. During our stay at night, we did face power failure intermittently and that was a big problem for us. We could not sleep well because of the intermittent power failure.

Highly recommended resort in varkala for budget friendly. Food was soo hygiene d and tasty too. The hospitality of staff was remarkable. Me and my family very much satisfied on this property. Mostly recommended for families for staying in this resort

Fantastic property with amazing service and well kept spotless. Location is fabulous but whats unique about this place is the atmosphere and ambience. Perfect place for those looking for a peaceful vacation. Attentice staff and food was outstanding in particular. The menu was extensive and we really enjoyed the fresh seafood and desserts. Try the tiger prawns and devils delight. Couldn't have asked for more!

Go to Nebo for the view. The rooms have a fantastic view of the sea from the cliff and it makes the stay worthwhile. However, the view is pretty much the only thing going for the hotel. The bathroom is dingy and I get particularly irritated at hotels who skimp on basics like providing a soap dish for the sink. The shower is slow so tough to get the sand off yourself each time you come back from the beach. The room is fine and spacious and the AC works. No fan in the room so you can’t really sit with the window open too long. I wish they took care of some simple things to make the average stay great.

The location is good the service of the front office can be better. Laundry service though available as per the chart has no confirmation of the time of return. Confirm the same. Resturant is moderately priced service is good. Dinner buffet not available. Sorry no photo's

Very good, professional service and worry free stay.
1. caretaker was very very friendly. He had called in advance to ask when we would check in, shared the number we can use in case of any need and also told us he will be out on the road if we need help to locate the property. we eventually did have to call him because the house is located beside a slope and it's from a level down to the road from the direction we came( the other side of the house it's located above the road). but as soon as we called he was out on the road and helped us. 2. One point to note is that we have to park the car on the road. The house required climbing stairs up/down, so we cannot take the car past the gate. 3. the bathrooms are very clean ( bathrooms are the biggest fear for me). Their shower was very very good and unlike most places in tvm located near the beach, the tap water was not hard water. it was soft. they have hot and cold water. Towels were also provided, so also soap and travel friendly size of shampoo and moisturizer.
4. you can hear the waves loud and clear. you can also see the waves from your porch etc. you can also see the Vizinjam mosque dome and minarets from he property. also the lighthouse is very close by and can be seen from the property. 5. The beach is super near. Everything is at walking distance. Breakfast offered was bread, butter/jam. so we opted out. Drinking water was provided. There are cupboards inside for storage.Chairs and a table too. There is a door between the bottom two rooms that can be locked or unlocked. Hence it's great for families security wise. Overall, it's reliable and worry free.

We stayed here in 2bhk apartment for 2 days during our kerala trip. This place feels like own home with spacious bedrooms, living and dining space and fully equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms. The building is new. Pros:
1) fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, dishes/cutlery and utensils to cook simple food items. 2) grocery/fruit shops nearby (2 min drive)
3) clean bathrooms with all modern fittings (except bathtub. 4) spacious bedrooms with clean beddings and ac. 5) all areas were sparkling clean
6) parking space
7) washing machine which comes very handy if you are on a long trip. 8) lift available. 9) good size balconies with fans and wooden chair tables. 10) just 2-3 minutes drive to varkala beach and 4 mins from black sand beach. 11) absolute privacy
12) helpful staff cons:
1) they should have an ro water purifier in the kitchen. Or, at least provide 20l ro water bottle for cooking purpose. That's a must at this price point. One should not be bothered to buy water bottles from outside to cook food. 2) i felt there was a little (barely noticeable) odour in the bathroom because the small exhaust was not sufficient and the type of windows they had couldn't be opened due to privacy issue. They need to fix the same. 3) this is not that near if you want to walk to the beach. May be 10 mins walk. But we had a car so it was perfect for me. Ps: not sure if they had iron or not, i had mine so i didn't bother to check.

Location is excellent. Services are poor. They told break fast was complimentary. But when we went for breakfast kitchen was not working at 8. 30 am. They didn't serve the break fast. Practically no guest in the hotel. Only two rooms were occupied i guess.

Кондиционеры, вентиляторы-все рабочее. Горячая вода тоже есть, нужно немного подождать, пока стечет. Есть холодильник (новый, без запахов) электрочайник, телевизор (мы его не включали, не знаем, рабочий или нет) . При заезде предоставляется мыло, зубная щётка, паста, расческа, шампунь. Все это в мелком формате. Обслуживание в отеле не хуже, чем в Европе. В любом вопросе, который возникал, помогали. Такого отношения к туристам давно не встречали. По Азии путешествуем уже лет 8, есть с чем сравнить. Этот отель лучший из тех, где нам удалось побывать. От пляжей далековато. До ближайшего пляжа идти минут 20. Но если брать мопед, проблем не должно быть. При отеле есть парковка. И круглосуточная охрана. Приехали в отель очень рано, заселение произвели без доплаты за ранее заселение. Завтрак: вегетарианский шведский стол. Наша оценка отелю и его персоналу 10 из 10!

PPengguna TetamuIt's a wonderful and amazing experience with this hotel and courteous staff. Me and my husband stayed in from 07 Jun to 11 Jun 2024. From the check in to Check out , we were fully taken care by the amazing staff.
Afsal is an amzaing staff witty, chatty and caring together with Devika (my favourite beauty Kutty) and Amuritha -they really took care of our food and being vegetarian -they offered the choices for the vegetarian food.
Chef Arun is a fantastic and caring person. He listened to our story and As my husband just completed the 24 days or Ayruveda treatment, he has to continuoulsy take his medication and kashyam which need to be brewed for the sometime. Chef Aurn took care of this and also Mahesh also managed this and send this to our room. Because of Chef Aurn's initiative, my hubby coninued his medication without fail. All of them are hospitable and really made us feel at home.
The room service is fantastic from providing necessities to water and replacing the spoilt safe. The 6th floor housekeeping sfaff (i cant remember his name but he's slim and had curly hair and very pleasant personality) is fantastic and took care to our needs.
My husband felt that he's in wonderland and as the jeanne in the lamp, you ask for something and your needs are fulfilled. They are very timely and fulfilling.
Last but not least, I would like congratulate the Hilton Garden's management for finely grooming your team and staff and step up the customer service towards customer excellence.
I wish everyone including the front counter staff, the security and guards best wishes and happy working in this fantastic customer oriented environment.

PPengguna TetamuVery good location, only 5 mins away from the main cliff. Clean rooms, and bathroom was decently maintained. There are not a lot of amenities considering that it's a homestay, so bring those items with you. But basic soap and shampoo was available. A kettle was there ***** with tea bags, etc. Breakfast was fine, for the price we paid. The caretaker jishu was available throughout our stay for any help. Extra bed was not available, but an extra mattress was given upon request. Don't expect an exquisite customer service because there are no trained hotel staff here. Only one caretaker is available for the full property. The main usp has to the proximity to the beach.

PPengguna TetamuThe Leela, Kovalam is an amazing hotel, which my 11 year old son and I would highly recommend! It is on a cliff top overlooking the Arabian Sea. We upgraded to Club Room, which provides you with access to The Cafe, a restaurant serving Club members complimentary breakfast 7-10:30am and High Tea 5-6pm and additional a La carts chargeable lunch and dinner. The Club room is exceptional, with a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the Arabian Sea, King bed with very comfortable mattress and bedding, fantastic walk in shower, sink and toilet, with all the toiletries. Rooms are cleaned well and the food is wonderful. We ate everything safely with no upset stomached here and the staff were wonderful! We would happily return!

GGavinAngOverall, I am happy to stay here throughout this one week simply because all the staff are super friendly. Greetings to me every day and smile all the time.
Only some personal comments regarding the hotel access card, no disturb/ clean my room card are not 5 star hotel standard.
Most importantly is the hygiene issues need some effort or improvement. The drinking water cap is dirty, the cup is dirty, the wall gets mouldy, etc.
Most of the food in the restaurant is not available. Advice to simplify the menu.
Gym facilities are old, some already spoiled and not fixing yet. No towel provided.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is good and the hotel is just fine. Need some renovation around the path leading to beach. ***y opt for this location for ease of access to beaches, if that is not maintained it will lead to disappointment.
The SPA is not per the expectation and the maintenance of the spa is very bad. Food is above average. The buffet breakfast is fine but lacks variety for those staying longer. Overall it was a good experience. The attender at the pool Mr. Babu is very good, he should be awarded for his fine service. Overall the hotel staff are polite and well ***nered and hear to our concerns.

The fragrant smell was too strong.
I booked hotel for few hours stay although I paid for a day. The main purpose was to take rest and have some sleep before my long flight
Unfortunately I couldn't get sleep because of an ongoing renovation work and disturbed my sleep.
Although the receptionist agreed to stop the work but it was too late. Rest all is OK.
Just check whether they are doing renovation work before you book

SShijin S ShajiThis hotel is definitely not a 4-star property as it claims to be. The rooms are surely clean and comfortable, but the positives end there. The service is absolutely appalling. I ordered a coffee but they failed to serve it even in one hour despite reminding them twice. Once after taking shower all the water were overflowing through under the door to bedroom. The breakfast was a joke. There was no buffet and there were only two options - Puri sabzi or toast! They didn't even have tea or coffee ready. After a couple of reminders they finally brought coffee. I gulped it down with a toast and hurried off to check out. Opt for this hotel if you get it cheap but don't be under the delusion that you'll get a 4-star experience!

-- HariharanFood is great. Wifi is weak inside the room and the restaurant area too. Shower has very slow water flow. I would recommend this place only if your booking a AC room. Non AC is not worth the money. It’s too stuffy without AC at night. Toilet area is clean. Cleanliness wise is good. Food is a must try from this location. Beach is like 5 min walk from behind the hotel.
