The hotel staffs were very welcoming and hospitality. We feel really good when we arrived at the hotel and even during departure. Breakfast spread was small but great. We had a warm and nice breakkie. The room is very cosy. The bed was very soft and springy! The blanket was just nice, very warm and comfortable. How we wish we could bring home. Haha. The price was also worthwhile. ✌🏻

I’m glad I didn’t read these reviews before we stayed. My expectations were met with anticipating a glamping experience- beds were comfortable, it was a novel experience! Bathroom had running water and shower was hot. Kids were thrilled with the uniqueness and this was one of the highlights of the trip for them! We didn’t see any staff but we didn’t need to as we were provided instructions on accessing the dome. We were able to check in early which was appreciated with the overnight flight. There’s a small mini golf and foot golf course which we were able to use based on staying in the dome. In the fridge was two sparkling waters, Pepsis and mini champagnes. Outside of our King suite we had a hot tub and there was a small barrel sauna out on the yard.

Guy and girl working inside here are good people doing their best. Premises are good But. WARNING!!!!: the owner is horrible. She has really bad business manners, generally puts her clients in very bad monetary situations sometimes (check here and TripAdvisor for these reviews and you won't choose to book here I'm sure, I wish I had done that) Om my arrival day I was locked out at 2.30 am because the hotel didn't send the entry code to me and THERE WAS NO EMERGENCY NUMBER TO CALL. If says on the website after 21.00 you check in with a code. But no code in my email. I had to pay over 200€ total extra to go to another room, by taxi. Since I had an E-sim I could Google for a taxi and call via Skype luckily because the streets were empty and no public wifis. Standing in arctic winds alone in Iceland! All the hotel's fault. She tries to tell me I should have emailed them about a late arrival which there was NO INFO about in the confirmation and generally just blames me for the whole situation when clearly its the fault of the hostel. Horrible owner. She could have given me a refund for the first night as I politely asked but she refuses and simply blames me and *******. Horrible manners not caring about anything except some 50€ for 1 night Please use your money better and book B47 bus hostel instead-much better people working there, perfect for all excursions and transfers etc. Maria in B14 does not take care of the guests if something happens so better to go to a different place to avoid being treated horribly losing your money. So go to B47 instead.

Très bien situé, manque un peu de place pour se garer. Mais avec un peu de patience on y arrive. Juste un bémol sur l'insonorisation des chambres, les portes qui claquent toute la nuit.

Check-in was pretty smooth. I was allocated the room just above the main entrance as such, it can be quite noisy whenever people get in or out of the hostel with the door slamming and some vibration felt! The bathroom and wc are fairly clean and tidy. Very cosy common area to mingle and make new friends. Kitchen has all the basic necessity. I especially like the small area right outside my room where i can have a light meal and nice view of the surroundings. Bought the unlimited bus rides ticket via the Klappid app for travel within the Reykjavik capital city and bus svc 12 is just few steps away. If time permits, you can even walk to the coastal area for sight-seeing. Overall, i am very satisfied with my 8 nights stay at Laekur hostel!

This was our first stop when we arrived in Iceland and this was our last at the end of our holiday. It was a great place to get us to get ready for our road trip. The location is in the quiet of the suburbs with very easy access to Perlan and the city centre. The room itself is nice and big, very modern, spacious, and colourfully decorated. The room came with a microwave, cutlery, pots, kettle, dishwasher, stove top, and Smart TV. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had fluffy towels. Grocery shop (Bonus) located across the street for those who are self-catering. There was plenty of parking outside for our rental car. We had cause to call the apartments before we arrived, and they were super helpful and confirmed by email within the hour. The apartments are also situated to provide easy access back to the airport. Very reasonably priced by Icelandic prices, especially as they are in the suburbs of the Capital. Overall, very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Great location just outside the city which made it easy to access highways to travel. Very clean. Spacious. Amazing quick response from management whenever we had questions. We were able to check in early for a minimal fee as our flight arrived in the morning Highly recommend

We had a wonderful few days in Iceland and thought this was a great place to stay. It is a little bit out of the centre (although we enjoyed our walk into downtown Reykjavik and back), but both the two fantastic tours we went on picked up directly from our hotel. Comfortable room, lovely view, friendly and helpful staff and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet! It's close to the Botanic Gardens, which we enjoyed visiting and we were really lucky with the most beautiful weather (with added bonus of the Northern Lights!). Thank you for a lovely stay.
