The room environment was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen for cooking. Check-in was convenient, and I most enjoyed the scenery in the surrounding area, which felt like a world unto itself. It allowed us to spend an unforgettable day in Iceland.

非常好的酒店，優秀的位置，公共區域很大而且有很温暖的感覺。房間是我們冰島行程中住的最大的，可以很輕鬆攤開2個箱子。對面就是燈塔，天氣晴朗可以直接從窗户看極光（海景房間可以，另一面會有機場的光污染）。酒店到機場開車10公里，會路過一個小鎮。

Hotel location is ideal as I have a midnight arrival and instead of coordinating with the hotels in city for “early” check ins as some hotels don’t. Aurora hotel was ideal to settle for the night especially with my 35 hours journey from Asia to Iceland. Perfect place. Simple breakfast spread with some hot food like scrambled eggs, baked beans, toast and cold cuts.

酒店各方面都還好。離機場的距離比較尷尬，衹有1、2公里，卻無法走路過去，因為沿途沒有人行道，走過去不安全。沒有機場穿梭班車，也沒有公交車，衹能坐出租車。酒店倒是可以幫忙聯繫出租車，也明碼標價。酒店的餐廳價格較高。 酒店的地點比較偏僻，旁邊雖然有個小村落，但是也要走上半個小時才能到，不知道是不熟悉還是怎樣，我們在那裡沒有找到便利店或者超市，走到海邊看到幾個餐廳，也都沒有開着。 總之，如果為了轉機衹是住一晚，還可以湊合，如果有一個白天或需要住兩晚，最好還是找個城裡的酒店。

Spent our first night when we arrived in the midnight. The hotel is only a few minutes' drive from the airport. It has good size room and free coffee/tea throughout the day. We had a morning walk around the hotel and it was pretty nice and safe.

This hotel is very clean, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. It is situated on a little harbour and we had a nice room with a harbour view. There is a restaurant attached and the food was excellent. My only issue is that it is about a 10 min drive from the airport and the taxi ride one way was 42 euros which translated to $136 Canadian dollars round trip, that was a bit of a sticker shock for a 10 min ride (20 min total).

Where do we start? How can we communicate the magic of this B&B. It was so easy to communicate with Andi and Yuki. We got pick-up service and it was wonderful to be greeted by Yuki at the airport. It is a very short drive to 1X6 and Andi showed us everything we needed even though it was past midnight. The room was wonderfully unique, as are all the rooms. Yuki's homemade chocolates were on our little table, sweetly welcoming us. The bed was extraordinarily comfy! In the morning we had the best breakfast we'd had in ages! Yuki's cooking is fantastic. Andi and Yuki have created an oasis of beauty, originality, and warmth. We were treated so kindly and will never forget our time at 1X6. We will return! Thank you Andi and Yuki!
