The location of the hotel is twofold - not in a very tidy area, but that's not the hotel's fault, but it is only a 10 minute walk to the port to catch a ferry to the Isle of Capri and there is a supermarket (with alcohol) just around the corner). It's a large hotel, with a huge foyer/lobby, which houses the reception area, a lounge (with a large TV), a bar and two central lifts - two lifts in a hotel; what a bonus!! The total area had retro furniture, but it was a little sterile, perhaps too cavernous and the bar was only open for limited hours. Notwithstanding that, the accommodation was good. A large room, comfortable bed, good shower, although perhaps the bathroom was a little small in proportion to the room, air con, safe, fridge and free wi-fi. No complaints whatsoever. The breakfast room/restaurant is on the top floor with a great view over the port and the Tyrrhenian Sea and on a clear day, you can sea Capri. It is an enormous room with some very large, round tables, which is great for a group of people to converse with each other, but with 14 and 30 seats respectively, perhaps just too big. Breakfast was good for cold options, although no orange juice or decent bread for toast. Our tour included dinner in the restaurant as well and that too, was very reasonable. All in all, a good stay for two nights.

I had a stay here for a few days and really enjoyed it. The hotel was really clean, the bedroom was a good size, and well equipped. The food was delicious and the evening menu changed every day. Wonderful roof terrace with great view! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and really made the trip. If I were staying in the area again I'd definitely go back.

The hotel is marvellous. The staff were all eager, polite, and kind - that's reception, cleaners, and hospitality. I couldn't fault anybody. The room was excellent with a great shower room and gorgeous balcony. I asked for a kettle and it was promptly provided. The hotel is clean and beautifully-decorated with a magnificent, bright foyer. There is outdoor, al fresco-dining. The dinner menu is sparse, but a similar price to a restaurant and good food. There is a decent variety for the buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, some fruit, and a selection of cakes. The hotel is situated halfway round the bay from Napoli and up a steep hill, on Vesuvio. Therefore, you will either require transport or be a fit walker. The railway station is down the hill and buses are rare, as are taxis, and stop at 10pm. The train into Napoli takes 25 minutes. Tickets are €2.6 each way. Take care of valuables on the train. 굿굿 베리굿. 침대에 앉아서 저 멀리 쏘렌토와 카프리섬이 보인다. 바로 앞 해수욕장이 있고 저녁이 되면 푸드트럭이 온다. 이탈리아 현지인들만 오는 숨겨진 명소다. 모든 직원분들은 친절하고 방 청소도 매일 해준다. 방은 크고 넓다. 조식은 무료지만 메뉴가 다양하진 않다. 옆에 작은 테마파크가 있는데 주말저녁마다 문을 연다. 주말 저녁에 이탈리아인들이 젤 많다. 해지는 바다가 정말 아름답다. 다만 자차가 없다면 이동이 좀 힘들다. 기차로만 이동해야되는데 기차역에서 걸어서 15분정도 걸린다. 도보가 잘 안돼있어서 걷기엔 좀 별로다. 렌트하는걸 추천. 바로옆에 괜찮은 마트도 있어서 좋았다. 인터넷이 조금 잘 안 된다.

Looking to do some sight-seeing in southern Italy near Napoli? Hotel Puntaquattroventi fit the bill perfectly. We were two families of four. We have four boys between us (ages 8 - 15). We were traveling to Napoli & to Pompeii so Ercolano was perfectly positioned in-between the two. Here are the highlights: - The Parking: Included and very accessible. I don’t recall there being a valet but it was steps from the front door in a gated lot. If you have a car, you just pull right in on arrival. - The Rooms: For a family of four, it was good because we could get two queen sized beds and a large bathroom with a balcony overlooking the ocean. One thing to note here: the rooms, as is the entire hotel, were a bit dated. I’d describe it as a very well kept 1980s Miami vibe. Ultimately, every thing was clean and comfortable. - The Pools: There are two salt water pools (one indoor and one out). The indoor pool is olympic sized. Also note the the facilities are used by the community. I think there is a local swim team that practices there but it was never a problem. It sort of added to the atmosphere because the place was all inclusive but you were still around locals. My kids are swimmers and it kept them amused our entire stay. - The Beach: The beach was steps from the outdoor pool. You have to walk down some stair, but it is passable. The beach is a quintessential Naopolitan beach. It’s rocky but they had ample lounge chairs and umbrellas. They even had a covered lanai to get out of the sun. (Both the pool and the beach are almost a must if you are doing a walking tour of Pompeii in July.) - The Food: The breakfast was a buffet and included in our room fee. It was both savory & sweet with pastry & cured meats. Fantastic. The restaurant was great for dinner. All dining areas are on outdoor balconies and have amazing waterfront views. There is also a full service snack bar by the pool that is reasonably priced. Truthfully, we stayed there for four nights and barely eat off the grounds during that time. - The Staff: Knowledgable & courteous (i.e. - They suffered through my very poor Italian but also spoke English when needed : ) - The Price: Considering all it included, it was very reasonable. Ultimately, I decided to write this review months later because I keep thinking back to how amazing it was. I’ve been to Italy several times both alone & to visit my Italian family. This was the perfect place to build in some R & R on a trip that was very busy. I would definitely go there again.
