This was amazing place, even despite coming in October during rainy season. Service was exceptional from the begging- person awaiting us on the airport, speed boat transfer late evening, with nice welcome and service (water/towels/wifi) We arrived late evening, so dinner packages were ready in the room. All Incl package was nice however we missed some food in between breakf-lunch and dinner. Issue is wifi which was not working properly/everywhere. Normally i think its ok as we do not need internet on such vacations, but as we needed to work one day it was hard. Again anyways. Great service. Hospitality of staff in restaurant and bar too. Also reception who gave us a chance of later checkout. It was very convenient as we travelled with 2yrs old toddler. Room was spacious, kept clean every day properly + water bottles delivered daily. Good snorkling trips for free provided daily.

Definetely recommend to everyone to stay. Room was wide and comfortable. Ocean is incredible with turquoise color. Staff was friendly and helpful. Many kind of food was delicious. Trip.com provided the cheapest reservation option for us. So thank you all for this lovely vacation.

Life becomes boring and usual after coming back from Maldives TAJ CORAL stay, we stayed for 4 nights with my two kids ,had a beautiful family holiday ,we stayed at the water villa ,during our stay the sea was a bit rough so we didn't use the water villa for snorkeling instead the beach villas were more appropriate as our friends were staying at the beach villa, we had also taken all inclusive Packages so we didn't had to pay extra at the resort only the water sports activities were charged but snorkeling gears were provided free so that was nice ,food ,the bar ,the swimming pool and all other leasure activities wete topnotch, we had a wonderful stay and will surely recommend.

24th October 2024. Just returned from 2 weeks at Eriyadu where we had a fantastic break, and as many reviews have already mentioned the rooms are a little tired, the restaurant is OK although the food could be warmer and can be a bit repetitive, the entertainment is fairly basic, often it’s the staff singing, hosting the quiz, or conducting the karaoke. The Euro Dive Centre is a must, I did a couple of their trips with Esta who has a marvellous knowledge of marine life due her being a Marine Biologist, and the house reef which is absolutely stunning. A special mention for a couple of the staff who we encountered, Abil who cleaned our room, lovely guy with a great attitude, in the restaurant Nuzufy, Opo, Uimesh, and Ijlal, all looked after us amazingly. Now the reason why we didn’t give a 5* rating, there is some building work in a couple of locations taking place on the island, all day the noise was very loud as they seemed to be using a concrete breaker to remove the existing floor, this came a head when after returning to our room at about 8:45 pm to find the work in the beach front villa next to ours was still going on. I called reception to enquire as when the noise was going to stop, unfortunately the noise in our room was so loud reception rang off as they couldn’t hear me speaking over the noise. One more attempt to speak to reception failed, thus resulted in me having to go to reception. I asked what time this noise was going on till, they were unsure, I asked to speak to the manager, he wasn’t available, I waited a few minutes and reception informed me the manager had been contacted and was looking into it. As I was returning to the room I came across 2 members of staff a short distance from our room, one was discussing something on his phone, as I approached he wander off towards the building work, I did ask if they were managers, which they were, the other one explained that they were speaking to the overall resort manager and the work would be stopped, it did at about 9:40 pm. The following morning the Resort Manager did come to speak to us and was very sincere in his apology and offered for us to change rooms, which declined as the room we had without doubt had possibly the best views around the island. He also said that the working that late had not been authorised, and assured us that all building work would now only take place during “the agreed times of 08:00 ~ 18:00”, this was a bit of a suprise to find out the was an agreement in place for the work to be taking place at all. We contacted Blue Bay Travel who we had booked with asking why we weren’t made aware before we booked of the agreement that work would be taking place during our stay, after a couple of further emails to & from Blue Bay they informed us they were unaware of the work taking place, but would get back to us as & when with an update, that was 7 days ago, still no update. From start to finish our experience at the Oblu Sangeli was incredible. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and it was everything we could have wished for and more. We stayed in the water villa and it did not disappoint. The room was beautiful and the access to the lagoon was amazing. It was great for snorkelling and had plenty of corals where we saw baby sharks, manta rays and lots of colourful fish! We embarked on the turtle snorkelling trip and saw many turtles which was wonderful! The buffet was great and we appreciated that they changed the dishes every day so you had a variety to choose from. A huge thanks to Chef Rahul who not only made excellent Indian food for us, but also became a good friend and was always so kind to us. Another big thanks to the waiter, Yathrib, who was so friendly and attentive to us and gave excellent service. This really made our experience even better. We also really enjoyed the fine dining experiences included in the Serenity plan. Both restaurants (just grill & just wok) served delicious food and a nice view of the sunset. A highlight for us was the pool as it was right next to the ocean and the view was incredible. We loved the slide leading into the ocean, that was a vey unique touch for the hotel and lots of fun at the pool party too and recommend you throw a pool party a couple times a week as it was great! We really enjoyed the live entertainment in the evenings and especially loved listening to Dee & Jay singing so beautifully! A highlight for us was definitely the excellent service from the staff. From the first day we could see that they were genuinely nice people and took pride in their job. A special shout out to the Sangs bar staff who were always kind and friendly to us. They made our experience better by just being genuinely nice people and their service was excellent! A big thanks to Pradeep and Lahiru who lead the team and always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. A huge thanks to Ibrahim and Madheeh who made us laugh everyday and gave brilliant service. You made our experience even better by just meeting you all. We will definitely return to the hotel in the future as it was the best holiday we've ever had! The Maldives is really paradise on earth! Don't think twice about booking to stay at this hotel because it's perfect!

So Huvafen Fushi aka Nacatcha Fushi was my first island in May 1989, hence there is a bit of a special bond . Together with hubby we re-visited in 2009 and 2018 and just came back after the current revamp. Transfer takes around 30/35 minutes with their fancy yacht. The island lies in a remote corner of the North-Malé-Atoll, pretty away from other resorts and traffic. Warm welcome on the arrival jetty with cold towels and a glass of champagne, also champagne along with treats and a welcome letter in the villa. Classy and old-school luxury style. All 46 units feature a chic and contemporary design, private pool and a butler-service. Our Thukuru Shaana was a very lovely person, very dedicated. The deluxe beach bungalows are equipped with two pools, one in the backyard and one in front of the beach. Fantastic bath amenities from Diptyque. We stayed in bungalow # 8 which is located on the best part of the island in my opinion. The bungalows come with a very good layout, sufficient space for the baggage, a pretty bathroom with full glass windows and an additional outdoor shower. Also, an easy-to-handle light system. Mattress and bedding are really comfortable. The overwater bungalows feature just one pool, they are huge, especially the ocean ones on the reef-side which come with a glass floor bottom in the living room. We also had a look into the 2 Bedroom Ocean Pavilion, very wow! The wide lagoon on sunrise side provides perfect swimming options. The house reef is easily accessible on sunset side. Good amount of fish life and many sharks are around, including nurse sharks (yet, this time we did not spot one, yet a troop of larger blacktips). Open-concept main outlet Celsius provides a sand floor and a snugly ambiance. Huvafen now implemented a breakfast buffet, very appreciated! Nice presentation along with a fine selection. The Danish fruit pastries are excellent. The interior design at Celsius is currently still the same, yet it will be changed and upgraded shortly (new chairs for example ). The main bar is located close to Celsius, also with a sandy floor and a cosy atmosphere. The Mediterranean venue Fogliani’s lies next to the large infinity pool and is open for lunch. I can highly recommend the different types of Ceviche. There is also a wood stove for preparing traditional Italian pizza. Eight metres below lies Vinum, the impressive wine cellar. Apart from wine & cheese tastings, it’s also a great option for a private dinner. The overwater complex comes with a wooden outdoor chilling deck for sunset cocktails and two outlets: Raw open for lunch, offering organic cuisine and healthy drinks and Salt, the Japanese signature outlet. We had a fantastic dinner over there, stunning setting. For dessert, I asked for a mangosteen platter. They were not available here, thus they sent somebody to grab it from the main outlet.
