Among the activities offered to the visitors are kayaking, jungle trekking, hiking and bird watching. Each activity has been curated with an educational theme is led by one of our trained passionate in-house nature guides.
Nature Excursions
1.Jeram Panjang Trekking
Jeram Panjang Trekking activity follows the path of the elephants and to see the traces left by the giants. Upon arrival at Jeram Panjang, the guide will lead to cross the rapid and get to the clear fresh water stream of Sungai Kernam for a swim.
2.Kinchin River Cruise Tour
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Sungai Kinchin River Cruise in Taman Negeri Rompin, Pahang, Malaysia. This river cruise if the perfect way to explore the stunning beauty of The Sungai Kinchin River. Suitable for all ages. As you board the river cruise, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of the lush green rainforest surrounding the river. Throughout the journey, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the region’s diverse flora and fauna, including monkeys, birds and other wildlife.
3.Lubuk Siku Trekking
A more adventurous trail suitable for outdoor enthusiasts seeking fun trekking. Face challenges along the way such as swampy area, river crossing using fallen log and a little bit of climbing up the soft and slippery soil. Be prepared to get your outfit dirty and wet.
4.Kayaking & Swimming
Paddle upstream to enjoy the scenery of Taman Negeri Rompin through river view of Sungai Kinchin. Along the way of tall tropical trees, we might spot hornbills, eagles and monkeys that prefer the waterways to roam and to forage.
5.Sungai Kernam Forest Therapy
The longest trail of all guided activities offered; this moderate difficulty level trekking brings you to an unanticipated river known as Sungai Kernam. The bath in the crystal-clear water acts as a cure for our exhausting walk through the dense forest of Taman Negeri Rompin.
6.Padang Tujuh Hiking
The hike to Padang Tujuh takes you to unique scenery with different vegetation starting with tall dipterocarp tree species dominated by Pokok Kapur that looks like broccoli from afar. Going further up, the trail leads us to the spectacular palm forest including the endemic species; Livistona endauensis. Once reached Padang Tujuh, the dry heath forest welcomes you with stunted bonsai trees, pitcher plants and wild orchids.
7.Mahkota Waterfall Trekking
Mahkota Waterfall is a magnificent natural attraction located in Taman Negeri Rompin, Rompin, Pahang, Malaysia. The waterfall is renowned for its 50-meter height and its crystal-clear, blue-green waters, which are believed to be rich in minerals and offer numerous health benefits. Visitors can indulge in the invigorating water, swim, or simply unwind on the riverbanks while reveling in the breathtaking vistas of the surrounding forest.
Along the way to the famous Mahkota Waterfall, visitors can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the jungle, spot the footprints of elephants (as it serves as their route), and witness the majestic giant umbrella palm tree, known for its splendor.
