I stayed at this hotel with a friend in April. When we arrived I was told they do not need to hold a credit card because I am a member. We got to our room and it had an extreme smell of mold and was damp. We requested to move because it seemed unhealthy to sleep there. They moved us to another room, which still had a slight odor but was much better. A few days later I was called down to office to provide my credit card. I was confused and mentioned the conversation from check in. They said it is a formality and was an error from check in. Then we were told that when the cleaners came to the room they saw that the bathroom mirror was broken. We told them there were many things wrong with the room but we didn't want to complain again after already requesting to change rooms and these were mostly minor issues. They asked us to write everything wrong with the room onto a sheet and said they would not be charging the credit card. We gave them the list of problems in the room. Six weeks later I had a charge on my credit card for the mirror. I've contacted them several times and the manager will not call me back but I'm told they investigated the situation and determined that we broke the mirror. The situation feels deceptive and the hotel was very broken down with many needs including the broken mirror. I would not recommend staying there.

Great hotel. Beautiful views.Just in the middle of nowhere so make sure you bring snacks or food because no one will deliver to you because of the remote location. The pool closes at 7 which was disappointing an the restaurant closed at 8 an it said it would close at 10 so we were quite disappointed we got dressed and went to restaurant at 730 only to find out they clos ed in 30mins. But other than those small incoviences very beautiful hotel. Great staff an a good breakfast buffet 😊 would definently stay again.

My husband I stayed at Dorado Beach for the first time and lets just say we will be back. We live in Texas and have told each other that we wanted to find a resort that is direct flight from Texas, amazing food, great service and wonderful rooms and let's just say ”WE FOUND IT”!!! From the beginning to the end of our trip we had the absolute best time. The check in process was very smooth and the staff was very friendly upon arrival. The entrance walking up to check in desk is gorgeous with all the water features!! Matthew at check in was so friendly and gave us some great recommendations as we were first timers!!! Restaurants: We ate at Coa our first night and had a great start to our trip. Our server nicknamed Kiki was so great. The service was a bit long( 2hours ) but the staff was attentive and even gave us a round of drinks due to the wait. I highly recommend the Dover Sole fish and the pheasant. Our second night we went to Flor De Sol and had another great server Rosi and it her attitude matched the amazing Fishermans Risotto and Branzino!!! Beach: We had beach chairs set up everyday for us outside our room and Mike was so great and friendly. He checked on us routinely and I even left a cover up out one day and he made sure to get it back to me the next day. Pool: We spent first day at the adult pool and beach spot and had wonderful service from Jessica and Naomi. They were so sweet and friendly!! Our butlers Chen, Angel and Trent were so attentive and all I had to do if I needed anything was text them on Whatsup and they would respond and make sure we were always taken care of. We changed our excursion and Chen was right on top of it. Trent gave us some great historical information about the property and the geography of the area. Spa: My husband and I had a couples massage and I would the spa is very gorgeous but the cost is a bit pricey.

Excellent location, next to a shopping center and several restaurants. Accessible to use taxi or Uber transportation. 8 minutes from another shopping center and 15 minutes from the capital area. Castillo San Felipe El Morro and Plaza las Americas shopping center.

This little hotel is such a GEM, located in a little side street in the middle of Old San Juan. The hotel has a beautiful Spanish Hacienda Style throughout the rooms and common areas. Our room (ground floor - H7) was spacious, stunningly detailed decorated, high ceiling, the King size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a big shower with two shower heads. Morning coffee is served every day and an ice machine is available since the room has no fridge. The villa grounds have a little rooftop to use as well to enjoy a morning coffee. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and truly helpful. The location is in walking distance to the ports, restaurant, shopping and nightlife. We highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there again when we return to San Juan.

Definitely the best place you can stay within the old san juan.
