Location wise it’s a bit of walk from the bts station. Design wise is good. Lobby and the restaurant in the same space, beautifully designed and love the small props they are selling. As for the room, the design is great again. Acoustic need to be improved. I can hear the ambulance or cars honking even though my room doesn’t have a window facing the road. Other room closing their door will somehow shake the bedhead wall which is quite annoying when im on the bed. Receptionist are very helpful, wiling to help me to store my luggage after i checked out as my flight is at night time so i still have another half day.

1.Location: It's close to mrt (silom station) and bts (sala daeng station), so it's easy to move around. It's said that the mrt line has become longer in 2019. 2. Facilities: Only the 4th floor, no elbe, but the building itself feels like a new building and it's very neat~ Two people gave me a card key, but I can only open the front door of the 1st floor building with a card key~ Clean clean too~ President You are so kind~ 3. Breakfast: Breakfast was as simple as bread (toaster), yogurt, milk, coffee, juice, and banana, but it was okay (photo #2) I eat in the lobby on the 1st floor, but there are only a few tables, but it was okay~ I give you a bottle of basic mineral water every day. 1 There is also a water purifier (how Coway! hahaha) in the floor lobby (picture 1)! Simple sweets, candy, mixed coffee, and tea are standard, so you can eat them anytime~ (photo #3) 4. The only downside is that the water pressure in the shower is a little weak, so I removed 1 star ㅠㅠ

Nice, new hotel, the room was clean, the air conditioning could be adjusted to the required temperature, the sewerage did not smell. The room included not only face and body towels, but also toothbrushes and toothpaste. The hotel is located in the courtyards, due to this there was a problem with calling a taxi. The drivers did not want to go to the entry point to the hotel, so they had to get out and go to the main street. Of the minuses, I would note the loud operation of the external air conditioner unit on the balcony, as well as the fact that the reception had a problem with the check-out time. The Trip.com app indicated that check-out time was from 12:00 to 15:00, but the hotel itself said that you had to check-out before 12:00. A little later they called and said that we could leave until 15.00. Check this information immediately at the registration desk. Overall, the hotel is worth the money and better than others we stayed in in Bangkok.

In front there is a 7-11. It's very easy to find food. There is a massage shop and a hair salon. Nearby, under the building there is a delicious Somtam restaurant. Eat regularly. Our room view is as per the photo. Spectacular wat arun view. At night the view is amazing. The room is clean and the bed so comfortable. Nothing to complain about the room. The location is bit far from the city but very near to wat pho and wat arun. Use google maps to locate the hotel because you can’t see it from the main road. Taxi will drop you from the main road and you have to walk around 100m to the hotel. Hotel has no elevator. The staff will bring your luggage to the room. We went on long holiday (new year), so many people and the traffic in bangkok especially at the hotel area so jammed. The main road is closed so very hard to get grab car and taxi. Maybe road closed due to the long holiday.

Best Bangkok Travel Guide: Top Things to Do, Transportation & Tips

Bangkok Travel Guide

Bangkok is Thailand’s capital and the pulse of Southeast Asia. Built along the Chao Phraya River, Bangkok used to get around on a network of canals, earning it the nickname “Venice of the East.”

In Bangkok, you’ve got glittering temples like Wat Arun and Wat Pho sitting right next to shiny skyscrapers and giant malls like IconSiam. No matter if you’re slurping on boat noodles, cruising the river, or catching the sunset from a rooftop bar, Bangkok’s got a way of pulling you in!

Getting to Bangkok

So, you’re headed to Bangkok—awesome choice! Getting there is pretty easy since the city’s got two airports: Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang Airport (DMK).

  • Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is the main one, located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) southeast of the city center. It’s where most international flights land. It’s shiny, modern, and well-organized, with loads of shops, cafes, and lounges. If you’re flying in from Europe, North America, or anywhere long-haul, this is probably where you’ll arrive.
  • Don Mueang Airport (DMK) is about 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of downtown Bangkok and handles mostly budget airlines like AirAsia and Nok Air. It’s an older airport and it’s great if you’re coming from nearby countries or taking domestic flights.

If you’re catching a red-eye flight, I suggest staying near Suvarnabhumi Airport for convenience. These hotels offer free shuttle services to and from the airport, making those early mornings or late arrivals much easier.

Best Areas to Stay in Bangkok

  • Sukhumvit: Glittering rooftop bars and global eats along the BTS line – perfect for nightlife lovers and luxury shoppers.
  • Riverside: Upscale 5-star hotels with best river views, steps from Wat Arun and sunset cruises. Great for families.
  • Old City: Budget hostels and street food near the Grand Palace – temple-hopping by day, Khao San Road parties by night.

Wat Arun

Top Things to Do in Bangkok

Bangkok is chaotic, colorful, and so much fun. This delulu city guarantees you’ll leave with stories to tell!

1. The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew

The Grand Palace is Bangkok’s most famous landmark, and for good reason. This 18th-century royal palace is incredible, with intricate architecture and remarkable courtyards. Inside, you’ll find Wat Phra Kaew, home to the Emerald Buddha, Thailand’s most sacred statue.

Pro Tip: Your ticket also gets you into the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, which is cool (literally—hello, AC!) and worth a quick stop.

Top Things to Do in Bangkok

The Grand Palace

2. Wat Pho

Just down the road, you’ve got Wat Pho, home to the massive Reclining Buddha that’s 150 feet of pure gold-plated glory. The temple grounds are beautiful, and if you’re up for it, you can grab a massage at the on-site Thai massage. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Top Things to Do in Bangkok

Chinatown

3. Chinatown

Chinatown is a feast for the senses. No matter if you’re here for the amazing street food, gold shops, or temples, this neighborhood never disappoints. The main drag, Yaowarat Road, comes alive at night with food carts dishing out everything from roast duck to sticky rice with mango.

If you’re visiting during Chinese New Year, expect exciting parades, dragon dances, and even more delicious food. Don’t forget to duck into a side alley—you never know what treasure you’ll find.

JJkoh1Good location. Directly linked to MBK (via level 2) and National Stadium BTS. There’s a 7-11 at level 1. Modern and clean room. Buffet breakfast spread was good and some food items were changed daily. Go before 9am to avoid queues. Can reach Siam square, Siam paragon in less than 15min walk. However sound proof is quite bad. LLW17Our room was nice and clean. Booked city view deluxe 2 double room, which is nice enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Impressed by service rendered by staff. Check in staff was nice to help extend a slightly later checkout timing as i had a late night flight. Staff also assist us with booking of car to the airport and help communicate with Grab driver to ensure there is sufficient boot space for our luggage. Location is ok, hotel do provide shuttle bus to Asoke BTS station or you can also walk about 7 mins to the station. Walkable distance to EMSPHERE mall with lots of food choices. Most of the time we commute via Grab so this hotel is great for us.

HhnkuanWe stayed here for 1 night on 21 Feb as we arrived BKK at night. The hotel has a residential-style setup, fully equipped with a kitchenette, including kitchen utensils, a microwave, and an induction cooktop, making it convenient for extended stays. Location is not ideal, as it is far from the city. The room is quite dark and lacks sufficient downlighting. The lighting position does not seem well-placed, making the room feel dim. There are no hidden lights to create a cozy ambiance, and to sleep comfortably, all lights must be turned off, as there is no option for softer lighting. The room slippers are reusable, which might not be ideal for hygiene. There are two pillows, one hard and one soft - good! The mattress is extremely soft, which may or may not be comfortable depending on personal preference. In terms of location, the hotel is far from the city, but a 7-Eleven is just a 2-minute walk away, which is super convenient. However, the lobby also had an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet, which affected the overall experience.

JJohnny EuroIt's our second time staying in this hotel. The workers are very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The rooms have shampoo, soaps, water, fridge, toiletries, and a big bath. The breakfast is more Asian style with some European style pastries and bread available. It tastes nice tho. Free coffee all day too. Check in and check out can take a little bit of time, so be patient for that as the hotel does have a lot of rooms. Walking distance to big shopping malls and has restaurants, 7-11's, massage shops, cafes and bars nearby.

GGuest UserInspite of the Google reviews not being so positive, we thought the hotel was not bad especially for the price we paid for 4 days. Had all the amenities and the room looked nice too. We didn’t hear any noises from the nearby club at night. Definitely an older hotel but it’s got a charm to it. Room service and hotel staff were always quick to help when needed. We got their breakfast on the last day and it was one of the tastiest pad Thai I’ve had, along with many more breakfast options. Loved we had a washer/dryer in our room and it worked pretty well. Wish they had given us a small sachet of laundry detergent so that we don’t have to buy one only to waste it. Finding a Grab was not too bad to and from Bangkok downtown. Never got to check the pool or the gym because we were too jet lagged but looked good in the pics. We would definitely recommend this

VVictorBrazilChinaA bit disappointed. I had to wait 40 minutes to get my room, I waited until 2:35pm. They just gave me the room because I decided to stand in front of them until they give me the room. The keycard if stop working they will give you another one but they said “it’s the last one” so if this card stop working you will have to ask some staff to open the door with a key. The pool they control the towels and sometimes no staff there to ask for. Gym also no towels, even tho they have the towel sign. It’s not a bad hotel, they just need to improve and respect a bit more the customers. My floor the aisle AC it was too cold, I asked to turn a bit down and nothing happened.
