Hotel terbaik di Marmaris

We have just returned from this hotel and did not have a pleasant experience. Myself and my daughter arrived after 1am. We were greeted by a sullen looking young man. There was no warm welcome or in fact any welcome. He just checked us in and gave us our room key. I had my tip money ready in my hand to give the ‘bell boy’ or whoever helped us (as is the norm in Turkey) but no offer was made so we went up with our luggage on our own. The room was clean but very small and dated. We were on the 4th floor and had a partial sea and pool view which was pleasant. The beds weren’t very comfortable (the legs on one side of my daughters bed kept going in to the bed base which tipped the bed on its side. The first time it did it it was late so she has to sleep like that and her back hurt the next morning. The pillows were hard. House keeping was good. Our room was cleaned daily and towels were always replenished and the beds were changed. The cleaning ladies were very nice. Our first morning at the hotel there was literally nothing left to eat for breakfast so we went out to get something. It was the end of the Turkish holidays and the hotel seemed to be full so we just assumed this was the reason why. The next morning it seemed a little better. The selection wasn’t great but typical for a budget hotel in Turkey. However the selection of drinks was not typical. At breakfast you have the option to have a cup of tea or coffee (providing the machine had been turned on or if it had any milk which it didn’t always) to us this was simply unacceptable. We had paid for Soft all inclusive and there wasn’t even a juice machine at breakfast (this is the first time I have ever seen this anywhere in Turkey after visiting for 20 years) Our option was ‘fill your own bottles up with water’ and a coffee if you were lucky ( I wasn’t lucky every day) At 11am ‘the pool bar’ opened. I use this term loosely as it isn’t like any bar I have seen anywhere before. The refreshments on offer was so limited it was actually unbelievable. I feel like I have been robbed, it really was disgraceful. I paid to have ‘unlimited drinks’ which I did not get. Myself and my daughter aren’t big drinkers so we were happy to book ‘soft all inclusive’ but certainly were not happy with the drinks that were on offer. My daughter is diabetic so we only ever drink sugar free drinks, they did not have any. I enjoy a lager or 2 in the sun of an afternoon on holiday. 2 days they didn’t have any. I went to speak to the receptionist and he told me ‘they were coming’ Which is not acceptable when you have paid for something, it should be there. The other issue was the boy on the bar who didn’t understand a word I said. I can speak some Turkish so I tried to order in Turkish but he didn’t even understand when I said ‘su!’ The other issue was when there occasionally was a bottle of beer he would simply take it from the fridge and place it on the bar. Bij aankomst bleek dat er niet voldoende parkeerplek was zoals wel tegen ons vertelt was. Het zijn gewoon openbare parkeerplekken en niet beveiligt. Hierdoor konden wij dus 10 min lopen van en naar de auto. Ook bleek dat we een andere kamer hadden dan de kamer die stond aangegeven op ***********. Ook was de hygiëne ver te zoeken. ze hebben dit opgelost door ons een upgrade te geven maar wel tegen extra betaling. Helemaal prima. Bij aankomst in onze nieuwe kamer bleek dat de balkondeur niet op slot kon. Ik voelde mijzelf daardoor niet veilig, het antwoord van t hotel was: dat er altijd iemand op de camera’s keek en het echt heel veilig was. (Tijdens mijn verblijf heb ik toen ik wegging en terugkwam maar incidenteel iemand bij de computer zien zitten voor de camera’s). De kluis zit niet verankert in de muur waardoor iedereen via de balkondeur naar binnen kon en zomaar de kluis kon pakken. Na sterk aandringen en 2 tripjes naar de receptie en 2 bezoekjes in onze kamer hebben ze toch maar n monteur gebeld. Beetje gek dat we daar zo lang over bezig moesten zijn, lijkt mij dat je ervan uit mag gaan dat de deuren dicht kunnen. Ook leek deze kamer wederom heel erg in verval. De wastafels zijn van cement en geschilderd, waardoor er in de wasbak vieze vlekken ontstaan. De douche is ook geschilderd en bladert af. En doordat het geschilderd is, zie je allemaal vlekken op de douche muur (waarvan? Geen idee smerig was het wel) De kalk aanslag op de kranen maakt het geheel niet beter. Op het toilet hangt een papiertje met “desinfected for you” maar toch zie je de vlekken op de toiletbril. Het enige dat beter was was het aantal m2. Na 3 dagen zouden we naar een andere kamer kunnen (waar we voor betaalt hebben) maar wij wilde daar geen gebruik meer van maken omdat wij dachten dat het na 2 vieze kamers toch niet beter zou worden en hebben we de middag ervoor geprobeerd te praten met de manager, en de receptioniste. Deze gaf aan dat ondanks wij vroeg wilden uitchecken en beschaafd over de situatie wilden praten er toch niks meer te doen viel, en wij dus ook de 200 euro upgrade kwijt zijn -＞ waar wij door nalatige schoonmakers van hun geen gebruik meer van wilde maken. De kamer word alleen bij aankomst “gepoetst” en daarna is er geen poetsservice meer. Het ontbijt is pas vanaf half 10 en is niet gratis, terwijl je geen mogelijkheid hebt zelf eten te maken. Het hotel wordt geadverteerd als nieuw, maar bij aankomst is alles geleefd. De muren zijn op, de vloeren hebben twijfelachtige vlekken en van de badkamer ben je bang dat je schimmel krijgt. Al met al heeft het verblijf in dit hotel echt onze vakantie verziekt, ook heb ik twijfelachtige bultjes op mijn voeten gekregen en ben ik niet in een zwembad geweest (ik geloof heilig dat dit komt door de slechte hygiëne van de badkamer) Terwijl we wel gewoon 800 euro hebben betaalt (met upgrade dus 1000 euro totaal) voor 7 dagen. Me and the wife stayed here our first and last time. We stayed for 2 out of 7 nights then moved back to Icmeler for our last 5 nights. The live band on for 2 nights were so loud we thought they were in our room on the 3rd floor so i can”t imagine how bad the 1st and 2nd floors must have been. Then there was a DJ on for the next 3 nights as well. When the band finished at approx 1230 am the bars loud music kicked in til late. The room was very small with very little storage and a small glass fronted fridge which shone all night. The sea-view was amazing with a fair sized balcony. Breakfast was good and plenty and typical Turkish which we liked. Some of the guests were rude and walked around as if it was a 5 star which it definitely was not. When we checked out they tried to charge us for a meal and drinks we hadn’t had and we had to show proof that we had not. Would we go back? a BIG NO

Spectacular 33 bedroom luxury hotel set agains thr backdrop of what must be the most beautiful bay in the area. A must for food lovers, sailors and anyone that wants to explore the region on foot and by sail boat. Don’t miss the Hemithea temple which will soon be excavated. Top marks.

Sorry its late.. 3rd visit to turkey 1st visit to tui blu grand azur but will come again soon from getting off the transfer to getting back on it the staff here are amazing,the room although a bit dated was clean and well sized, room was cleaned and bedding and towels changed during our 7 days and the air con worked to keep us cool even in april. Food was amazing throughout the hotel even our fussy eater lad tried loads of new tastes and big thanks to bayram who looked after us at brekfast and evening meals removing empty plates and keeping our glasses topped up Levante restaurent well worth a visit for the food and that view is amazing.. Nice walk into marmaris is spoilt by the annoying shop keepers demanding you to go into there shopped but thats the norm for turkey but lovely town when you get there,. Big thanks to the ladies at brekfast making the fried eggs and omelates Keep up the good work good to see the reviews all find grand azur same as i did hope to visit again one day soon 👍👍

Хороший отель за свои деньги. Плюсы: - не так давно был сделан ремонт в номерах, всё довольно свежее и чистое - неплохой тренажёрный зал - тёплый бассейн и хамам - завтрак не роскошный, но очень даже съедобный Минусы: - нет своей парковки (но не в сезон всегда можно найти на улице недалеко от отеля) - старые и маленькие телевизоры в номерах - работают только кабельные каналы, отсутствуют youtube/netflix/Android tv и прочие интернет сервисы - слабый напор воды в душе и лейка в душе без режимов - в отеле с приставкой spa хотелось бы видеть это :-)

Konumu çok güzel, marmaris'in tam ortasında. Ailem için en önemli şey denizdi, plaja sadece 3 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindeydi. Biz yemekleri çok beğendik, çeşit olarak çok iyiydi. Özellikle alkol kalitesi çok iyiydi, beni çok şaşırttı. Ancak 5.kattaki odaların bulunduğu ortak salonda klima yoktu ve odadan çıktığımızda sanki saunaya giriyormuşuz gibi hissettik. Onun dışında her şey harikaydı, tüm ekibe teşekkür ederiz. Güvenle seyahat edebilirsiniz.

Очень хороший дизайн, ничего лишнего. Просторный номер! В номере есть кухня, но кроме чашек никакой посуды, даже не было чайных ложек. Матрас не супер удобный. Местоположение хорошее - близко ко всему.
