Basic but clean hotel, it looks like the hotel disconnected the TV service, and previously set alarm still working by the other customer and woke us up, , anyway it's a basic motel.

AAbdullah NurLocation is good! Although service for 5 Star should be as it is in protocol. I have asked to deliver tea bags which I wanted, they provide in the room very strange flavor which is not common, I have asked via phone to provide me normal English breakfast but I was refused that they don’t have it. I still think with such a price and star hotel should satisfy the customers with any need during the stay in the hotel.

PPengguna TetamuThey only got 3 stars for service only because my son had forgot the room number when he went to get pizza it was our first day at that hotel . So he went upfront to get the room number and lady at front desk held him there and finally called my room and she said I couldn’t have anyone there that my booking was for one person which it wasn’t I asked her where my son and car were because now she has held him up so long I’m 25 min late for work she says she wasn’t gonna tell me which I was like *** ? So I went down there showed her my reservation that had two guests. I told her I had to go I was now late for work and she continued to try to hold me up I told her I would come by in morning after work she proceeds to tell me that she was gonna call cops on me for what I do not know but that my boss had to call in 30 min or she was calling the law . I told her that she was in the wrong not I or my son . My son tells me that she told him that she doesn’t rent to …. Pause looks him up and down and tells him people like u . Still I do not know what she meant by that he is a 21 year old kid he is white and has long hair so I’m not sure what she was referring to by that . What is people like my son white ? Cause he has long hair ? Not too sure but that was bothersome to me she said that .. But what I can say is that the owner or manager he called my son to apologize and told him she went to far it was for security purposes her not telling him what room but she took it too far and he made it right . It was a nice room big and very clean from the outside I they look a lil old but it’s surprisingly newly remodeled and spacious rooms

The internet was non-existent, but the city of Marina is in a bad reception zone.
Don’t get excited about breakfast. It was definitely a to go thing.
The room was fine, but when I was doing a last minute check of the room I looked under bed and it was obvious that it was not dusted or mopped.
Other then the above it was a good place to stay for a quick trip to visit Family.

PPengguna TetamuFriendly staff, solid location, decent WiFi and generally clean and has the basics down. Better for sightseeing than for those staying in, I think.
Quick things to note: they don't allow late checkouts, just fyi, but otherwise you just drop your keys in a box to check out. The vending machines are also located in an open area, which is nice for when I visited but could become an issue if it's raining...
The balconies are really nice, and the location is insanely convenient. It's about 10ish minutes to walk to the aquarium, and it's a block (or half, if you go out the back!) to the waterfront. There's solid food and sightseeing options here too.
They do have a decent parking lot, but there's a ton you can see in Monterey by walking, and this hotel is perfect for a lot of those.
What's missing here: a common dining area and breakfast, for one. Rooms aren't cramped but most furnishing is basic. Don't expect anything fancy, essentially.
All that said, it's a solid choice if you're actually going out and sightseeing vs spending tons of time here. And if you do, they have some pretty nice patios and some rooms have balconies overlooking a trail.

KKarenEverything was good except the fact of someone pounding on my door at 1:00am then they took off! It was ridiculously unacceptable as they think it’s funny! Other then that, the view of the beach from our room was spectacular. Well worth the cost. Checking in/out was quick and easy.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe location is splendid. Everything is alright except for the fact that we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs to reach our room. There are in total 2 sets of stairs with small steps and our luggage was quite heavy. There is an elevator but it only carried us to to the floor and not where our hotel room is actually located. You definitely need to request for wheelchair accessible rooms if you don't want to burden yourself in carrying your heavy luggages or if you are bringing someone who is disabled or the elderly. The free breakfast had a pancake maker which was really nice.

FFernGNice rooms in a hotel located in short driving distance to Monterey sites and highway 1. Unfortunately we were greeted in our hotel room by a couple aggressively arguing very in the hotel room next to us, which continued throughout the night before they “made up” equally as loud. Thankfully I’m quite a deep sleeper so slept through this but my partner had the worst nights sleep of our trip here due to this.
There is a large parking lot, however you may struggle to find a parking space later at night. Basic but ok breakfast items included hard boiled eggs, yoghurts, pancakes & waffles that could be toasted as well as a machine of fruit juices, tea and coffee. Overall a good motel however significantly impacted by thin walls and other inconsiderate guests.

PPengguna TetamuConvenient location, and a nice big King room, but a few drawbacks: lack of instructions for the room: the shower tap is mislabelled, with ”hot” delivering cold water only, the temperature controller was unusual and not intuitive, and does not provide any cooling, only heating. The lighting in the bathroom was not sufficient, with the larger shower being a dark area.
It was a pity that Covid-19 had caused a halt in the advertised sit-down breakfast services - with only hot coffee and a paper bag with fruit juice, an apple and packaged bakery item available for collection each monrning at reception, a short walk up the road.
