So many things. When you walk in there is a bad smell. The night front desk person was not friendly at all. There is no one to help with your bags. There are four carts you can use yourself. I had to ask her should we park here and where is the room and I got very little information. WiFi is awful. It shouldn’t even be called WiFi. I had to leave the hotel just to get signal. Towels are very small and apparently they have very few towels because even though we stayed four days we had to work very hard to get fresh towels - they kept telling us frequently they had run out. After two days and no cleaning service we asked for trash bags so we could eMpty out our trash ourselves and put new trash bags in the bins. We were told that all she could give us was one big trash bag. We did have someone come to clean the room once in four days but again we had to chase them to get fresh towels. Also there was a point we ran out of toilet paper and we had to work hard to find someone to Get us more. Night employee is very unfriendly and hard to get any information out of her as she is fixated on her phone. The ac units are very old so be prepared for a lot of noise when they go on and off at night - bring ear plugs. Also the rooms are dusty - we had to buy an air purifier just to prevent my asthma from flaring up. The ac is a wall unit so either it’s very cold or very hot - very out dated. Also some signs of leaking on the ceiling. The only reason we stayed is because we had a wedding and couldn’t get anywhere else. The carpets are very old everywhere and they have stains all over them. Light fixtures in the room were burnt out and did not work. We did complain about this but was told no other rooms available. We kept being told someone would come and take care of this but we are still waiting… no one came. But of course when it was time for checkout someone came to knock on the door. They need to do better. It’s disgraceful. There was a nice friendly employee that worked in the morning. In general morning staff was friendly. And if you happen to be lucky enough to find someone in housekeeping they were friendly too. Breakfast was not bad. They do have a complimentary hot breakfast - waffles, egg and sausage everyday. Would have been nice to have more choices but at least it was a hot breakfast as promised. I’ll be happy to talk more with management if they are reading this.

A beautiful & well cared for hotel! Staff was amazing the entire stay! Remembered my name and room number when using guest resources! Definitely looking forward to coming back!!

This is a very nice, perfectly located hotel. It’s not a LUXURIOUS hotel. The Guest service folks were all very helpful and super friendly. My only two grievances are that the hot tub wasn’t operational, not really that big of a deal, and that the in hotel bar was not open. Ever. We were visiting family that stayed in the same hotel and that is part of the reason for staying there. We thought it would be nice to not have to venture out after the end of the day, and have a couple drinks. This wasn’t a huge deal either, except I think it should be noted somewhere under the amenities that the in-house bar is closed at this time. The breakfast services was wonderful. The food and service! It’s our 2nd stay with this particular Hilton Garden Inn.

Kakitangan sopan dan bilik kami sangat bersih. Ia adalah bilik kecil dengan satu ratu tetapi ia direka dengan sangat baik dan saya menyukai rupa dan rasanya. Tempat tidurnya juga selesa. Was in town for a funeral. We have stayed here many times prior. As always the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. I arrived at about 1pm. Asked if my room was ready and was totally prepared for them to say no and to return later. The front desk clerk went upstairs to speak with housekeeping. Upon return I was informed that my ”newly renovated room was clean and ready to go”. I should say that this hotel is clearly being renovated. I get that. Hotels need to be renovated. I was actually kind of excited to see what they had done. Love the new color scheme. The carpet in the hallway is very stylish. However, that is as far as this renovation has gotten. By newly renovated they mean they put in new carpet and had an amateur come in to paint. I have a 12 year old niece that could have done a better job on the painting. Now on to housekeeping. Mind you, the front desk clerk specifically asked house keeping about my room and was told it was clean and ready for a new guest. I am posting photos with this review. We had a double queen suite with a sofa bed. When we got to the room it was clear there was no mattress on the sofa bed as the cushions were sunk down in the sofa. Housekeeping came by and installed the mattress. It looked clean but there was no mattress cover or bedding of any kind on it. I found the linens for the sofa bed in the closet. The blanket was filthy. Not just dirty but filthy. The pillowcase clearly had not been changed. There was make up and what appeared to be juice on it. The sheets had blood on them in more than one spot. Someone had actually taken the linens off the bed and instead of sending them to laundry they simply folded them neatly and put them in the closet for the next guest. I took them down to the front desk and she could not apologize enough. I got clean linen and a new blanket. The blanket had a huge tear in the corner. This newly renovated room had a toilet seat that slid when you sat on it. The furniture looked like it had not been wiped down in a year. It was all nicked and battered. The light switches were dirty and there was a coating of dust on everything. I was truly disappointed. My pet peeve is dirty hotel bathrooms. the sink and toilet were clean but the tub was stained and there was an orange film in it. The wall of the shower had something one it and someone had picked their nose and wiped it on the wall next to the toilet. This hotel cleaning staff is clearly in need of a lesson in ”guest ready” room. There was popcorn on the floor and the bathroom floor was dirty. Not sure if I will stay again. One last thing---I get why hotels have bright lights on the outside of the buildings. I don't get why they have such a hard time hanging drapes that close all the way. It is very difficult to sleep with a crack of bright light coming through the window. For goodness sake how hard is it to use one blackout panel that runs the entire width of the window!!!
