Quality Inn - on the Lake Clarksville-Boydton

I'm not sure I got the view of the lakefront I paid extra for. My room was clean comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed the balcony sitting area. I just wish out of so many choices on the TV they didn't have my favorite channel TCM. The bed was awesome and front desk people very nice excellent customer service

The heater in room 165 is extremely loud. Also vending machine took my money and didn’t give me what I wanted. Other than that it was a good stay.

The photos on the website no longer match the conditions the property is in, the floors were so dirty, I had to keep my shoes on the whole time I was there, I didn’t want to touch anything. The price I paid for the night was definitely not equivalent to the service or accommodation. I will not be returning.

They were in the middle of renovation & banging to early, could not rest. And the Continental breakfast was terrible nothing on the counter, no fruit. The construction workers were eating. When I asked if there was any more eggs the front desk associate got an attitude.

It’s an old property and even after the renovations it still has a lot of issues. We stayed in the same room as we had at a prior stay. We informed the staff that there was an issue with the remote turning off the TV it still wasn’t fixed.

Currently sitting in my room at almost midnight, unable to sleep because the neighbors are playing music and singing incredibly loud. They've been in and out, in and out, in and out all night. I should have seen this coming as they were working on a car in the parking lot for hours drinking cases of beer and listening to music loudly all day. No help from the front desk...and on top of that the phone in the room doesn't work. Finally had to go to the front desk to discuss the loud neighbors and the non- working phone. They seemed to be aware of the issue and offered to contact the neighbors to ask them to quiet down. I advised that would be great but it didn't fix the fact our phone was not working in the room. They eventually agreed to move us to a new room. So i walk down to check it out but it was a room with a single bed, which wouldn't work for my family of 4. I stood in the cold while they ran back to the front desk to look for another room with a double bed. They found a room 6 doors down from the current room. I got the key card and began to pack my family up to move to the new room...but the key card didn'twork. So there we are standing outside in the cold, in our PJs holding suitcases, coolers, snacks and left over dinner boxes while the front desk guy is telling the neighbors to quiet down. The neighbors come out, give me a bitter look and stare at my wife in a rather unsettling way. At that point I was so frustrated I loaded up the car and

Rooms could be cleaner. Extra roll of toilet paper needs to be provided in each room.

Convenient to hunting locations. Beds were decent, bathroom and shower CLEAN.

Rooms were not as presented online. Housekeeping did not come- we had to go to the desk to ask for towels. Left 2 days early because our event was cancelled due to weather & had nothing to do in the area, extremely limited food options
