We stayed here for four nights while we explored Nova Scotia. From our arrival until the day we left the service was impeccable. Staff are friendly, interested, efficient. (Thank you Kumar and team.) Nothing was too much trouble, from sorting out laundry to sourcing a mobile phone expert. (Thank you, Bhandu!) Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, and kept that way by expert housekeeping teams. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Fine hotel but a bit old I think this hotel is fair in always you should book

We stayed here one night in July 2024. We have stayed here a number of times before and have always had a good experience. We booked a ground floor drive up room and we’re in room #6, where we have stayed several times previously. There is a small fridge, microwave oven, television, and air conditioning unit in the room, and they all worked great. It was very warm out, and the room was quickly cooled down. We had reservations and check in was quick and pleasant, and there is a key drop to leave your key for early departures, which we did. The room was exceptionally clean and spotless, front to door to the bathroom. While not a new motel, it appears to be well maintained and kept very clean. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the not too thick pillows. The rooms are very quiet, and we never have a problem sleeping there. Our favorite part of this motel is the view and the atmosphere. There are a number of chairs on the front lawn with a great view and it is a very nice place to relax and have a cold beverage after a long day of travelling. A number of other guests felt the same way, and we met some great people who were staying there who were out sitting and having a beverage or two. On top of all this, the room prices are very reasonable and the location is great. Easy to get on and off the highway, but also close to a number of restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, and other services. I definitely recommend this motel and we will stay here again.

The roof to our families home blew off during the hurricane. After our house was deemed not livable and struggling to find accommodation , we went to the comfort inn. Two amazing women , Kate and holly went above and beyond fore us! They made sure we had a dry place to stay and they provided support for me. When we got to our room. Kate , Holly and the amazing manager , Jeff. Had made sandwiches for us. They had left snacks for us and so many treats for our children. Until I walked in the lobby , we felt completely hopeless. In a time of crisis , these people went above and beyond to help our family.

We traveled through the Maritimes last week and stayed at the Willow Bend. It was an unexpected delight. We couldn’t find a room at any of the chains and needed a place that accepted pets. We called Best Western and they had no rooms but told us to try the Willow Bend. We called and they had a room. We told them we wouldn’t be there until around 9:30, they said they desk closed at ten but gave us a number to call if we were going to be later than that. At about 9:25 we received a call checking on our progress. We arrived 10 minutes after the call. We were very surprised to find such a clean and nice room. They have a continental breakfast which had many choices. Totally recommend the Willow Bend. Did I mention it was much cheaper than any of the chains?

The Truro Hampton Inn didn't disappoint: I had a king room at the end of a long corridor and the room had everything you need / expect. There was large TV, microwave, fridge, coffee machine with choice of coffee and some tea, plenty of charger points, and a chaise longue to relax in. It's located close to the highway but there wasn't any traffic noise that I noticed, no noise from other guests, and it's close to a couple of restaurants / cinema and Tim Hortons. Breakfast was great : lots of cooked options, pastries, cereals with milk in individual cartons, and there was a reasonable amount of seating available, with a choice of table, bar, more comfortable seating. A good choice for business travelers working in the area and also if, like me, you need somewhere convenient for getting back to Halifax Stanfield airport or don't want to go too far after a long / late flight.
