Ulasan Cologne Marriott Hotel

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a three-minute walk from the train station, and it's only a 5-10 minute walk to Cologne Cathedral. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is quite extensive. All this at a reasonable price!

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the Central Station and the Cathedral. Traveling with my child from Edinburgh to Cologne, our flight was delayed, plus a one-hour time difference, so by the time we got out of the train station, it was almost midnight. Luckily, the hotel was just a 5-minute walk away. Since our train was leaving at 2 PM the next day, I requested a 1 PM late check-out, which they granted. After a delicious and substantial breakfast (the hotel breakfast is great!), we headed to the Cathedral, which was just across the train station. The room size was significantly larger than similarly priced hotels I've stayed in the UK, which was a nice bonus.

The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent 👍. Breakfast was abundant and high-quality. It's very close to Cologne Central Station and only a 10-minute walk to Cologne Cathedral. A great place, quiet yet conveniently located!

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Just a heads-up, there's a deposit of 50 Euros per room if paying by credit card, or 100 Euros if paying cash upon check-in. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would choose to stay here again next time.

The hotel is too old, and the breakfast is very basic. There's hardly any service, and they don't even provide slippers. This is definitely not what I expect from a Marriott!

43 minutes to check in at the counter. The lady couldn't really help it, as she was still at the beginning of her training. However, during this time, several employees and managers walked past the check-in and seemed to think the long queue behind us was normal. At least, no one seemed interested. How can such a hotel put an inexperienced trainee alone at the check-in and only have one workstation occupied? The immediate supervisor was constantly doing other tasks and eventually felt compelled to open a second check-in desk.
