Hotel terbaik di Cologne

The Hotel shows five stars! The room had no wifi whatsoever, although they showed three different wifi lans. Attempts to bridge this gap with mobile hotspots were not helpful. Noises from other rooms were audible, which means a bad noise insulation. Worst of all was that there was first only boiling hot water in the bathroom. This was due to the fact that all cold water supplies were closed. Still after opening them ourselves, one of the two lavatories cold water regulator was not functional. Shocking was that the shower was switching from regulated 38 degrees Celsius to suddenly boiling hot water and then to ice cold water. This made showering an unpleasant not to say dangerous encounter! You judge if this Hotel deserves the five star rating. Our attempt to communicate the shortcomings was prompted with the statement that the maintenance technicians had left! (???)

Pros: Close to downtown, central train station and the cathedral can be reached by tram with one transfer. The spa area was good, with 7 saunas, 3 hot tubs, warm and cold pools and a steam room, so there wa splenty to choose from. One sauna is used for aufguss every hour. Cons: There is NO sound isolation whatsoever between the rooms. I could literally hear the sound of something plumping into water when someone was in the toilet in the next room. It sounded like the walls are made of thin cardboard. They also charged me 8 euros for a bathrobe and slippers, even after I explicitly said I would use my own slippers and they only handed me a towel as per my request. I think I made it abundantly clear that I didn't want to pay for a bathrobe when I suggested I would use my own slippers and a towel which was already in the room, but they still fooled me by handing me an extra towel and making me pay the full price. So it looks like they will take every opportunity to take those 8 euros from you. They should just say up front that spa entry costs 18 euros and not 10, because there is no way to avoid paying those 8 euros anyway.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel and I highly recommend it. The staff was extremely professional and courteous, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the breakfast buffet was particularly impressive. The location was ideal, with stunning views of the city. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Hotel and would gladly stay there again in the future

Very disappointing stay at this hotel. The first room we had was absolutely tiny (the rooms here are all very different!!), the shower leaked and I had to nearly beg the clerk on the desk for a towel and he could only give me one. There was no coffee machine in the room and apparently not all the rooms have coffee machines!!! I asked to be moved and we moved to another room which was definitely better and a lot larger, though also the shower there actually clogged for me (though it did work for my partner, not sure exactly how). The internet there is TERRIBLE. Most hotel internets can be slow, but this was unbearably slow. The breakfast is not included (it is 15 euro) and I refused to do it after seeing what my partner got which included stale white bread and liquid eggs, which I think should NEVER be included in a breakfast you have to pay extra for. Also, there were a lot of issues with the lighting in the rooms, I mean in the 2nd better room the bedroom lights had 2 different kinds of light bulbs!!! The left side was a pleasant yellow-glow lightbulb while the other was a harsh white halogen/LED bulb. Why??? There was a definite lack of attention to small details that make a stay in a hotel worth it.

Had a lovely three nights at the Hotel Imperial. In fact, it was our favourite hotel of the three we stayed in whilst travelling around Germany for a week. The hotel is in an ideal location and a 5-10 minute walk from Venloerstrasse-a street with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. In fact it’s much better to get a meal here as opposed to some of the tourist traps nearer the Altstadt. You can walk from the hotel to the Cathedral in about 35 mins or otherwise the public transport is 5-10 mins walk. We had a very comfortable and quiet room on the third floor. All amenities we needed were provided. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A shout out to Hert Engelmann who was patient and complimentary with my rusty German and who gave us some excellent t restaurant tips. Would definitely return.

There isn't really much point writing a review in terms of informing the hotel as all the faults keep being written on here but clearly the hotel has no intention of addressing them but for any future guests ....here goes!! 1. No toiletries provided. Had to ask twice and got two tiny bars of soap. Empty toiletries boxes from previous occupants just left on the sink for three days. 2.Rooms far too hot and the aircon seems non responsive. 3. Rooms really dark as the lighting is inadequate. 4. No glasses left in the room and when we asked for some they left two tiny champagne flute style ones!!! 5. Pillows like cotton wool. 6. Sink didn't have plug until we asked for one. 7. Shower just handheld over the bath with no shower curtain so bathroom floor was flooded. 8. Some write ups of the hotel imply it has leisure/gym but it doesn't as you have to go up the road. 9. Long check in process 10. Asked them to book a taxi to the airport which they didn't 11. The bar is small and really, really dark with little choice of drinks. Over priced and certainly not what I would call 4 star. I think that is probably enough because if after all that you still book then any more issues are unlikely to dissuade you. There is a good point though - it is centrally located.

Lovely hotel in a great location with only a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral. Really comfy bed in a quiet location. The hotel is very clean and the staff are lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again

Arrived mid morning and received a friendly welcome to the hotel. Our room was ready for us and was on the first floor. Spacious room which was clean and had adequate space for storage. Bed was a twin but pushed together which suited us. The bathroom was bright and airy. Toiletries provided which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was help yourself to the buffet style. Lots of choice to suit all tastes. The location was ideal for getting about cologne, We are happy to walk everywhere but you can hire a bike, taxi , train and hop on and off bus. Get the train from the airport which will save on money. Just under €7 for two adults single fare. We really couldn’t fault our stay at this hotel.

We knew that reception opening time was till 22:00 and therefore i wrote, in the booking note, ”late checkin, our flight will land at 21.25”.  I thought that someone was waiting for us to checkin, it was just a matter of 30min. When we arrived, around 22:30, we found the door closed, we rang the bell, but nobody was answering.  We then tried to call the hotel emergency number, none answered. Worried abut the situation, it was night and we were on the street without any accommodation.  We then went into the restaurant beside the hotel entrance and fortunately we found a girl very kind to help us. She also tried to call the emergency number without success. After 5 calls, finally someone answered the phone, but unfortunately she was not able to speak English. I don't speak German, unfortunately, and I passed my phone to the girl of restaurant that talked to the girl from the hotel emergency number. She said that our code was 888, but neither us and the restaurant girl were able to find a pin pad to type this pin. The guy at the phone did not have an idea on where this pin pad could have been. After at least 20 minutes and other 2 calls, the hotel guy told us that the pin pad was in the street close to the ring bell, something really invisible, especially in the night. We finally got the key and entered our room. Together with the key, we got a welcome letter. Unfortunately it was in German and therefore we were not able to read it. Is it a good welcome? When we entered the room, we immediately noticed that it was not very clean and the bathroom even worse. The wc was really dirty (see pictures). We also noticed that a lot of long hairs were on the room/bath floor and on the table. We also found long hairs on bed sheets (see picts). Only half roll of toilet paper was available. We could not fix our issues because in the meanwhile the restaurant closed and if we had called the hotel emergency number, we would not have been able to communicate. The following day, we talked to the receptionist and he really apologized for what happened. He also changed our room, fortunately. We have finally asked for a late checkout for the next day, since our flight is at 22:00. We requested checkout at 18:00 and expected an immediate positive answer, after all problems we had, but the receptionist said that had to ask the boss. After a couple of hours we asked again and she said that we need to wait for tomorrow morning for his answer. The next day, late checkout was denied because the cleaning staff had to clean (?) the rooms. While leaving the hotel, we saw the bed sheets were left (during cleaning service) on the floor ... without any protection and we fully understand why the bed sheets were full of hairs... Having the room not fully cleaned can happen also in the best hotels, but usually a good customer care can fix immediately the issues and maybe add something complimentary to the impacted guest, just to give a strong sign of sorry. We haven't received anyth

Close to Dom / Railway station / Beer museum / shopping streets / view to Rin , clean room, and a very good restaurant with an excellent coffee. Absolutely nothing to complain for a 3 start hotel; except maybe a problem of the city in that area, lately there are too many mice all over. Must go in restaurant even if you have another hotel . Date of stay: October 2023 but I was in 2014 / 2018 Room tip: second floor can be an advantage (noise related); A problem I still have...I did not receive the invoice (via e-mail) even I write them few times , I try to call but no answer.....and I really need it
