My recent stay and my experience was absolutely wonderful! The property was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. A special shoutout to Lyzan, who made my visit memorable. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. Whether it was answering my questions or offering helpful suggestions her dedication truly stood out. It’s rare to come across someone as helpful and genuine as Lyzan, and her outstanding service made all the difference. I highly recommend ITC and hope to return soon!

Look no further for a family friendly stay in Colombo at a stunning hotel with exceptional service. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the ITC Ratnadipa in Colombo and for good reason. From the attentive, friendly staff on arrival (despite our arrival in the middle of the night) to the stunningly appointed rooms, every aspect of our stays there have been exceptional. The breakfast buffet is one of - if not THE - best I’ve experienced in all my stays around the world and the attention to detail is extraordinary: right down to the allergy cards next to EVERY dish (and condiment!). No request is too troublesome for the wonderfully friendly staff and the breakfast experience creates a perfect start to the day. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the various amenities (like lighting, TV and curtains) are centrally automated and, importantly, intuitive (even for a technophobe like myself). The rooms are quiet, easily climate controlled, and very, very comfortable - with excellent Wi-Fi. The infinity pool is a family favourite and is beautifully positioned overlooking the corniche. Again, the pool staff are attentive without being overbearing and the facilities are excellent. But as good as the facilities and the food and rooms are - and they are very, very good - it’s the staff that separates this hotel from most. They are very warm, attentive and were eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I can’t recommend this hotel strongly enough. Will

My 2 night stay at ITC was way too short! I love the hotel. The first I had a few issues with my room and the engineering guy who came to address them is very capable and efficient. Jerome and Rifshaz were kind enough to follow up with me and to treat me to vegan 🌱 afternoon tea on the 29th floor which was so lovely. The spa is absolutely beautiful and I received an excellent massage from Manthi and wonderful blow dry from Janani. The service of the breakfast staff is above and beyond exemplary. Shoutout to Rahuman, manager and Krishna Chamoli, chef who took such incredible care of me ensuring I had delicious and healthy vegan options at breakfast. I am so forever grateful and happy with my experience. I would love to stay here again!

After having an issue at the apartment I was staying in, I made a last minute booking at the ITC which was located just a few minutes away. It was just a 1 night stay which I booked using Marriott points. ITC ONE WATERFRONT ROOM: this is the second category room on offer, priced only a little bit higher than the entry level Towers room in either cash or points terms. It definitely didn’t feel like a second category room however, with an advertised 70m of space and a funky curved design due to its corner location. The two highlights of the room were the opulent bathroom and the sprawling wraparound balcony which included ocean views on one side and city views on the other. There was a lot of tech in the room such as electric drapes and a full iPad controller which included room service, lighting, etc. On the whole the room felt very high-end and luxurious, and I don’t think there is any other hotel in Colombo on the same level. It was easily a couple of notches above the Shangri-La hotel next door which I have stayed in previously. POOL: the hotel has a long, narrow infinity pool with ocean views. It is not the largest of areas with perhaps a dozen sun loungers or so plus a few day beds, but it was beautifully designed and the views were excellent, especially around sunset time. I liked the house music soundtrack playing during the daytime, and it seemed a great place to chill out and forget you were in a city centre. My chill was however disrupted when I received a bill of 7.5k rupees (£20) for a single cocktail! F&B: due to the hotel being very busy over the Xmas period, breakfast had been moved down into a large banquet hall. This made for quite an awkward and sterile atmosphere given the hall was far too large for the number of guests. That said it was still pretty chaotic with the host struggling to seat people and queues building up at the entrance. The food itself was decent enough without being particularly memorable. We also visited the bar at the hotel, which had good service and decent cocktails, but was surprisingly quiet at the time. SERVICE: patchy overall. Staff members were very friendly and we did have some pleasant interactions at the bar and pool, but there were also some unwarranted delays, for example at check-in where they asked me to take a seat and then left me there for 30 minutes without any information, or for a room service order at 12am for a single dessert which took almost an hour to deliver. I appreciate the hotel only opened 6 months ago, but still would have expected things to run a bit more smoothly. LOCATION: prime location along Galle Face beach but this is also true of several other hotels all clustered in the same area. The ever popular One Galle Face shopping mall is just around the corner albeit there are often queues to get in. Several other restaurants and shops are just a short taxi or tuk tuk ride away. CONCLUSION: as of December 2024 this was the newest and flashiest luxury hotel in Colombo

Two weeks ago , I came to attend a wedding at ITC. The minute I stepped in , sole of my shoe separated. Suresh from front entrance went out of the way to fix it. He was so helpful. I couldn't have done anything without his help. Thank you Suresh. You are great.

We had a fantastic stay at ITC Ratnadipa on NYE. Could not have asked for a better way to start the New Year 2025. What honestly stands out at ITC is the amazing service provided by their staff who are genuinely very kind and warm and makes you feel very welcomed. Everything from check-in to the end of our stay was very smooth and well taken care of apart from a slight delay to get our room which was promptly sorted out. Thanks to Rif for all your attention to it and Kaushalya for taking us to our room and showing us around. We stayed at one of the ITC One rooms which had an unbelievably massive balcony with amazing ocean and city views. The rooms are very spacious and have a lot of smart control features and perfect for relaxing. The hotel has some beautiful interior areas that is fun to explore including the 2nd floor lobby area that is absolutely stunning. Loved the luxury hours as well as the NYE party at Ahasa with the most remarkable and friendly service provided by the team at Ahasa. Their warmth and level of care truly stands out from any other hotel restaurants/bars in Colombo and we really had a great time celebrating with good food, drinks, music and great company. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide and good selection of food from multiple cuisines and we really enjoyed it. The infinity pool on the 4th floor is beautiful and breathtaking. It’s the perfect place to relax and have a peaceful morning. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I can definitely recommend it as one of the best stays in Colombo and I hope that they continue to maintain the amazing customer service that truly made our stay memorable. My only comment that’s a minus would the current 1st floor lobby entrance which is very underwhelming as the first impression of such a beautiful hotel.
