ITC Ratnadipa, the newest 5-star property in Sri Lanka, offers some of the most stunning sea views that left me absolutely mesmerized. True to ITC's reputation for exceptional hospitality, I received a warm and gracious welcome from Lyzanne upon arrival. As I waited for the check-in formalities to be completed, a refreshing welcome drink was served, which was a perfect way to beat the humidity. The room I stayed in was truly exceptional, offering a breathtaking view of the sea. I can't thank ITC enough for making this experience so memorable. Given that my trip was a mix of business and leisure, we opted to hire a car from the hotel. The service was impeccable, with a comfortable car and a knowledgeable driver who ensured we explored the city with ease. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the most beautiful sunset from the 29th floor while savouring some delicious cocktails and snacks. If you're staying at ITC Ratnadipa, make sure not to miss this magical moment. I was delighted to see a variety of local Sri Lankan dishes at the buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Though I am not usually a buffet person, I made it a point to try one or two local dishes each morning and treated myself to a grand Sri Lankan lunch, expertly curated by Chef Rohan and his talented team. A special mention must go to my butler, Vonisha, who kept track of all my schedules and made my stay so smooth and enjoyable. Thank you, Vonisha, for your attentive services. At ITC Ratnadipa, you can expect rooms with stunning sea views, warm hospitality, and an array of traditional Sri Lankan delicacies. Kudos to Arjun Deep Shad and Sujeet Kumar for leading such a wonderful team that truly treats guests with warmth and care.

We held a family gathering at ITC Ratnadeepa. It was a fantastic experience with my family. A warm greeting and excellent service were provided, and the cuisine was tasty and varied. Special thanks to Arshad (Restaurant Manager) and waitress Shiromi, who provided excellent service. We had a fantastic day and hope to return.

Customer service is very good. Friendly staff. Beautiful location. Bar is really nice and drinks and bites are really good. But the dinner buffet is average. Theres no enough varieties. Not worth for the buffet price. Overall, good experience but the food needs to be improved.

We went to the Indian Ocean Pavilion for dinner. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. They made sure everything was satisfactory. Thilanka was serving our table and he was very prompt and helpful & always with a smile. Will definitely visit again.

From arrival, I could tell the ITC has a level of attention to detail that will not be beat. We had a long day of travel from India, we were greeted by a hotel driver upon getting our luggage. He did forget his phone and we made a pit stop at the driver rest home, which was interesting, but he was expedient - running in and out within moments. He got us safely to the city and showed us landmarks along the way. It was around $45 for airport transportation in a standard vehicle. On getting to the hotel and lots of moving parts on arrival with our luggage through securtiy, Sefani - a customer service host - saw the exhaustion on our faces and started taking care of us immediately. She showed us to the lobby to check in, got us a beautiful welcome gift with our status and ensured we had time to get to the Luxury Hour in the lounge for bites since we were exhausted and hungry. She ensured our checkin was smooth and rooms near one another. We saw her again the next morning at breakfast greeting guests and checking on them. She was so pleasant. After going to Ahasa for the cocktail hour, and experiencing the superb service, I knew the rooms were going to be amazing. I got to my room and immediately saw I was right. It was BEAUTIFUL. The iPad to control the room was a pleasant touch. The balcony view was fantastic and the ocean breeze each evening was so nice. The room was clean and I always check every crevice - to include the bathrooms. I wish I knew who the housekeeper was to give kudos to - especially at this level of luxury, it was someone who needed to be celebrated. I went on my balcony each night, but was unable to enjoy it due to the smoking of my neighbors. I do believe smoking was not permitted in the room, so people were doing it on the balcony despite no ash trays present- they were dumping ashes over the balcony. This is something to be addressed for everyone to enjoy. Since they just opened in April, there are a few kinks to be worked out, but the staff was working diligently to address anything that arose. I had side table night lights malfunctioning one evening, off and on every 15 seconds, which made it tough to sleep (and calling engineering late at night as a solo business traveler - I wasn't comfortable with), but I mentioned it and showed a video at breakfast to the customer service representative and it was handled by my return from the office. Apparently they tried to reach me to go to afternoon tea as an apology for the lack of sleep, but I was at the office. Subsequent to that, they reached out and the manager apologized and asked to find a way to compensate me. Which I accepted. The breakfast options are top notch, with anything your heart desires. A little more attention to the tables when people vacate so others can sit - would have been helpful, I didn't know where to sit at times. There were so many dinner and lounge options - but the Ahasa quickly became a staple for after work decompressing. We did walk

ITC Hotel in Colombo is like my second house for me and my family. ITC, which has a luxurious ambiance, great hospitality, and amazingly wide variety food, is highly recommended! coffee shop on the 2nd floor serves decent coffee, and a buffet restaurant on the 3rd floor provides fresh, healthy and delicious food and the bridge lounge on the 29th offers calm high-tea time with an amazing sunset view. All staff are very well trained so they make you feel comfortable. Especially I want to say thank you to a general manager Sujeet, a very generous manager Jalill and a Chef chamanta and a lady staff Tarushi. We can have a great life in SL because of you all.. Thank you so much.

Hotel is quiet good... nice ambience with good hospitality...Best hotel in colombo to stay Mr.Lasantha has attended me at breakfast quiet nicely. I had wonderful stay in ITC ratnadipa...would love to visit here again and suggest ppl as well

Yijing restaurant is the best I had so much of fun with my family the food was amazing and I loved the view the service was amazingly great and the service as good as everyone else they helped us get in the restaurant and guided us very well until we sat down

ITC Ratnadipa is hands down the best property in Sri Lanka. It has a serene and unblocked view of the beautiful Indian Ocean. The rooms are equipped with the latest technology. They have seven restaurants to choose from, and the food is delicious across their restaurants. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly and took great care of our dietary needs. We had one of our best holidays in recent times at ITC Ratnadipa.

Great service from Lasantha during breakfast. Is good to give dressing code notices when inviting visitors to held. Coffe machine of room 2006 is not properly functioning. Provite vanity and dental kit please. All staff in general are so perfectly operating, great feeling and beautiful experience.
