Jean and Hélène are the most gracious, friendly, and welcoming hosts we have ever encountered. They have a deep knowledge of their beautiful district and share that knowledge generously. They will also recommend and book restaurants for their guests - great for those not familiar with the area. We will return!

I cannot say enough about Hélène and Jean and their wonderful inn! Nothing is too much for them and they always have the comfort of their guests in mind and hope to make your visit to the region the very best it can be. Hélène is a fount of knowledge about the area and the history of all the little hilltowns nearby and is at the ready to make a reservation for lunch or dinner at any one of many restaurants nearby. Sharing an aperitif with Jean in the evening is always fun and a great opportunity to connect with other guests. If you are looking for a quiet retreat off the beaten path, consider Les Bruhasses. We loved this beautiful farmhouse turned B&B. Helene was so welcoming and helpful with planning what sites to see in the area. We sat outside and had a little glass of wine and chatted with her for a bit. It was the most beautiful and peaceful place we stayed at while in France. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfast so delicious with fresh baked muffins and croissants. Our stay here was perfect and we would love to come back for another visit.

We recently stayed at Les Bruhasses for the 4th or was it the 5th time. We love coming to this wonderful Maison d'Hote and have introduced a number of family members and friends to this special place. Our most recent visit was with my brother and sister in law, visiting from Australia. It was their first time in le Gers. They loved everything about their stay at Les Bruhasses. The property, the rooms, the decor and the facilities are outstanding - as is the delicious breakfast. But it's the warm welcome and generous hospitality from Helene and Jean Royer that really set Les Bruhasses apart. We are looking forward to our next stay. Les Bruhasses remains one of our favorite places to stay, anywhere in the world. This was our second visit, and the experience was just as good if not better than the first. The elegant manor house is gorgeous, and the guest rooms are beautifully decorated in period pieces. The beds are comfy. Furthermore, the grounds are breathtaking. Each morning over homemade pastries, Hélène helps each party plan for their day in Gascony. With her connections throughout the area, you are guaranteed amazing experiences. Apéro hour is on the terrace nightly at 6:30 with excellent wines from the family vineyard. If Hélène is cooking, do not pass on your chance to eat a delicious, three course, home-cooked dinner with paired wines at the Table d'Hôtes. All of this and it is remarkably affordable! Best of all Hélène and Jean are some of the best people you will ever meet. I realize I have run out of superlatives. I first booked here based on similar reviews. I worried that my expectations might have been too high. As good as the reviews are, the actual experience blows them out of the water. Stop reading and book now. You will not regret it!

My wife and I along with another couple spent 3 wonderful nights at Les Bruhasses. It is a beautiful B&B in the countryside outside of Condom. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the breakfasts delicious. Helene and her husband were gracious hosts who are very knowledgeable about the history of the area and gave us many great recommendations for sightseeing and nearby restaurants. Helene even helped us find a cooking class in Condom which was a highlight for us. We highly recommend this B&B if you are visiting the Condom area.

Cannot praise this Maison enough. Helene and Jean made our stay in their stunning chateaux a truely remarkable French experience: food, tourist information and aperitifs with other guests where Shriner shared wine from her family’s winery. Tres bon! Excellent value fir money. The Gers region offered a diversity of things for us to do, including Roman relics, ancient castles, churches, forts and villages all set in stunning scenery. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
