Hotel Coron dengan Spa

My boyfriend and I stayed in this resort last March 2023, and we were very satisfied during our stay. After booking one of their deluxe room for two nights only, I've decided to book one night extension just so we could experience one of their premium rooms also. It was his first time flying to Coron because I've been here ever since for work purposes. Upon check-in, I was informed that we were upgraded to their premium room and that made us both so happy! I didn't ask for it, but they were so kind to give us the upgrade. The room was super nice and spacious. I loved the view of the sunset from our balcony! They even granted one of my request to put a slice of chocolate cake in the room because my boyfriend didn't get the chance to celebrate his birthday a few months ago. Staff were busy in the morning. Housekeeping also cleaned our room well and refilled everything from bottled water to bathroom amenities and towels. The location was convenient for us as it's along the main road, and we got ourselves a car rental during our stay so we can go out and come back anytime we want. Their swimming pool is huge! I don't know, but it felt huge because we were running and swimming from one pool to another like kids during our second night at the resort :D. What caught my boyfriend's attention was the Cockatoo by the entrance. We'd always stop by to say hello to the little fella. Overall it was a nice experience for us. See you next time!

Location of this hotel was not convenient. Staff was eager to help but falls short due to ignorance. Everyone was nice enough though and tried their best. Front desk was very helpful in booking excursions and answering questions professionally. Cleanliness was average. The whole room smelled of sewer and I did not get the feeling sanitation was priority. The food was astonishingly mediocre at best. Left over dinner items were used for breakfast the next day. I had to eat breakfast at the hotel simply due to convenience but only stuck with eggs, toast and the somewhat fresh fruits. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again and would pay more to be centrally located in the future

Very nice hotel, just 5 min away from town if you take a ride. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good shower, always hot water, strong AC, lovely pool that you can use until 10 pm. Pool towels also provided. Lots of useful things like toothbrush set, comb, shaver set etc. provided. Mini Bar with some cold drinks - to pay on top but is good to have if you need something asap. The only thing I would not recommend was the restaurant, I didn't really like the food and we were waiting around 1 hour for it to arrive. It was quite pricey as most of the things were described as ”to share”. My partner likes to eat different things so I didn't really like the concept of that menu.

Pros and cons. The island was great, we loved our stay at the cottage. But the service was not so good. Pros: - The island was great. Major plus points for the house reef and grass bed that attracts fish and sea turtles. There were birds and the monitor lizards on the island! - The view from our sunrise cottage was great. The rooms were clean and the toiletries complete. - Transport to and from the island went smoothly. - Massage was great! Cons: - We arrived at around 1pm (official check in time is 3pm). The staff told us they would call us when our room was ready. Many groups of arrivals were steadily being escorted to their rooms but not us. At 230pm I went back to the reception and was told our rooms had been ready earlier! But NO ONE let us know. At this point, they gave me the key card but no one made a move to escort us to our rooms and I had to ask if they could give us our luggage so we can go the room already before the receptionist accompanied us. - There is no comfortable place to wait or change clothes while waiting for your room. Basically people are sitting on the pool loungers in their pants/shoes from the airplane. - We signed up for the hike, we were told some one would text us to confirm time and meeting place, NO ONE called. - Basically, any time they tell you they'll call you, NO ONE did. I had to call multiple times and actually go the reception to get any response. - The restaurant was not full yet it was very hard to get the attention of any server. The food also took 30-40 minutes to serve. Kudos to the one lady server who served our lunch everyday for 3 days, she was the only one who helped us. - Used plates/utensils were left on the restaurant tables for a long time. We sat down as the neighboring party left and we were already done, their plates were still sitting on the table (being snacked on by the birds). This happened every meal (and we're slow eaters, at least 45 minutes). - Towels and plates/cups by the pool loungers also not cleared for hours. - Breakfast and dinner buffet were just okay. Nothing to write home about.

My girlfriend and I just spent four marvelous days at The Funny Lion in Coron. We loved the pools, tropical setting, roof top bar and the fact that we were very near Coron Town, but not part of the hustle and bustle. However, what struck us the most was the incredible friendliness and hospitality of the staff! One quick example... we had a small issue with our room, so the manager heard about it, sought us out at the Roof Top Bar, personally apologized and explained, in detail, what had happened and what they were doing about it. The next day, we happened to meet the General Manager (JB) who was well versed in the issue and extremlely apologetic. Again, it was a small issue! I'm coming back to The Funny Lion and would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is visually beautiful with its blue and white Santorini vibes. The rooms are basic which is to be expected for the price but they are very nice. They are clean and the air conditioning is decent. The staff are very friendly and are happy to help you. The breakfast was good, you choose what you want the night before and its freshly served on the rooftop. The views from the rooftop are stunning. Great to enjoy whilst eating breakfast. Location is good. Just a short walk from the main street where you can find all the restaurants and 'bars' (don't expect much nightlife) Overall great stay and would stay again if we came back to Coron.

The room was hot and didn't have AC, so was just a fan pushing around the warm air. It's an accredited hotel so it will go towards your s-pass. The location is very convenient, you can walk into town and to the boats, everything is close. It's very safe, even has a security guard outside the building during the night. I'd recommend it, but get the room with AC.

I stayed for a total of 4 nights in Blue Waters Inn. My first night, I was alone and then my friend joined me the rest of my stay. It was close to all the restaurants and staff was really accommodating. The bed was very comfy and the hotel was clean. My only issue is that there was no area to hang our wet clothes after island hopping so our room was smelling a bit at the end. Despite that, would definitely stay there again when I go back to Coron :)

I was completely taken back by the quality of the hotel and the friendly nature of all its staff. The impression of the hotel from booking agents does it no justice and value for money you can’t go wrong. Wonderful hotel, the food was adequate and I have no complaints, only fond memories and so much love for Bacua bay and Coron island.
