Hotel Dengan Parking di Berat, Albania

This might be my favourite place in Albania to sleep. The staff were great, the free breakfast was huge. So good. The view is stunning. A castle in your back yard. Private parking. The room was perfect. Sit on the roof top for breakfast. Absolutely amazing.

L’accueil parfait. Le petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits frais fermiers -excellent . La chambre spacieuse avec des finitions soignées et une décoration dans un style traditionnel vous plonge dans une ambiance chaleureuse qu’on emporte avec soi.

Mooi en schoon hotel. Hele ruime kamers en een mooi zwembad. Let op je moet wel extra voor het zwembad betalen. Erg vriendelijk personeel, goed en lekker ontbijt en lekker dicht bij het centrum. Zeker aan te raden!

We enjoyed our stay and definitely loved the room - spacious, aesthetically pleasing and very clean. The hotel allowed us to park on the street in front, and also had ample parking in a backlot behind it. Breakfast was at another hotel (Hotel Gega) just a minute's walk , as the main restaurant in Hotel Plaza is not ready yet. Overall, very satisfying trip to Berat!! If you are planning a trip to the beautiful city of Berat, I cannot recommend Hotel Onufri highly enough. From the moment we arrived, our experience was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of the historic Mangalem quarter, and while navigating the steep cobblestone streets can be an adventure, the incredibly helpful staff made everything completely stress-free. They went out of their way to assist us with our car and ensured we were comfortable from the very first minute. Their warm hospitality and genuinely nice service truly set the tone for our entire stay. Our room was nothing short of amazing. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, perfectly blending traditional Albanian charm with modern amenities. You can tell the staff takes great pride in their property because the attention to detail and cleanliness in the rooms is flawless. However, the absolute highlight of our stay was the breathtaking scenery. Because of the hotel’s perfect position on the hill, our room provided a stunning, panoramic view of the famous ”City of a Thousand Windows” and the river valley below. Waking up to that view was unforgettable. If you are looking for an authentic atmosphere, caring staff, spotless accommodations, and some of the best sights in Berat, you should definitely stay here. We had a wonderful time and would return in a heartbeat!

Fijn hotel, goed gelegen. Uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Heel goed ontbijt en restaurant. Boden ook wasservice.

we were pretty happy with our assigned room, except that we had to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to it. There was no kettle but we were given one when we requested. No table, so we had to place the kettle on the floor to boil our water. Though not marketed as an AIRBNB, it operates like one, though there must be at least a dozen rooms in this building. There's no reception desk! When we arrived, we walked thru an open door and waited some minutes inside a ”waiting area” before someone appeared to hand the keys to us. When he left we were left wondering how we would ask for help if we needed it - there's no phone in our room, or anywhere in the building! Thankfully, the few times we wanted help, someone miraculously showed up!!

Great place to stay, good location and winery visit was interesting.  Good place to relax and good food
