Hotel Palia Don Pedro

Well, after reading some of the reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was fairly last minute and cheaper than some hotels that had breakfast only in other resorts. Being all inclusive, it worked out a cheap holiday, which is what we wanted. I had not been to this resort before and probably won’t return. It’s a bit weird. There is no real beach and the walks sometime end in dead ends. Some parts are really run down and it all feels a bit unfinished. There are nice areas though, like the harbour. The hotel is a bit different. It was obviously built to a budget in the 80’s and whoever was in charge of maintenance and upkeep most likely left a long time ago. Everything and I mean everything is tired. It needs far more than a lock of paint, but we knew what we were getting reading other reviews. I have to say, the restaurant food is very good for an all inclusive, one of the best I have had in the canaries. Plenty of choice and good quality, though get there early as they can’t keep up with the washing up and run out of cups and cutlery. The staff are mostly friendly, though noticeably friendlier with non English people. The bar is weird. Dated and doesn’t always open on time. Snacks are basic and not available all day and as others have said, drinks are served in the smallest paper cups. They could make life a lot easier by serving proper sized drinks and you wouldn't have to keep getting two at a time! The hotel and rooms are clean, but very very dated and tired beyond repair. We had a note through our door on our second day saying we should expect workmen to carry out essential upgrades. I thought this was long overdue, but rather than putting on a wardrobe door, straightening lighting switches, fixing flickering lights, finishing painting door surrounds or removing exposed wires, we came back to a new coffee table, which was probably the only thing in the room that didn’t need replacing! If you want to stay in a nice, modern, well equipped hotel in a nice resort near a beach, forget it. This is not the place. If you just want a few cheap days in the sun with good food then it is ok.

Hotel is very dated, rooms need tidying up and more utensils provided. If all inclusive, drinks served only in paper cups. Not very satisfying. Entertainment was OK and Entertainment staff worked very hard. All inclusive finished at 1030pm, could have been extended. Food? Always something for everybody, fish very good. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would I return? For a chilled out and relaxing break, yes. If you want morelively, no.

Hotel needs a bit updating but the restaurant and the drinks were good pool never really went so can’t complain Night time entertainment not my cup of tea drinks served in paper cups usually drank in the restaurant out of a glass but that’s just me for wat it cost at Xmas time value for money would have been disappointing if I paid a lot more but nice for a cheap Holliday away nice local bar around the corner our place has the darts and all the footy on and a lovely Indian restaurant around the corner definitely go back as long as it’s cheap

The hotel is basic, but had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and tidy, outdated but we didn’t spend much time in the rooms. The pool was freezing but it was December ☺️ The food was great, fresh cooking station at dinner, lots of fish dishes and fresh salads. We did not go hungry. The hotel is a little out the way, a nice bar down the road called our place that showed live sport. We went to los cris a couple times. 1.50 on a bus and we got a cab back, around 23-25 euro. Cab to the airport was the same. Would probs not stay again in the summer due to lack of air con ( only a ceiling fan) and had to pay for wifi, 6 euro a day and only one device. Also which I thought was odd, the remove the AI wrists band at12 and ask if you want to pay 10 euro each for lunch/dinner voucher. All in all a lovely stay, basic and clean not much to moan about! The hotel staff were lovely and the day time entertainment was great. I don’t understand the rubbish reviews, you pay for what you get and it was great base!!

Had a great time over Christmas here stayed for two weeks the rooms are a bit dated but we're cleaned every day the food was nice and a good choice staff are all nice and a big shout out to Jose being the bar such a great guy.Dont bother with the WiFi not worth the money would return to this hotel again but beware it is a distance from Las americas if your looking for a night out there's not much around the hotel area.

All good enough, good value for money. A great place to discover Tenerife, with easy access to many local attractions. The hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, but it’s important to remember that the best fun is outside the hotel – explore the island and enjoy its stunning sights.
