The experience was really amazing. It was very romantic and calming. Loved the vintage style. Everything was up to point. I would highly recommend it.

Over all our experience was good, the service was fantastic. Staff was friendly and attentive. The facilities was what I expected clear and comfortable.

We were able to check in at 3.00pm. Room was very nice, slippers and robes provided and the tea/coffee facilities had the added benefit of a coffee machine. Bed was very comfy and warm with lovely pillows. Breakfast was good. Everything there that you would expect, cooked well and hot. We were a little disappointed though on the morning of departure when we attempted to get the lift down to reception only to find when it arrived that the maids trolley had been placed in there so we had to use the stairs. This caused a problem for my husband who suffers with his hip. Secondly, on leaving we were not informed that the barrier was open. We saw the sign in the car park saying we needed to get a token from reception, so we drove back and went in to reception to ask, only to be informed we didn’t need one. It would have been helpful to have had this information on checkout. Other than this everything else was good

Other than the location (on the University of Warwick campus itself) the hotel is at best like a Premier Inn or other such budget hotel. It feels and looks like a dorm. One note to anyone walking from campus to hotel: there is no direct access from Arts Centre plaza. You have to walk all the way around business school to access car park. This was very inconvenient in the rain as it added a 5 mins walk. The room was spacious and clean, though the bathroom sink was clogged when I checked in. Resolved the next day (though the first answer I received when asking for repair was that I may have to move). On second night the hearing went out; housekeeping brought a small radiator heater… no repairman came, however. Resolved the next day. The food was cafeteria quality (both breakfast and dining room). I recommend eating elsewhere. Bar was ok, but not great. Overall, I would recommend a different hotel for the price, and taking a cab to campus. Sorry

Breakfast service was amazing , the manager was the loveliest ,she made us feel really welcomed and comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay!

Best swimming pool in Conventry, extra £5 per day per visitor, so I didn’t join. Self-check in, no service. Pub and Starbucks downstairs, Friday 4pm onwards free car park until Sunday. Weekday parking fee applies.

Stayed for 2 nights with work. Smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Dated carpets and decor, no wardrobe, just a shelf to hang clothes on. Feels like lower budget (with the greatest respect) than a Travelodge but at around twice the price. The room at the front of the hotel was directly facing the dual carriageway which was about 20 metres away. That plus the poorly performing double glazing had the effect of every car whizzing by feeling like I was sat on the hard shoulder, such was the noise level. Paper thin curtains did nothing to blockout the noise or the near 5000watt street lamp shining directly into my room. The paper thin walls did nothing to deafen the noises from guests in other rooms or in the corridors. Consequently I had a very poor night's sleep and woke-up feeling terrible. The restaurant was poor, the menu very limited and the decor and atmosphere was depressing. I felt the need to get out of there quickly or I may never leave. Felt like I was on death row. I found myself staring wistfully and longingly across the dual carriageway at the Windmill Village Hotel directly across the road. The people; smiling, happy to be there, enjoying their time, content, peaceful and appreciated and in nice surroundings. 'Sigh'. I stayed here for two nights. After the first night I even considered leaving and paying to go somewhere else at my own expense, just so I didn't have to suffer again this awful place. The hotel feels unkempt, unhappy and unloved which is how I felt when I drove slowly away...

The hotel is perfect for a couples weekend away, the receptionist can’t remember her name was amazing and upgraded our room free of charge too

The hotel is in a really good location and is clean! The room is a good size and has everything you need from tea and coffee an iron and a hair dryer. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. The only problem I had was that every where in the hotel was very hot the room does have air con tho so once your in there it’s ok. We would stay there again
