Camping Bella Sardinia

This is a very efficient structured operated campsite. Check-in is well organised and regimented with you shown to specific good sized pitch in a beautiful well shaded pine forest. It is mixture of touring pitches, seasonal and various cabins. Showers were excellent. The restaurant (full menu and take out pizza ) looked popular and good. Supermarket shop was excellent- good selection and fair prices. The hire shop was magnificent- everything from kettles to bikes. Main bar was pleasant in the shade in the forest, but excellent one on beach with fabulous views. All the games - table tennis, boules and crazy golf (agree with previous review needs a bit of maintenance) were great. Highlight of campsite was excellent sandy beach for miles with lovely gentle slope into water. Disappointed though that the campsite charged campers extra if you wanted sunbeds and umbrella- E7 after 14 hours. Not clearly advertised anywhere or that we could see on booking/website. I had a bit of disagreement with Reception over the identification tag they insisted on you wearing ‘for security’. I prefer to wear these tag things on my ankle as at bedtime when on my wrist I scratch my face with them and it disturbs my sleep. Gracious, you would have thought I was asking to stay free of charge. There was just no compromise initially. I will give the Reception lady credit for enforcing the rules so strictly - she was good and could have a promising career in the enforcement services. It was a bit unpleasant though - I was not saying I would not wear it - they wouldn’t let me put it on myself either - and kept reiterating that I knew when I booked I had to wear it as it was a condition of booking. I accept that but having checked what we were sent it does not stipulate it has to be worn on my wrist. I feel they were very harsh, and it’s left an unpleasant memory of the place. Also, be aware if you book online on their website to stay within 30 days of booking, then amend it they will still charge you the original booking. Whereas if you just arrive on spec and say you are staying 4 nights but leave after 3, you only get charged for the 3. We had booked online 5 nights, but had to leave a night early as our ferry crossing charged. We had not paid in full in advance (except a deposit) but they still refused to only charge us for the 4 nights we stayed and insisted we paid the 5 nights booked. Again, we felt harsh. We understand they are a business but they could have been a little more compassionate.

Did not meet the expectations described on there advert. Absolutely no Internet or WiFi. We needed to book something ,took 3 hours trying to get enough signal. Even inside the building we could not get their WiFi which was cutting out and when working ridiculous slow.

It is a very peaceful place and we were in the middle of nature as the cabins are nestled in a pine forest, it smells lovely. The pool is nice and big and has a fun slide for the children, the beach is just a few minutes walk away from the pool and is really nice, the beach bar is good too. The restaurant by the cabins is really great, staff are lovely and food was delicious and varied. Take away pizza was also an option which was nice handy. The shop was good, reasonably priced and had everything you might need although it is only open a couple of hours in the morning and again in the evening so you had to be organised and check your watch. The bike hire was fab and we enjoyed the tennis court too. The crazy golf needs a bit of TLC though. The only negatives were... The swimming hats, you had to wear one to enter the pool which is very bizarre for a summer holiday - no one wants photos in these haha. Also the lifeguard at the pool, he was only there occasionally but he took the fun out of EVERYTHING e/g no jumping in, no splashing, no balls, no inflatables, no pushing each other in - his whistle was constantly being blown at some poor child every 3 seconds. The days the lifeguard wasn't there were much preferred and welcomed. The only other negative (or some may see as a positive) is you do really need a car to stay here as it is literally in the middle of nowhere, you can not wander along the coast to a local town/bar/restaurant etc there is nothing near by at all. Luckily we did have a car for the two weeks so had some lovely days out, there is alot to do and see it is just a 30 min to 2 hour drive away to see them.

We had a perfect family vacation here with our two children and our camper. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. We came from Germany with the ferry - Tirrenia is not to be recommended (the cabins have been old and not cleaned well enough). But the campsite "Bella Sardinia" is definetely to be recommended: Friendly staff everywhere, very organized, clean and very good prices (Pizza Margaritha at the restaurant was only 5 Euro and a beer at the beachbar only 2,5o Euro). Our campsite was in the shadows under pine trees and we loved it. The bathrooms where cleaned twice a day. The beach was great - we rented 2 chairs and an umbrella, which was a fantastic idea given the heat and the sand. The water was great - the children loved the waves. The pools have been good - a nice twist of our routine to go the pool instead of the beach. You need a swimming cap for the pool - it can be purchased at the supermarket on the premise for only 2,50 Euro. We had bikes, so that the 300 - 400 meters from campsite to the beach have not been an issue for us. On the pool but also at the beach there has been a lifeguard, which I found very comforting. The sea can be difficult, when there is wind and then its good that the lifeguard is watching over the people and tells them, what is ok and what not. The prices at the supermarket on the premise have been also very good - not too expensive - they have everything you need. The bar serves nice cocktails and we loved the mini disco at the evenings, which was funny for the kids but also for the adults :-) So, we had a great vacation and will definetely come back !

We live in Sardinia for a period and we came to this camping to visit our friends who were renting a bungalow with their kids. They had left the info about us and our arrival a day before our visit but unfortunately, the receptionist didn't find any of it. We were surprised that we had to pay the amount of €25 for two adults and a baby just for the entrance on foot because we parked outside. We reasonably asked what that fee included and the receptionist said: "You can use toilets and showers". 25 euro for a public toilet is unbelievable considering that our friends had a private toilet. Anyway, once paid we entered and realized that there was no phone reception. None of our mobiles worked so we couldn't call our friends to ask about their position. Obviously, we asked the receptionist for help but she said that they have no information about guests so she couldn't let our friends know about us. . That's crazy! Because if it is really so, how could they provide safety, e.g. in case of emergency, and why do they take the IDs at the entrance? It was a clear excuse to be unhelpful. Well, we spent one hour and twenty minutes looking for our friends. The campsite is full of water pipes that make it impossible for strollers and wheelchairs. The territory is pretty wild and badly organized. The litter areas were dirty and full of insects. Once found our friends we went to the beach. The sea in that area is not appropriate for small children due to the underwater streams and depth. And HA-HA! We had to pay for the toilets on the beach! Well, the day after our friends had another visit and it was even worse than ours. I think customer care and sympathy are not a strong point of this place and the camp itself is really primitive. If you travel with little children, it's out of choice for sure. We were treated so badly that cannot recommend this place.

Camping non entretenu avec détritus au sols … ancienne terrasse au milieu des bungalow … fils électrique et évacuation au milieu des habitations légères .. malgré l indication sur le site personne ne parle français … beaucoup de vis à vis avec les bungalow surtout quand vous vous retrouvez au milieu d’une Colonie de Vacances … le restaurant est très bien et pas cher … le bar moyen les cocktails ne sont pas top … petite supérette avec quelques produit … plages ( sale) a environ 10 minutes à pied si vous avez le choix prenez un autre camping

Emplacement correct mais pas de délimitations, un simple piquet avec le numéro . Accueil militaire donc mitigé . Aire de services des camping car, un sans possibilité de vidanger les eaux grises et l autre absolument immonde . La plage est sale et que dire des odeurs ! Tout cela pour 34 euros hors saison , à fuir absolument

les plus: camping très ombragé sous les pins, calme, pas ou peu de vis à vis mobile home climatisé coffre( le notre ne fonctionnait pas) belle terrasse couverte accès direct à une belle plage 1 bar de plage, de bonnes pizzas. Les moins: pas de sourires à l'accueil ne parlait pas français, mobile home très ancien et salle d'eau sale et très vétuste pas de wifi sauf au bar, pas de télévision pas de possibilité de garer sa voiture à côté du mobil home (pour les courses...)très petit réfrigérateur une radio mais aucune station ne peut être capté pas d'allée marquée donc beaucoup de passages à côté de votre mobile home. Nous avons été au bar de plage qui fait des cocktails mais pas de rhum donc la moitié de la carte impossible les tables ne sont pas nettoyés donc sales nous étions de le mobile home vacances select N°6

sono molti anni che vengo in questo campeggio, bellissimo, gli altri anni quando c’era Giovanni a capo animazione era fantastico e si respirava un clima di tranquillità per tutti. Quest’anno con capo animazione francesco mi sono trovata veramente male, Ben, Chiara, Delia animatori veramente fantastici, sanno prendere in modo meraviglioso i bambini e i ragazzi e si vede che amano ciò che fanno. Francesco invece è proprio pessimo, arrogante, frustato e tratta malissimo gli animatori anche nel palco di fronte agli ospiti. Non sapendo parlare una lingua al di fuori dell’italiano, chiede a Delia di tradurre, e si comporta in modo arrogante con lei dicendo di tradurre bene e di ascoltarlo e come se non bastasse la zittisce in malo modo di fronte a tutti facendola rimanere male. Ben è un’animatore fantastico gentile e si vede proprio che è bravo così come Chiara. Francesco si crede simpatico ma è tutto il contrario e molte persone se ne stanno lamentando, vuole essere il migliore e non vuole che nessuno lo ostacoli, egoista e immaturo. Molto meglio quando c’era a capo animazione Giovanni almeno ogni giorno si faceva qualcosa di diverso. Tornerei se solo non ci fosse lui
