Really nice oasis of a retreat, very relaxing. Great service and staff were very helpful. Close to the beach and nice and quiet with lovely veranda areas. It had rained so some mosquitoes but they can't get into the rooms and the hotel helpfully supplies mosquito coils to burn outside.

Heel sfeervol en comfortabel. Fijn personeel en heerlijke massages. Lekker en gezond ontbijt! Alles klopt! Aanrader!

Our family has a wonderful time staying with Buena Vida. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and resourceful. The place exude a tranquil and relaxing vibe. Special mention has to be made for Lorenza, the manager of the resort. She helped organise all the transport logistics, coordination with dive shop, and made great suggestions for activities. She is always so positive, friendly, personable, and energetic! Her husband, Toto, is the best Diving instructor we have ever met, and he also happen to work at the Ocean Explorer dive shop which is associated with Buena Vida resort. What a wonderful couple! This is certainly one of the most happy and memorable family vacations we had!

The charming beauty of Buena Vida calms both the body and soul. From the intricate Hindu sculptures and powerful quotes on the walls, everything about this resort gives a feeling of serenity. On top of that, the resort connects to delicious restaurants of a variety of cuisines, making for an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a break from the oversaturation of the modern city, Buena Vida just may be my resort of choice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Buena Vida! It was really convenient as it's super close to the Sea Explorers dive shop where I was completely the PADI course. Excellent service from all the staff, especially hotel manager Lorenza, who was super friendly and outgoing. Also, I loved the wonderful cakes delivered to us every night by hotel staff!

Although the trip to the resort was physically draining, the location was amazing, the staff welcomed us in and we were treated well, the rooms were also great considering the location, and was close to all the dive shops and restaurants we wanted to go to.

The overall experience was excellent, the staff were extremely polite, greeting you each time you enter, everything is exceedingly clean, there are many facilities you can enjoy easily like the spa or the yoga, there are also complementary snacks at your door with a greeting card each day. Ms Lorenza, the manager is also incredibly helpful and nice.

Buena Vida is a beautiful resort. It has a beautiful vibe and very cozy and homey feel. The staff and cleaners all made us feel welcome upon arrival and made sure we felt comfortable and that we were free to ask for anything we needed at any time throughout our stay. We were also able to request a romantic package which is perfect for couples. It includes a spa massage, a private jacuzzi and an intimate dinner for two which is perfect for anniversary celebration. I highly recommend Buena Vida resort if you are planning on making a visit to Malapascua Island. We cant wait to be back.

We stayed at BV for about 7 nights (end of Oct. 2023) with a group of divers, discovering malapascua. I had a double room on the 1. floor with my girlfriend and it was really nice. Everything was clean, nicely decorated and there was truly enough space for our staff also in the bathroom. Our highlight was the huge balcony with a view into the beautiful tropical garden of the Buena Vida. The service was perfect and the stuff were always friendly and helpful: Carrying the luggage, beach towels, small sweets with some greetings every evening 😋, minibar with regular and fair prices, amazing massages (also to good prices), arranging transfers, … We would love to come back again!!!

Very friendly staff. Nice ambiance. Very relaxing garden view. Very good food and refreshments. I will stay here again.

Das Hotel ‚Buena Vida‘ ist einige wenige Gehminuten vom Strand weg, arbeitet aber eng mit anderen Einrichtungen ganz vorne am Strand zusammen. Das Morgenessen nimmt man z.B. im ‚Ocean Vida’ beim Strand ein. Das Hotel ist sauber, verfügt über einen kleinen Spa und ein kleines Gym. Das Personal ist nett. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es eine tolle Crossfit Box. Vorne am Strand hat es mehrere Tauchschulen, unter anderem die Sea Explorers. Eine wirklich tolle Tauchschule, bei der wir mehrere Tauchgänge gemacht haben.

Nettes Hotel, Zimmer eher klein, dafür grosszügige Terrasse, Bad eher Basic, man duscht mit gefiltertem Salzwasser, hat aber einen Kübel mit Frischwasser im Bad, um sich abzuspülen, das Hotel ist ein wenig zurückversetzt und nicht direkt am Strand, man kann aber im Schwesterhotel am Strand liegen und bekommt dort auch das Frühstück (shr gutes Essen in diesem Restaurant!) Freundliches Personal, Spa war ok, Gym vorhanden, jedoch mager ausgestattet
