Caravan by Habitas Dakhla

We stayed 4 nights at Caravan in April for our first time in Dakhla. We had a wonderful time, especially thanks to an amazing team - special thanks to Khalil and Mahfoud who have been super helpful to help us organize our stay there and make us feel welcomed. We will come for sure!

we had a fantastic trip and were lucky to have good wind on 3/5 days and one day medium wind. last day we went fishing with fayz. the food was great and the people were very kind, good massage as well. I would love to go back next year.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at this hotel while visiting Dakhla. The service was superb, the food was delicious and the accommodations made it the great stay that it was. The staff were who made the experience for sure, willing to do whatever to make the stay better and accommodating in any way possible, the reception worker Khalil went out of his way to ensure we had the best excursions booked, that everything to do with our stay at the hotel was running smoothly and even offered his personal number for quick convenient help when needed. I would 100% recommend a stay with this hotel!

Beautiful property with delicious food and very kind and friendly staff. Great access for Kite Surfing and the place is just a beautiful escape to relax and recharge too. Highly recommend. Great time with adventure and peaceful relaxation with friends.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property in Dakhla. First of all it was great value for money vs other resorts - the rooms were very spacious and clean. The decor and views were super, and service was excellent. The front desk has a WhatsApp chat and Mahfouz + Khalil (and Hussein the night guard) were always super helpful whenever we needed anything. The restaurant was excellent: you don't get one of these mass buffets but rather an a la carte full-board experience with delicious dishes and juices. Bravo chef! Important: we are kitesurfers. The school is very well equipped with a great team. They have Naish gear and the beach is just a short walk but the guys always drove us in their car and helped us setup our kites + launch (even though we did not rent and had our own gear). Samy + Omar + Sarah and Oussama you guys are the best, thank you! Some people can get put off by the fact that there is a road crossing, but it's honestly so minor. Like I said, you are driven there and back. You just need to be organized about when you want to go so the school can help you. The school has storage facilities and areas for kite gear - FYI. The location on *********** is inaccurate, it's a much better location if you look at the hotel on Google Maps! I suspect this is costing the hotel and we asked them to change it to reflect this positive fact, so for those looking do check out the Google Maps location which is more accurate. It's a great location and right on the top of the lagoon for those who kite!

Cozy rooms with an amazing view, super friendly stuff, delicious food and amazing vibes! the hotel is right next to the kitesurfing spot which every water sport enthusiast will appriciate as well. Very friendly for digital nomads too! Definitely not my last time there!

Tout y est. L’ambiance musicale, l’amabilité du personnel, le confort des chambres et de la literie, l’excellence des repas, la beauté du lieu, la qualité des massages.. Je n’écris jamais d’avis mais il était impossible de ne pas partager celui là. C’est un vrai sans faute pour cet hôtel dans lequel nous reviendrons encore et encore. Merci pour cette parenthèse magique.

Mon escapade de deux nuits dans ce complexe a été un véritable coup de cœur ! Le personnel est aux petits soins, ce qui rend l'expérience vraiment agréable. J'ai été impressionné par leur réactivité, comme lorsque j'ai demandé à organiser une activité pour le lendemain à 11 heures du soir et j'ai obtenu une réponse immédiate. Chaque demande est traitée avec soin, et leur politesse est remarquable. Je me suis vraiment senti écouté et considéré tout au long de mon séjour. Mon initiation au kitesurf avec Rachid restera gravée dans ma mémoire ! Malgré des conditions d'apprentissage peu optimales, j'ai été touché par la personnalité exceptionnelle de Rachid. Nous avons partagé des moments de rire sincère, et je n'ai qu'une envie : revenir pour terminer mon apprentissage ! Entre les activités proposées, la gentillesse du personnel et la qualité de l'établissement, il s'agit sans aucun doute de la meilleure expérience haut de gamme à Dakhla. Encore merci pour ces rencontres humaines et ce moment hors du temps.

Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable à Habitas Caravan. Le personnel est adorable et les chambres/literie super confortables (+ trop belle déco!). La nourriture est excellente et on se lasse pas du menu même après 7 jours (même si certaines choses au menu n'étaient pas dispo toute la semaine, RIP le flatbread). La pension complète inclue entrée + plat midi et soir (les desserts ainsi que les boissons cocktails/vins/thés/café etc sont en supplément); mais les portions sont amplement suffisantes. Le petit déjeuner est aussi très copieux et bon. Pour cause de 2/3 jours sans vent, nous avons pu pleinement profiter des offres de l'hôtel: - Payantes: l'excursion de la dune blanche (aussi faisable en quad!); massage au spa, - Gratuites: yoga matin et soir; bonfire; movie nights, atelier crème marocaine, tea ceremony... Les jours sans vent et donc sans kite (ce qui arrive rarement apparemment), Rachid nous a conseillé d'aller faire du surf à Lassarga, sur la plage d'Ocean Vagabond, et c'était vraiment génial. Bonne alternative au kite, les vagues étaient parfaites. Mini bémol: Il y avait un petit deficit de profs de kite pour les débutants comparé à la demande de l'hôtel, mais si vous êtes des kiteurs confirmés avec votre matériel, le spot es parfait (moins bondé que le speed spot mais juste à côté). On pensait pouvoir avoir des cours matin et soir, mais c'était plutôt 2/3h par jour max; à cause de la forte demande pour les profs (qui sont seulement 2, parfois 3) La piscine est un réel "plus" comparé aux autres hôtels de Daklha (bien qu'elle était assez froide et peu de gens de baignaient les jours de vent, sauf nous). L'ambiance est chill, il y a pas mal de couples mais aussi des familles ou des bandes de potes; peut être pas l'option la plus festive mais la plus ressourçante.
