In addition to my yearning for academics, I was inevitably a little unfamiliar and uneasy. Fortunately, the homestay I chose not only provided me with a comfortable place to stay, but also made me feel a home-like warmth and care, and all of this came from the amiable and lovely owner of the shop, Auntie. During the few days of staying, it was the humid season in Dalian, and I was particularly touched by Auntie's attentiveness. She not only took the initiative to care about the humidity in my room, but also took the trouble to personally dehumidify my room. I remember one day when I came back from going out, I found that the room was particularly dry and comfortable. Later I learned that Auntie had quietly come in and dealt with it while I was away. This unobtrusive but very real care, like a warm current, permeated my time studying in a foreign land. Auntie's care goes far beyond this. She often kindly asks about my itinerary and whether my activities at Dalian University of Technology are going well. Before leaving in the morning, she said, ”Be careful on the road, and do your best in the activities.” When returning in the evening, she said, ”You must be tired, go to bed early.” These seemingly ordinary greetings are full of elder-like consideration, which makes me, a student away from home, feel at ease. She is not only a landlord, but also a relative who takes care of me in a foreign land, always paying attention to my needs. Her thoughtfulness adds a lot of calmness and warmth to the originally tense summer camp life. The environment of the inn itself is also quite clean and comfortable. The rooms are neatly arranged and fully equipped to meet the basic needs of study and rest. The geographical location is also very convenient, and the traffic to and from Dalian University of Technology is smooth.
