Pros: Location is great. Staff was great. Cloudy (赵翠云) at breakfast buffet was very welcoming and helpful. Cons: Nonsmoking rooms are still not a norm unfortunately, you have to request it and be aware that they could be in short supply. The AC doesn’t work and constantly blew hot air. The room was 30 Celsius when we arrived and temp just wasn’t coming down. Thank goodness the window can be opened.

Room was 30C and horrendous and was unable to sleep. Opening window on 1904 made no difference. Appaling.

It is not clean, pretty old. Washroom and shower room are weird. Not recommended.

To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！ The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room. Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby. The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones. And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!! I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop. Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it. Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house. Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this. Tks!

The location is great if you like to visit some attraction , just at sea side with a very nice view. Breakfast was ok, not amazing but ok. The room isolation to the outside noise is not very good. AC works well, the facilities are not new yiu can see it in details like tapestry and some forniture. Anyway is a good place to stay to explore this corber of Dalian

I really thought a hotel with a good view will be good so spend a night there. But room was not so nice. Everything is very old. There was no one to guide the guest to the room. Have to carry everything and find the room and the keycard hardly works every time.

One of the best locations in Dalian. Hotel is located in Xinghai Square just next to the ocean park and facing the sea. Rooms are of decent size and well equipped. Staff was corteous and checkin/checkout went smoothly. Breakfast is a lavish spread for Chinese guests. Foreigners may find that they have limited choices. Overall, highly recommended.
