I liked the cozy room. The location was convenient as the hotel was near shopping mall, restaurants, and tourist attractions etc.
But above all, the staff was excellent who went extra mile to provide superb service. I especially would like to praise one particular staff (工号F03) who was extremely helpful and wanting to assist to make my stay a great one. Thank you so much!

This is a wonderful hotel located round the corner from the metro station and slap bang in the middle of the many malls and food outlets. As such, it's in a great location for tourists and visitors to this wonderful city. The hotel is big and spacious. The typical room is very very large compared to the average hotel, and the price is very cheap, representing excellent value for money. For anyone visiting downtown, I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were all professional and courteous and the whole experience of staying at such nice hotels made my trip to China all the more memorable.

This was a really nice hotel. We had the family room, which was very large, clean, modern and comfortable. It was in a great location downtown. It certainly exceeded our expectations. Furthermore, the manager, Mr. Xiao WANG, and his colleagues were very hospitable and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we are in Dalian.

1. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of action. There was a street food next door, with McD, Pizza Hut and KFC all within 05 mins of walking. There was a mall with a Walmart hypermarket at the underground level nearby. It is convenient for those who stayed more than a few nights and needed to provision for work in Dalian.
2. There is a university nearby, plus a hill overlooking the Dalian city which you can conveniently walk/jog up to in the morning/evening.
3, The room is sufficiently well spaced, the bed and pillows are comfy, the lights are decently illuminant, the shower water pressure strong and the temperature hot when you need it ; the room is well decorated, there is enough work space on the table, there is a fridge ; the basin, the toilet bowl, and the shower room are independent of each other. In other words, a well thought out room layout. The lighting control is well calibrated, the central air conditioning is quiet, there is a special pop-out plug points on the table for laptops and phone charging.
4. The breakfast is good, a bit of every kind, mainly Chinese dish but some Western oriented salad style vege/fruits for those who need it. Milk is available (not something to be taken for granted in China as milk is not commonly available)
5. There is a free laundry room for use, the detergent and softener are provided free-of-charge ; iron and iron board is available as well.
6. The hotel service is tightly run by its Manager who ensure the staff are always tending as soon as possible to the customers. A special thanks to reception staff 孙晓辉 for patiently helping out with China-specific app for about 30 mins.

The list of things to enjoy are endless 👏but a bite too expensive, and for a hotel of this price there should be definitely a free mini bar and some free stuff in the room. 我我叫莎莎This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

The stuff is really friendly, there was manager who spoke in English very well. He was professional and very kind. He made our stay comfortable. LLiuVery clean hotel, close to airport, room is big enough, except very little smoking smell which is typical of hotel in northeast China and much better than other hotels; I love the free laundry and BF, laundry provide detergent plus dryer, BF is rich including both western and Chinese style, fruit, drink, toast, egg, sausage and Chinese soup, vegetables, dumplings, noodles, and more. The BF may not as many options as 4 stars hotel but definitely good enough and fresh and clean.

PPengguna Tetamu帶父母和孩子們來玩、雖然細節之處跟日本相比有差距之外、整個環境真的很日式、這裏的服務真的也很不錯、尤其是我們入住時負責的一位員工（雖然不知道名字、很感謝🙏）因為有小寶寶大家都很照顧、還幫忙拿來嬰兒床、温泉地方很乾凈很治癒、孩子們游泳的地方水也很乾凈。剛好趕在秋天來、紅葉暈染的庭院很美！
如果在客人入住酒店時對整個設場館設施再做介紹、在有小孩入住的房間準備小孩沐浴露、拿走茶几上的易碎物品就更好了☺️
帶父母帶小孩來一定不會讓人失望、一次愉快的住宿體驗👍

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe first day i came, i have trouble with booking procedure as the receptionist couldn’t find my name. I understand they have difficulties to read english name, so i have to wait about 20 minutes for check in. For the room and facilities are good and clean. I booked for 2 nights but they don’t provide any room cleaning and mineral water for the second day. Overall it is worth it for budget traveller , it is not far, not close too, from the subway station line 2 : yi er jiu jie station. I walked less than 10 minutes to reach the station, using Baitu Maps. Dalian is really beautiful, will come back again next year.
