Hotel room is clean and new , provide laundry service and free supper from 9.30pm to 11pm and this is a surprise to us especially during cold weather also we have an old folk with us so we enjoyed it a lot.
Quite a lot of eateries nearby, small shops to buy some groceries.

"The location is the plus point for this hotel.It is very near the Metro station,easy to catch didi and convenient to walk to the street snacks at old dalian street.Eateries are nearby and just around the corner.Dalian market is just behind the old dalian street.Just walk to the end of the snack street and across is Mycal shopping centre and Dalian market.Don't miss the numerous food stall inside Dalian market. It's amazing the variety of food inside.Mr.Wang of Mercure is very helpful at the front office and gave us a souvenir. Unfortunately, it can't be said for two young lady staff attending to us when we checked out.They were rude and lack good manners you expect from the hospitality sector and from Mercure hotel.Basically they lack training.The coffee machine during breakfast is ridiculous and doesn't work properly. Kitchen staff lacks enthusiasm ,coffee mugs were not washed promptly and not available for hot drinks during peak breakfast time and breakfast is just mediocre.The bedsheets had blood stains and we had to complain to have it changed.As mentioned, the location is fantastic."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was quaint with a very comfortable bed. Front desk were very accommodating, spoke some English to my benefit and helped us with everything. Housekeeping was considerate and cleaned room daily. Had breakfast daily and they offered a nice variety of food. It was enough to satisfy for the morning. We even left for a short trip to Shanghai and returned to the same hotel for a few more days. Staff held our excess luggage until we returned which was awesome. Some nice authentic restaurants nearby made it all a great experience. Thank you."

"Overall, the hotel stay was pretty good. Location is slightly inside the roads but is still quite convenient to walk around though I felt that there are other hotels that is nearer to the roundabout area. Nonetheless, it is surrounded by many massage shops which is pretty good.
Room is nice with projector and screen which the quality is good and clear. Downside would be that it seems impossible to turn off the bedside LED light. Room size is also pretty decent. Felt that the Housekeeping is quite wasteful because they throw all slippers and toothbrush almost every day after room cleaning."

MMeyjiI stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and felt like home, the view of the sea is really beautiful. The location of the hotel is very good, close to Venice and the beach with beautiful seagulls. Unfortunately, this hotel does not have a safe deposit box. There is no problem with hot water in the bathroom for 4 people as long as you know how to use it. I am very grateful for the service of the room staff, Miss Li Feng Jun, who was very helpful and felt like family, and also the staff at the reception who were very helpful.

The house keeping team had entered my room 2 times within the 4 days during my stay.
A not-disturb card was hang as well as the not-disturb light was also turned on.
Upon the first enter, I had went to raise the issue with the hotel. The initial reply was the not-disturb card might be ‘moved’ when I opened the door for exiting. Little that they know I had took photo when I make myself leaving the room. On top of that, the no-disturb light was also on too even they falsely claimed card was moved.
Then the hotel replied that ‘oh no, they must of entered the room to tidy up the room’. Yet, the room was NOT tidying up at all.
Again, what’s the purpose for them to enter the room without my consent and my present? I questioned by expressing this may be a careless mistake which I do not wish to happen to anyone anymore, then I had left the scene and leave it as it is.
It HAPPENED AGAIN next day, I was frustrated and questioning the hotel again. They said they will ‘investigate’ and given me an explanation of what was happening. 2 hours later they rang to my room, and informed me that ‘due to you are staying alone with no companion, it is the policy of the hotel to check up on me to make sure I’m safe’
Really? ARE YOU SERIOUS? This is what they replied me of the case. Number 1, if this is the actual reason, why don’t they tell me the first time when this was happened. Number 2, I had clearly stated I do not wish to be disturbed and yet it has not been respected. Number 3, due to the nature of my occupation, I’m staying in different hotel 9 months out of the whole year. I had never ever heard of this.
Long story short, I will not going back to this hotel nor recommend to anyone.

SSam and LeeWe booked two nights at Yiyi Haisu hotel to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a wider view of Dalian's Venice city and sea. The room was large, comfortable and warm. The bedding was comfy and a dream to sleep on.
The reception was very helpful and provided everything that we asked for. We had a great time and would love to come back again ;-)

SSutaiIt was very western designed. The interior and services were good but somethings were very expensive. like twice the amount it should be.
Also the room's hair dryer was broken. We had to use hair band to make it work again.
Other than that everything was smooth and jazz. The room was really good. There was a pillow menu! My mom only uses latex due to medical reasons, so the pillow menu was really helpful.
The band at the live music section was really friendly. They even sang a birthday song for my mom!

I can sum up my stay in one word: exceptional value.
The room was very spacious with a million-dollar view, all at a very friendly price. There is a washing machine in the room, and hot water was not an issue at all during winter. Just a small tip: avoid showering while the washing machine is running, as it seems to draw the hot water away. At first, I thought there was a food warmer or stove, but this room does not have one. However, the staff kindly allowed us to use the microwave at the office.
The host was incredibly helpful and always replied very quickly on WeChat — so fast that I honestly wondered if they ever slept! 😄
The bedding was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was smooth and flexible; we could easily request cleaning or refills on the days we needed them. If there is one area for improvement, I would suggest renovating some details, such as repainting areas where the paint is peeling and re-sealing the sink edges and other parts of the bathroom.
There was a slight cigarette smell in the room, but it really depends on how sensitive you are. For us, opening the window for ventilation or using a spray solved the issue easily. Some noise from other areas was noticeable, as there is a gym on the same floor, and during our stay it was New Year’s, so there were some party noises. That said, this can happen anywhere and is not something the property can fully control.
Getting there was easy — we took a taxi directly to the hotel address. Check-in is on the 23rd floor, Room 19, where they provide the room number and access code. Wi-Fi is available, and only a passport is needed for registration. For check-out, simply notify them via WeChat.
Around the hotel, there are a few small local eateries within walking distance, though we did not notice a convenience store nearby.
Overall, I would rate this place excellent. I’m not judging it by hotel star standards, but by value for money — and what we received was far beyond what we paid for. Highly recommended!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel accepts foreigners. Great location, a walking distance from Dalian Station, essentially on Zhongshan Square. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option.
