아파트먼트형 패밀리 숙소라 큰 냉장고, 전자렌지, 세탁기, 식탁 등이 있어서 좋았어요. 간단한 옷가지를 숙소에서 세탁하고 저녁때는 식탁에 모여 앉아 시간을 보낼 수 있어서 부모님의 만족도가 높았어요. 로비 엘베는 다소 오래 기다려야해서 불편했는데 다른 상가?로 이동하는 엘베를 찾아 이동했더니 편했어요. 같은 상가내 음식점, 스파 등 이용할 수 있어서 좋았네요. 로비 직원들 모두 친절했고요. 다음에 오면 또 방문 할 생각입니다.

We stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit. Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes. Where do I even start? The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference. Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures. One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy. We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care. To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here. This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere. If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Having recently stayed in a twin-share room (two single beds), I can confidently say this hotel sets a high standard for five-star hospitality in the city. Impeccable Rooms & Layout From the moment I entered, the first thing that struck me was the cleanliness. The housekeeping staff is meticulous, performing a thorough cleaning every single day to ensure the space feels fresh and welcoming. The room design is modern and thoughtful, particularly the bathroom. It features a clearly defined split between wet and dry zones, which is a practical touch that many hotels overlook, making the daily routine much more organized and comfortable. The Gold Standard of Service The staff here truly understand the meaning of ”service with a smile.” The reception team was incredibly professional and went out of their way to assist with every request. A standout feature is their generosity with basic amenities—you can easily request additional bottled water at the front desk whenever needed, a small but significant gesture that makes a big difference for travelers. A Prime Location for Explorers Location-wise, you couldn't ask for more. The hotel is situated in the heart of the action, adjacent to multiple major shopping malls, offering endless options for dining and retail therapy. Furthermore, its proximity to the Metro station is a game-changer. You can navigate the entire city of Dalian with ease, avoiding traffic and saving precious time. Final Verdict: With its pristine rooms, strategic location, and heartwarming service, Tianxi Hotel is the perfect base for both business and leisure travelers. The (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions. On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience. Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion. Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out. So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us.

The location was perfect! Exceeded all of our expectations. It felt like a luxurious home. Can't imagine how breathtaking this view would be in autumn.

This place is the best sofar with an incredible seaview. The staff is helpful. It's clean and cozy . Walking distance to all restaurants and subway stations

We had a lovely time Hard Rock Hotel Dalian. The check-in process is very smooth and our room was upgraded to higher floor. The room is clean and very comfortable. The front desk officer, 草蜢 and Lawrence, helped us receiving packages, recommending nice restaurants to eat, even lending us umbrellas when it's raining. We also enjoyed watching football match with live music at the bar. The bartender, 王晋伟, especially made us feel very welcome and made sure we had a fun night there.

This is an instagrammable hotel that offers quality service. From checking in to checking out you will be assisted by the staff. There is an open beach a few steps away with 2-3 cafe shops. One of them is Caan. The buffet breakfast offers delicious western and Chinese breakfast. The rooms are nicely designed with a balcony overlooking the beach. Snacks and drinks are also offered for free including a welcome fruit plate. Toiletries are of quality and smells really good. Japanese toilet is another plus! The bed and pillows are all comfortable. They also offer activities like boat and paddle board riding. If u need help with anything including attractions to see, they have a wechat account and they respond quick. I highly recommend this place if you want a more quiet place to stay. And of course the private beach front setup is so relaxing and offers a great view both day and night!

The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully appointed, blending modern amenities with a sense of comfort. The common areas, from the lobby lounge to the fitness center and pool, were maintained to a high standard, offering beautiful and functional spaces to relax or rejuvenate. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, contributing to an atmosphere of refined relaxation. As for the food, it was a highlight of the experience. Dining was a pleasure, with a menu that offered both classic favorites and inventive dishes. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, each meal was beautifully presented, and the flavors were consistently excellent. It was clear that the culinary team takes great pride in their craft, making every meal something to look forward to. In summary, my experience was outstanding across the board. The impeccable service, superior facilities, and delightful cuisine combined to create a perfect stay. I left feeling thoroughly refreshed and already looking forward to the next opportunity to return. This establishment has truly mastered the art of hospitality.

This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too. The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet. Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings. Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!
