Great place. Spacious, air conditioned rooms, good food at a decent price, owner is a cool guy. Also got a nice pool. Great little road for taking an evening stroll, also. Only a couple minor drawbacks. One is the wifi is a bit weak (almost nonexistent, actually) near the front of the building. But another router there and it’d be no problem. Another is location. It’s about half an hour from Sigiriya and Pidurangula, so you will need to get up a bit early for the sunrise hikes. But then again, this location is quiet and peaceful, not crawling with tourists and suffering from noise pollution, so it’s a great little retreat after a long day climbing and snapping pics.

What an experience. An amazing place, jungle style but very clean and modern. Our room was huge, with a tree going into the sealing, pool area, reastaurant and bar. Apart the amazing place, we were welcomed by the host Suni and his entourage of co-workers who made our stay warm, carefree and special. We did the Village safari and later on Elephant safari, organized by Suni. Great location for the rock mountain as well as a Ceremony dance, really highly recommend this place, get yourself guided to get there, avoid sideroads.

The entire stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and welcoming staff to the beautifully appointed room, every detail was carefully thought out. The birthday surprise that the hotel arranged for my father truly made the occasion memorable.The hotel's attention to detail, cleanliness, and the impeccable service provided by the staff contributed significantly to our overall satisfaction. The amenities and facilities exceeded our expectations, and it was evident that the team put in extra effort to make our stay special. Thank you once again for making my father's birthday celebration a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. We look forward to future stays at Jungle Hut Resort and will gladly recommend your establishment to friends and family.

We got a very warm welcome at the jungle hut resort, the rooms were nice and clean, the tree though the roof makes it a bit adventurous even. The service was very good and kind, overall a nice experience. Only remark is they charged us for a dish we never ordered and also for water which should have been included. So be sure to ask what’s included and what’s not.

Superbe accueil malgré l heure arrivée tardive. Le personnel est au petit soin. Repas dans le restaurant excellent et très copieux . Chambre atypique propre dans la campagne . Moment de dépaysement garantie. Petit déjeuner de qualité avant de reprendre la route.

Siamo capitati per caso in questa struttura durante un viaggio itinerante auto-gestito. Struttura in legno aperta di recente, meno di 2 anni, immersa nella natura. Camere pulite e accoglienti! Il fiore all’occhiello è stato il proprietario Sami, gentilissimo e super disponibile come i ragazzi che lavorano nella struttura. Ci ha organizzato benissimo le escursioni e i trasferimenti, anche con poco preavviso! Cucina semplice, tipica cingalese e molto buona, sia la colazione che la cena, sempre ricca e attenta alle richieste. Assolutamente da non perdere.
