The room is clean, spacious and has a great view of the Hyde Park and the city wirhout being bloked by other high rise buildings. The rooftop pool, gym and spa is the hightlight with 360 degrees view and is opened from 5am-11pm, great for those who love to swim especially in the summer season. The buffet breakfast has a wide variety of food. Overall, super sastified with our stay.

The hotel environment is acceptable, but the service attitude is extremely poor, and the front desk was dishonest. The duty manager also tried to defend the front desk instead of admitting the mistake. Here’s what happened: I booked two rooms of the same type for this stay. However, after checking in, I found that one room had an openable window, while the other did not. After checking in, I asked the front desk to switch the non-openable room to an openable one. Initially, the front desk insisted that due to New South Wales law, no windows could be opened. But after the guest in the other room pointed out that their window *could* be opened, they then claimed that 90% of windows couldn't be opened. As a hotel professional, the most basic principle is to communicate honestly with guests, which Tina failed to do. Later, I complained to the duty manager, who dismissed it as a “miscommunication,” refusing to acknowledge the dishonesty. This was truly disgusting. I then asked the manager to send an email explaining the situation, but the email also downplayed the issue, which was absolutely appalling. There’s a strong suspicion of racial discrimination here.

The room was spacious and clean! Central Location so easy to get around the city! We were a bit disappointed with the spa facilities though. Hot tub needed more water and a bit warmer!

The hotel may be a bit old, but everything is well maintained and in good condition. The facilities are clean, functional, and cared for, which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel is right next to Hyde Park, offering great views from its high floor rooms with outdoor balconies. Facilities: Decent standard. Hygiene: Well-maintained. Environment: Many guest rooms. Service: The front desk is small, but the service is good.

The hotel's location is convenient; you can pretty much walk to everywhere in the CBD. The view of Hyde Park from the room window is pleasant, and the bathtub is quite large. The heated pool and gym on the top floor are worth checking out.

This Pullman hotel is nothing like the ones in China, is it? It's over twenty floors high, but there are only three elevators. One is permanently out of service, and another frequently breaks down. In a place where foreigners really value their personal space, we're packed in like sardines every single day.

The conditions are generally old and dusty. One night we came back late and found no room cleaning at all, with my trash bins full and beds not made. I had to advise the hotel to clean the next day. However, when we came back the next day, I found the table and wash room table were still not cleaned at all. Some breakfast juice and milk stains remained on the table. Good location and good park view though.

Nice room with toiletries provided.  A lot of noise can be heard down hallway by other guests and doors are noisy when closed.  Plenty of onsite parking and good spot opposite Hyde park. Went to happy hour at downstairs bar and no $8 tap beer and cocktails full price so 🤷♀️

Hotel rooms are a bit dated and probably needs a refresh to the decor and bathroom interiors. The bed mattress is surprisingly quite comfortable and has a nice working desk (good for WFH situations). I was able to sit for meetings and work thru the day on the desk setup. If you are just using the place as a jumping point to explore Sydney, its a pretty decent choice.

The hotel is an established five-star property with an excellent location, and the front desk staff were very friendly. However, the elevators were a major issue. One of the three was out of service for maintenance, and the remaining two were incredibly slow, especially during the day. Waiting for an elevator often took around 15 minutes, which is a significant waste of valuable time. For this reason, I cannot recommend it.

The room was great, very newly renovated. The front desk staff was a bit rude, but the elevators were incredibly scarce. When checking out at 11 AM, I waited for seven or eight elevators, and all of them were completely full – I was shocked! Overall, it was a good experience.

In short, Pullman Hyde Park Sydney is a great hotel with a gym and pool that offer good views. The rooms are clean, and the location is perfect for accessing all the famous tourist spots. We stayed for 5 nights at Pullman Hyde Park Sydney in mid-May. We arrived at the hotel around 10 AM, which was earlier than the scheduled check-in time. We requested an early check-in at the concierge; however, we were informed that no rooms were available until 1 PM. This was understandable, given our early arrival. While waiting, we appreciated the water dispenser and snacks available for guests. One downside was that the hotel had only three lifts, which were insufficient for the number of guests. One lift even broke down, and the other two were quite slow. We booked a Superior King Room with a Hyde Park view, which was lovely. The room was clean, with no odors or stains. However, our first room was missing disposable slippers and had a broken phone. The staff quickly sent a technician and arranged for us to move to a higher floor with a functioning phone. They were responsive, but we had to move our luggage ourselves, as they were unable to assist with that. (It was around 6pm so they may be short-staffed at that moment.) We spent some time at the gym, but unfortunately, the drinking water ran out around 6 PM. We called the concierge to have it replenished, but no one arrived by the time we left. The pool was decent, and there was also a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi was located right next to the gym and in front of the glass entrance, so anyone coming out of the elevator could see you enjoying it, which may or may not be a concern for some guests. A highlight was running on the treadmill while enjoying the stunning sunset over the city skyline—it was spectacular. The location was fantastic! The major bus stops were just a 6-minute walk away, providing easy access to Bondi Beach, Central Station, and Darling Harbour .etc. It was also only a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour, which made exploring the area very convenient. Overall, while I believe there are cheaper options with similar location advantages, the cleanliness at Pullman Hyde Park was notably better than those alternatives.

Excellent location, right next to Hyde Park. It's very close to both the subway and light rail stations, and there are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. You can even walk to Town Hall in less than ten minutes. The hotel is a bit dated, but the service remains consistently good.
