房間設施尚可，就是枱燈不亮。經檢查後換了個燈泡還是不良。後來在茶台上試了一下，燈亮了。原來是插座壞了。自認為枱燈應該放在寫字枱上，換了其他插座，燈泡閃了一下還是不亮。最後插哪裡都不亮了。
茶台乾淨整齊。沒有茶包，打電話問詢問是否忘記放茶包，告知，從來就沒有。房間冰箱擺設
酒店設施，服務一般吧。辦理入住後要先爬半層樓，才能乘電梯上樓。沒有服務生，還好有服務人員告知有坡道。幫忙打開坡道燈，拿大行李的，老弱客人是個考驗。讓服務送兩小瓶水，還扣了按金十元，哦對，還給送來一包茶葉透明裝應該是鐵觀音。沒動，辦理入住後看到其他平台價格還少幾塊錢

Nnottinghill美居在某住會體系裡屬於“高檔型”，可高檔的標準不應該衹有硬件（整體都還可以），軟件服務更是重要。
剛到酒店，前台一男（圖1）一女兩位都在給客人辦理入住，我排在下一位。待男生這邊辦理完看了我一眼後就去一旁指點女生，我不知是否到我了繼續在後麪排着，又等了一會兒我有點不耐煩了（辦理入住時候已經快3點了，有點累），催問“是否能辦理了”，這時黑衣服男生回答“可以辦理啊！”那我就想知道了，你看見我在排隊，上一個辦理完後不理我去一邊幹別的，非得我問你才能輪到我麼？
後來在房間外也是碰見他，説起之前詢問充電樁的事，哥們低頭看手機，全程沒抬眼看我。請問這是酒店服務人員培訓的標準麼？
還有個細節，出房間門看見一整車的歡迎水果，還以為會稍後送過來，後來發現根本沒我們的。這還分三六九等，也是第一次遇見。
最後走的時候，電梯裏遇到的工程部小夥子和前台辦理退房的幾位工作人員倒是特別有禮貌。

PPengguna TetamuI cannot rate Tangfang Courtyard more highly. I almost don't want to write a review and reveal it to more travellers! The photos are accurate of the elegant, beauty of this courtyard based hotel. The room was high ceilinged with wooden rafters, smart, elegant shower, bowls of fruit, spoiling bedding. It was bang in the centre of the old city, yet completely tranquil in a gorgeously authentic, but quiet street. We were greeted warmly and cosily by Yezi, who welcomed us with drinks and fruit, and really couldn't do enough for us. My son is fluent in Mandarin but I don't speak a word yet still, she was eager to help me make my dairy free coffee in the morning, quickly sorted us a great, appropriately priced driver and comfortable car to go to the hanging monastery and grottoes the next day. This is unique in that is in an authentic building, elegant, yet cosy family atmosphere with a kitchen/dining room where all guests eat round the same table. The last effort Yezi and her colleagues made was to source me some of the very striking vinegar jars unique to Datong at a moment's notice, the morning we were leaving. Bearing in the mind, this was done via Google Translate, I cannot thank you them all enough. They made our stay in Datong memorable, beyond the obvious wonders of the UNESCO sites. Thank you again to all at Tangfang Courtyard.

The location is in the old town in rebuilt old architectural buildings. The facilities of the hotel are top quality. We stayed in the Tatami room, which was very spacious and tastefully furnished. We could not wish for a better place to stay. Highly recommended.

CChunzhendedafantuanSaya tidur dalam bilik dengan kang besar yang sangat unik. Tetapi hotel itu mempunyai sejarah yang panjang, dan ia dikatakan sebagai tempat Zhaojun menginap. Dan sarapan paginya sangat enak, mi sup kambing sedap, bos sangat bersemangat, dan sentiasa ada hirisan tembikai, sup plum masam dan makanan ringan lain di atas meja di lobi untuk dimakan tetamu. Lebih-lebih lagi, lokasi hotel ini sangat baik. Ia terletak di bandar purba dan mudah untuk pergi ke mana-mana. Kedai mi di Jalan Xijin terletak di tingkat bawah, tidak jauh dari Kuil Huayan bertentangan, dan berdekatan dengan tarikan lain di bandar purba itu. Secara keseluruhannya hotel yang sangat bagus. Berbaloi untuk tinggal.

PPaul StephenThis was a great place to stay for our 3 nights in Datong. It's like condo rooms in a high rise. We had a huge room, all very clean and new. There was a view towards the light show at Datong city walls. The host was very friendly, she taught me how to get the bus to the Yungang Grottoes. Cross the main road outside and take bus no.17 to the end of the line at a station. From there bus no 3 will take you to the entrance of Yungang Grottoes, it is easy and super cheap. There was no English spoken here, but the translation app covers that problem. Great value for money, we highly recommend this place.

DDzintarsThe hotel is really good and convenient. It's in a walking distance from the Ancient City and Walls, there are several small shops and local food stalls around it. The breakfast is completely Chinese style, but it's good.
The gym is very small, in fact, not even a separate room, just very few machines, but it was not that important for us.
Personnel are very helpful. Everyone did their best to make our stay comfortable. Especially, the manager Kristina - she is very kind, helpful, assisted us a lot, with some practical things and some advice, when it was necessary.
Definitely, will stay here another time.

The staff is modestly bilingual and attentive.
Good choices in Chinese restaurants about a 10 minute walk away.
Rooms are large and very clean.
Most western guests will find the internet access challenging.
The Yungang caves are a 20 minute taxi ride. Downtown’s temples are 10 minutes away.

GGeorgeI was greeted with a fruit platter during check-in, which was a wonderful welcome gesture considering I left my home about 24 hours earlier, traveling non-stop from California to Datong, China. The Inn provides a wonderful experience for the first-time foreign visitor. The interior decor has that Chinese charm consisting of artwork, a book display, an aquarium with an auspicious collection of 8 large fishes (carp, I think), in-room tea set with an on-table electric stove, which would be unique to most Westerners. The glass flooring adds an extraordinary appeal since I have never experienced that in a hotel before, and I have traveled to dozens of countries.
The Inn is well located, a short bus ride to Datong Railway Station (for non-high-speed rail travel)*, and a short taxi ride to Datong South Railway Station (for high-speed rail travel)**. It is just next to Datong City Wall. You can walk along the top of the City Wall at no cost. A 10-20 minute walk takes you to nearly all the attractions within the ancient City Wall. Here you will also find a variety of restaurants serving local food as well as souvenir shops. There is also a small shop that sells sundry items including drinks (beer included) within a 5-minute walk from the Inn. Across from this sundry shop, is a shop that specializes in ancient Chinese clothing (Hanfu dress). They can dress you up, cosmetics included.
The Inn provides directions to Yujian Yun Gang - a popular destination for travelers to Datong. Here you will see ancient Buddhist cave art, including large and tall (several stories tall) sculptures. It takes two bus rides to get there, 1RMB per ride.
My booking choice was for either a guest room on the 1st or 2nd floor but was assigned a wonderful 2nd-floor guest room.
The owners of the Inn were exceptionally friendly. I met both the mother and her daughter. My room was professionally cleaned and provided with drinking bottled water daily.
If I return to Datong in the future, I will certainly book a room at this Inn.
*I took a train from this station to travel south to Xinzhou after checking out.

AAirborn63The hotel is situated not far from the old walled town and equal distance to the shopping area. Formerly a Holiday Inn now independent.
The rooms are large and comfortable with good work desk and wifi. Comfortable bed gives good rest. The fridge had been removed but there is kettle and plenty of water, every day some fruit was delivered to the room which I appreciated.
Hotel has gym, swimming pool and two restaurant, given the price it was very good value for money and I would happily stay again.
