The room was really spacious, clean, and spotless. The bathroom was also generously sized, featuring two sinks, which was incredibly convenient. Plus, all the toiletries – shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion – were from L'Occitane. Overall, it was excellent. What made it even better was that they included complimentary round-trip cable car tickets for two, and breakfast was also part of the package. This made it an absolutely fantastic deal!

I was a bit apprehensive after reading previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The room and overall environment were excellent, with facilities that felt quite new. The service also exceeded my expectations. However, the breakfast was quite basic. My main disappointment was the subpar room cleaning, which really let down the otherwise beautiful room and surroundings. Additionally, there was a persistent drain smell in the bathroom, and I hope this can be addressed.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the room type was identical. Absolutely nothing has improved. The soft mattress and high pillows made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. The amenities in the room were of very poor quality. To top it all off, the blackout curtains were completely ineffective, making it impossible to get a good rest.

Great value for money with the cable cars included. The large room gives a great view ( they helpfully adjusted the tv screen so I could see out!). East and west facing balconies and wonderfully quiet. Great location to escape the summer heat and next to the upper cable car for easy access to the yin yang watershed. The lake is great to see the sunrise and there are adjacent resturants. The negatives were finding a number of dead mosquitoes in the bathroom upon arrival (although better than living!) and cobwebs behind the fridge plus the terrible breakfast which is in the hotel next door.

I was very satisfied with the room type, and the underfloor heating worked wonderfully! The surrounding scenery was also quite stunning. My only minor feedback is that the room's cleanliness could be improved. Additionally, I hope the dining options can better reflect the hotel's overall standard.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, with beautiful snow views right outside the door. At night, the heating and hot water were both plentiful – in fact, it was almost *too* warm!

The hotel is beautiful and the service was excellent. However, it was a bit pricey during the holiday season. I suggest they stock a wider and better range of emergency medications or first-aid supplies at the front desk for any unforeseen circumstances.

The room's ambiance was perfect for the snowy weather. However, the amenities were a bit limited; I'd suggest installing heated toilets, as going to the bathroom during a heavy snowfall can be quite a challenge. Overall, I was very satisfied with the trip.

The room facilities were good, and the toiletries were all L'Occitane. There was snow right outside the door, and the kids had a great time playing. The only drawback was that the underfloor heating wasn't warm enough, making it a bit chilly at night.

The cleanliness was truly appalling. The bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned, the sink was absolutely filthy, and some lights in the room were broken. The breakfast was equally dreadful. The luggage transfer service was also a complete rip-off; they impose strict delivery times for luggage whether you're heading up or down the mountain. While staff were available to assist with uphill transfers, for downhill, you were left entirely to fend for yourself.

The room was spacious, perfect for families traveling with children. Check-in was smooth. After booking, I tried to call customer service for inquiries but couldn't get through on my first attempt. Once I finally connected, we communicated via WeChat. However, compared to other similarly priced hotels, the attention to detail in their service could be improved. We checked in on ***** New Year's Eve, and almost all restaurants in the entire scenic area were closed, with only one or two operating. That evening, we had to walk around the lake for a long time just to find a place to eat. The hotel didn't inform us of this beforehand. Furthermore, there was no festive atmosphere or special New Year arrangements at all. Ultimately, good hotel service is all about the details. That said, the summit of Xiling Snow Mountain is absolutely stunning!

The room was very clean and spacious. I was traveling alone with my two children, and they were absolutely thrilled because they could play in the snow right outside our room. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, and there was a dedicated shuttle service to take us to and from the cable car. I accidentally left some belongings in the room during the Spring Festival, and after the holiday, a kind lady from the hotel staff even made a special trip down the mountain to mail them back to me. This was incredibly thoughtful.

The hotel ambiance was pleasant, and the VIP express lane and luggage handling services were great. However, the check-in process at the front desk was absolutely terrible. I arrived at the hotel at 12 PM. As I exited the car, a male staff member asked for my name and informed me that my room wasn't ready yet, suggesting I go for lunch first. At 2 PM, after lunch, I returned to the front desk. The same male staff member told me the room was *still* not ready and asked me to leave my phone number so they could call me when it was cleaned. By 2:30 PM, I went back to inquire. The male staff member claimed he didn't know when it would be ready. It was only *then* that I overheard him call someone to clean the room. I confronted him, asking why he hadn't initiated the cleaning process earlier. After a brief dispute, a female staff member approached around 3 PM, informing me that the room would only be ready in another hour. To be told to wait yet another hour after already waiting for three hours made me extremely angry. The female staff member then stated she would 'solve the problem'. When I asked how, she simply reiterated that I should wait another hour. She even added that no cleaning was happening at 12 PM and that the male staff member was 'misleading' me. This entire experience made the check-in process feel incredibly chaotic, with everyone passing the buck. Their proposed 'solution' was simply to make me wait *yet another hour*. I have to ask, is this truly solving the problem?

I absolutely have to complain about this hotel. Despite its hefty price tag, it utterly fails to deliver on service and facilities, making it incredibly poor value for money. While the location might be good, the amenities are severely subpar. The 'hot water' is only available during specific hours, and even then, it's barely lukewarm – certainly not what anyone would consider hot enough for a comfortable shower. I couldn't even bring myself to wash up.
And don't even get me started on the service. There were no USB charging ports in the room. When I contacted the staff to ask if I could borrow an adapter, I was met with a blunt 'no' and a complete lack of willingness to help or find a solution. I also asked for two room keys, only to be flatly refused and told it was 'impossible.' It felt like being completely swindled, with no room for negotiation or problem-solving.
The hotel's restaurant was equally disappointing; the food was merely edible, nothing to write home about. This is a hotel I visited once, and I will absolutely never set foot in it again.

Extremely satisfied with our stay. First, the 'Pigeon Tree' room type is excellent. It's ideal for two families or for staying with parents, featuring a shared living room and two separate bedrooms upstairs. The bedrooms are spacious, the amenities are brand new, and the bathrooms boast a large, standalone bathtub – truly matching the standards of a high-end five-star hotel in China. The underfloor heating worked perfectly.
The hotel service was also excellent. Upon check-in, the outdoor stairs were a bit icy and slippery, but staff immediately came to clear them. Upon departure, staff helped us with our large luggage. We accidentally left our IDs at the front desk and only realized it after we'd returned to Chengdu. The hotel staff promptly sent them back to us the very next day, for which we are incredibly thankful! 🙏
I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family, and I'll certainly stay here again on my next skiing trip to Xiling.
