Le Roi Dehradun

Very poor stay experience, food was stale and they served morning idli to us in the dinner and when confronted they said they pure heated the food. The place and food was unhygienic. The rooms and common area was untidy and was not clean. Overall terrible stay, unhygienic and stale food, and very poor service. There was only one ac remote in the hotel which was with manager and everytime you have to request them to come and change the ac temperature. I don't recommend others to stay there.

The hotel is conveniently located near to the railway station. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel staff are courteous.

Everything was excellent. Room was clear with all the necessary amenities. Staffs were humble, polite and well behaved. However, the only thing which i think could have been better is to pack the extra food while dining in the restaurant or alternatively the option to order half plate of cuisine.

Rooms were good and well maintained. Food was good too but options were limited - literally very limited. Few staffs were very polite and helpful. Certain staffs[reception desk] refused to help when i asked to help in booking a cab to the airport. They were just keen on getting a positive review and asked me to share the screens-hot of the review there itself.

The location is good, the room is clean and the lobby areas are good. Did not explore the restaurant

I booked it based on reviews. A bit costlier as compared to the nearby hotels, but then the ambience, hospitality, food, rooms everything's so good, every penny is worth it. There was relaxation on check-in and out timings, which isn't generally given by most of the hotels. There's food court/cafeteria is on 1st floor with a lot of options. My room was 5th floor - clean and spacious with lovely colouring and a balcony with city view. Room service was quite round the clock. A small thing which bothered me - they don't have a wash-basin inside toilet/washroom but outside in the room. It didn't make sense. It gets weird having to come out and wash your hands every time you use the washroom - esp. when you are staying with your family or friends. But that factor aside, everything was great. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Dehradun, provided they don't increase the price much :) I loved my stay at the Le Roi hotel

Had to urgently book a room to stay at night and booked Le Roi. It was a decent stay. The staff was quite polite. The room was small but clean and very well maintained. The food was average.
